1st I have to say that Stonegate is one of my favorite places for breakfast. Been going there for years. Eat there at least once a week. Sad to say I had a horrible experience today & lousy customer service. Ordered omelet, hash brown crispy & toast. Got my omelette & undercooked hash browns & no toast. Waiter said he would get me another order of hash browns & toast coming. Ate 1/2 my omelette & left the rest until the other 1/2 of my meal arrived. 30 mins later no hash brown & still no toast. Told waiter I couldnt wait any longer & had to leave. I didnt say anything about comping meal but waiter blurted out - "won't comp your meal". I have loved this place for years so worked hard not to lose my cool. I said I havent yet rec'd my entire meal. He said hash browns were ready if I still wanted them & then turned & walked away...not waiting for my answer. I eat here at least once a week & the only thing they did for me was to take $5 off the full meal I ordered and never received. Paid $15 for 1/2 an omelette. Shocked and very disappointed. read more

We just moved here and this is officially our new breakfast place! Everyone is so friendly and we were able to call ahead to put our name on the waiting list. Someone, who we can only assume was the owner, was walking around greeting and chatting with all the customers. This is a very welcoming, and not to mention, extremely delicious place to eat! As a younger couple that have moved often, we always know that when we see the older generation waiting to get in at a restaurant, that we have found a great place. read more

I ordered the huevos rancheros. Food came out and was almost inedible. The girl serving the food called my huevos rancheros "smothered eggs." I knew then I was in trouble. Chewy, gross pieces of pork in the ranchero sauce that turned me off of my meal. Couldn't eat more than a few bites. My husband got one of the over the top biscuits and gravy options. Gravy was watery and flavorless. Bacon tastes more like burnt grease than bacon and made me queasy. Awkward waiting area where you sit staring at people while you wait for your table. Waitress was rude and had no smile. She seemed to only care about the regulars. Won't return. read more

Found this little gem when my dad and grandfather came to visit! I had the traditional eggs Benedict and it was sooo delicious and my eggs were cooked to perfection!! My dad got the mass confusion plate and of course I had to try and I was not disappointed, it too was delicious!! I am a huge coffee drinker and if I could get an IV Of the stuff, especially the kind of coffee they serve here I would, great coffee!!! The staff was very friendly and you get that family owned restaurant vibe that makes you feel at home!! This is definitely going to be my new go to and I will be bringing all my future visitors to enjoy this awesome breakfast joint!! read more

My wife and I had a rare day off together and opted to head out for a nice lunch together. We kept getting coupons for Stonegate Cafe, and saw it numerous times when we visited other places in this plaza, but hadn't been in until now. It was pretty small inside, only a few booths and tables, but a generous patio for seating when the weather gets nicer. It smelled like some good food was being cooked up as we sat down for lunch. The service was a little slow, but not too bad as we weren't in a terrible hurry. The server took our order on an iPad, which was kind of cool. I went for the French Dip, one of my favorites, and a dish I like to test restaurants with. I was not unhappy. The bread was crispy, but not too crispy. The beef was tender and flavorful. And the au jus was a great addition, without being salty. The french fries, often just a side note, especially for me, we're really great. My wife went the breakfast route and got quite a spread. She had french toast, which had a nice coating that was crispy, and not soggy. On the side she got hash browns, a scrambled egg, and the star of the sides: a very flavorful slice of ham. read more

Where do I even start about the HORRIBLE experience I had here. Upon walking in I noticed how dirty the floors were. I decided to give this small business a chance and now regret it more than ever. Our waitress had a very rude and demeaning attitude the entire time we spent at the table. My whole family was wondering if it was because the color of our skin. The food was average, but with how dirty the floors were up front I couldn't even imagine what the kitchen even looked like. I just can't get over the fact how no other employees acknowledged us and when our waitress finally did it was as if our money was not good enough. As a small business you should respect and earn the trust of anyone who walks through that door. I'm so disappointed in even paying my bill here. Moral of the story, treat other people with respect and you should be thankful my $138.76 bill was paid. I vote that that money should go towards paying an employee to maintain cleanliness of your franchise. read more

