This review is long overdue. Pacific Shore Stone is AMAZING! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cristina, the phenomenal GM. My first visit was back in June 2023 for slabs for a kitchen remodel. I fell in love with a particular slab that of course was already sold. Cristina was so kind to take my information and let me know when more arrived. A month later she sent me pictures of the new shipment and I was back to purchase.. Since then I have been kept in contact with Cristina for slabs for a bathroom remodel. Again, she or one of her assistants, Jorge has sent me info on new arrivals. I was just there yesterday to purchase more slabs!! I have been to more slab yards than I would like to admit and I can confidently say the cost per square foot is much less than the other yards I have been too. Cristina , aside from being kind, is super knowledgeable about all the natural stones at the yard--I don't know how she keeps it all in her head because the selection is tremendous. Now that I am done with needed slabs I'm sad that I don't have a need to go thee because every single employee is great to with work. Buyer beware! Two years ago, I bought multiple slabs of a beautiful fossil stone for my bathroom. I told the salesperson that the stone was going to be used as a tub surround and in a shower. I assumed if I should not have used this stone in this application, then they would have told me. They did not. Ever since installation, pieces of the stone have been flaking off and pockets of fill have been falling out. I called the office and requested help finding someone to repair the stone and was told they don't get involved in that and did not have anyone to recommend. I would've given them one star, but they do have beautiful stone. Unfortunately, one cannot assume that they know anything about the stone they are selling, or if they do, you will be told about it. read more

They probably have a lot of business and are not taking on new customers.....atleast thats the vibe they give you. We walked in, looking for quartzite and not a single sales rep was available. The one there was on the phone, no smile, no gesture to say one minute please, completely rude. We made our way to the warehouse anyway hoping to catch someone there. The reps were few and with clients but not one of them looked our way and said we will be with you in a minute or let me get someone. They can take a minute while the client is admiring the stone, they aren't always "informing" the customer. Walked around another 5 min or so and still no one, we walked right out. There is NOTHING better than "over-the-top" customer service and that's what Melissa gave me today. I was searching for a stone that the contractor "swore" was not available. Melissa was able to locate it at a different location of Pacific Shore Stones and had it moved to her store in less that five hours. This is almost unheard of customer service.
