I have been shopping at Stone Mart for years and have consistently had wonderful experiences. They always offer a beautiful selection of materials, and I have been treated professionally and respectfully. My usual salesperson, Kim, is fantastic, and I truly appreciate her knowledgeable assistance. However, during my recent visit to choose materials, Kim was off, and I was assisted by a man named Leno. I must say, in all my years in this business, I have never encountered a salesperson as immature, rude, and unprofessional as he was. I even learned that he tried to gouge me on pricing. I am baffled as to how someone like this could be hired for a sales role. So, while I highly recommend Stone Mart for their wonderful selection of materials, I advise you to steer clear of Leno. The most beautiful and large selection of unique slabs you are going to find, however; their pricing is absolutely absurdly high and you will never find anyone to help you with anything. I'm an interior designer by trade so I've been here countless times but have never actually purchased from them because no one works here to help me and their prices are double what other companies on the same block are charging for the exact same slabs. Worth a visit but I'd never recommend purchasing or dealing with them. read more

We went to look at granite for our kitchen. Place has lots of different kinds of stones. No one could be bothered to help us. They pointed us to the back ...but there were many giant rooms. We never did find the granite and left to go to a place where they could bother to point out where the granite is. We told them we could not find the granite and we're going to go somewhere else. They did not care. we wonder how they stay in business when they don't seem to be interested in selling their products. There were quite a few employees there who did not want to get up out of their chairs. We would say do not bother and go somewhere where they actually want your business. read more

Really bad customer service, they clearly weren't interested in selling to us. We were looking for countertops for our kitchen and bathroom remodel. First, it was hard to get the sales guys to even bother to come show us the warehouse. After we asked a bit strongly, he walked over with us. We picked a couple of slabs, and he said we can continue looking and he'll go get us pricing for them. He never came back. After walking the warehouse ourselves and writing down some stone names, we came back to the service desk area to find he was helping someone else. While we stood there waiting right in front of him, he didn't acknowledge us at all. Few minutes later, we got frustrated and asked if he was too busy to help us, he came over and asked us for the names of stones we picked, said, he'll call us back later and give us pricing - never called us back. The frustrating part was there was another sales rep sitting right there at the next desk, didn't bother to offer to help. We are an upper middle class family, drove up in a Lexus. Somehow, clearly they didn't think we were serious about buying or could afford their product. So we're now buying from elsewhere. This was also not the first time. Few years back we were doing our flooring and had similar experience at this store. The the sales guys and the lady that works there kept walking past us, ignoring a family clearly looking for help in the middle of their warehouse. We ended up buying our flooring from Rio Marble next door - much more friendly staff there. read more

Purchased 4 slabs, turned out one was defective. There was a 1/8 of difference in thickness. I informed them and they refused to take it back. We had no choice but to purchase 5th slab from them. Stay away. You are better off finding another company. Don't waste your time or money. read more

When I went into your store I asked for quartz, as I was not interested in Granite. I was told which room to go into and that was my guidance throughout my total experience in your store. Everything I am being told now is after the fact (and spending $10,000+) I was told that this was quartz when I purchased it. Now I am being told it's quartzite. I was never given any information on anything regarding the slab. Now I'm being told it's quartzite which I have never heard of. After the fact, I am told about the sealant. That advice did absolutely no good. Then I was told to use a different sealant... I've been trying to get a response to my email that I sent to Lino at customer service on Sunday, resent on Thursday, and follow-up again today by forwarding it to the salesperson. FYI, I was never told granites are stronger than quartzite by anyone. Like I said this is the first time I'm hearing it's Quartzite not Quartz which I asked for. As a consumer, I feel that I was misled and taken advantage of. read more

BUYERS BE WARE. STONE MART STOLE $11,242.09 FROM ME AND NEVER PROVIDED THE MATERIALS I PAID FOR. On January 14, 2023 I visited Stone Mart in person and made selections of several marble and travertine slabs. I was still verifying the amount needed with our contractor and did not complete the transaction onsite for this reason. I followed up with the sales person who helped me via email and modified the order. I am a trade / B2B customer - so I asked about a discount and was told that I needed to wire the funds to get trade pricing. I was provided wire information for a Wells Fargo account in Stone Mart's name. Then the sale person emailed me to update this information. I updated the information accordingly that was sent to me from Stone Mart's email servers and provided to me by the sales person. Our office sends the funds and it is confirmed via email. Then I contact Stone Mart to schedule a pickup and they claim to have never received the funds. They claim that their email got hacked and they don't know who was corresponding with me. They tell me this is MY ISSUE. That I need to contact my bank to file a claim, that I need to deal with it. They refuse to do anything to assist and tell me to stop bothering them. Great customer service, great way to stand behind your product and store. Really was a great use of my time to have to go file a police report. To file claims with my bank and to go to a Wells Fargo to further file a claim. Stone Mart should have dealt with the internal employee issue or theft by trickery issue or IT issue - whereby they allowed their servers to get hacked and to even have this happen in the first place. Stone Mart refused to provide me the product or to assist in any way. I am out the 11,242.09 and will never see it thanks to these shameless and irresponsible bad actors. The management would not speak to me or resolve. I will now have to file a lawsuit against them to attempt to reclaim these funds. Please do not shop here. They are an absolute nightmare and I have all the documentation to prove it. I do not want anyone else to be ripped off the way they did so to myself. The employees even said this happened on another transaction - they have not done anything to deal with this. They never contact me back. Absolute bullshit - if they got hacked or have someone internally wronging their customers, they should hold up their end of the bargain and not make the customer suffer. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Stone Mart has a huge warehouse with incredible selection catchup and huge quantities that you are not going to find anywhere else. There's also a couple of show rooms with incredible selection and samples of stone that is very rare and hard to find.The professional service that you get from the sales people And all the other employees is immaculate. Their showroom and service are fine. The 3 stars is mostly for their product EPIC Surfaces, a porcelain slab company, which they are a reseller. I purchased 3 slabs at roughly $2,000 a slab, with expectations that its durability would match its appearance, or at least be a step up from the scariness of marble. It is not. We bought the porcelain slabs for fear of using real marble due to etching and staining, etc. Big mistake. Despite every effort to treat the counter top like glass, it has come down with dozens of visible scratches. A $10 porcelain bowl nicked the side of the counter top, and took out a chip the size of a dime. The $10 bowl, perfectly fine. The $2,000 slab, damaged forever. Stay away from EPIC. They look gorgeous, but in every practical way, they are a nightmare. read more

I have never left a negative review on Yelp before but the behavior displayed by the staff Shireen was unacceptable. I walked in with my assistant to look for a limestone slab for my fireplace and was directed to Shireen. She was immediately being rude and had zero interest in helping me find a slab. She showed me around and even questioned me if I was going to take a photo of the slab. I followed up with "I didn't know I was suppose to take a picture of a label as I do not work here" and I don't even see a label which was behind the slab?. Her attitude got even worse which I then proceeded to just walk out of the facility. I don't know how a place can be in business with this type of staff. I did receive a courtesy call from Kim apologizing which is why they get a star. read more