Well I'm mad I haven't updated my review because the new owners that took over are amazing. I think the food is even better. I'm so happy they didn't change the menu and I can get my usual. The "mass confusion" is perfect with fluffy biscuits and gravy that is the perfect consistency. I now get a side of green chili and it just pushes it over the top to delicious. The owners usually make their way around and ask how the food was and it's always a fantastic thumbs up. They also started doing to go breakfast burritos. read more

If you're looking for a local diner with good food and solid portion sizes, this is it! We tried Stonegate Cafe for the first time today. Immediately, staff was friendly and seated us quickly. The restaurant filled up quickly and there was a bit of a wait after us but staff was quick to clean tables and get customers seated. We had the corned beef hash, French toast platter and a cinnamon roll. All delicious. Our 18 month old ate everything! The owner even came by the table to introduce himself and say hi. Overall. Great experience. Friendly and attentive staff. Solid food and lots of options! read more

Me and The Hubs had breakfast here a couple of weeks ago. In a nutshell, we both liked this place and enjoyed our food. I had the Spanish Skillet (hashbrowns topped with two eggs, chorizo, onion and green pepper and smothered in green chili and cheddar). I also got charro beans for my side and added some corn tortillas. It was kind of a messy dish with the chili and my over-easy eggs, but it was tasty. I don't remember what The Hubs had, but he said it was good. The iced tea was a bit watery tasting and The Hubs said the coffee was 'just OK', but not something to keep us from coming back. read more

Service was a bit slow to get started (took 10 minute to get water) and it's a little confusing on where to go to get seated if you have never been in. They really need a sign letting you know that someone will be with you at the front. Once we ordered though we got our food pretty quick and it was really good! I'm almost embarrassed to admit that I've never eaten here before this morning. It was late brunch/lunch time and we were able to snag a table on the patio on a beautiful day which always makes me happy. I ordered lunch - Stonegate Cobb Salad and a "cup" of green chili. I love a good green chili and really enjoyed their version (just the right amount of heat) - next time I go I will order again, would be perfect on huevos rancheros or just scrambled eggs. Cobb Salad was massive, fresh and delicious - I ate till I couldn't fit another bite. My wife ordered the French toast combo that comes with 2 eggs and choice of bacon, ham, etc. She was surprised by the corn flake crunch on the French toast but quickly decided she liked it very much after the first couple of bites. Again, portion was huge! Wait staff was attentive and friendly - turns out my wife has known the young lady who was our waitress forever which was a nice bonus. At first I thought that the prices seemed a little high, then I remembered just how much I paid at iHop earlier this week for similar but sub-par food with much smaller portions. This small brunch place in Parker is tucked away in the corner of the Stonegate strip mall and has a small town feel to it. The service was very friendly and quick, and the food was decent. I had a plain waffle and the cinnamon roll so I didn't get to try the omelettes or anything special so I'll have to come back for that. The great thing about this place is the outdoor patio area, which is just as big as the inside dining room. It's not the fanciest place or serving gourmet breakfasts, but it's a step up from the grease trap chain breakfast places so I say you should give it a try! read more

We absolutely love coming here for breakfast on the weekends. They have the most amazing rellenos and eggs. We also got the French toast platter this time. We were in the Parker area for the Parade of homes and started at Stonegate Cafe. The service was great everyone is very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Cinnamonster to start, and we're pleasantly surprised that it was not over poweringly sweet. It was the perfect size to share and get excited for the rest of the meal. I ordered the Greek skillet with the Tzatziki sauce. The Tzatziki was very thick, almost like a cream cheese. I'm not sure if that's a style I'm not familiar with but I was not expecting that. The skillet was so hot I couldn't taste the food very well. It was dominated by the hashbrowns and didn't have much gyro meat. In fact I counted around 3 pieces. My husband ordered the Mazatlan burrito. It was huge which was great. Gotta love a giant breakfast burrito. His feedback was that the green chili was great. Obviously made in house, and delicious. The burrito was also heavy on the potato not much bacon inside. All in all it was passable, not bad but not worth recommending either. read more

Best breakfast in Parker by far. Omelettes and skillets are fantastic and the cinnamon rolls with icing are ridiculously good! In fact, don't get the cinnamon rolls, they might run out and that wouldn't be good. They also do a great lunch. We eat here at least once a week and it always been fantastic.
