Celeste was awesome - so helpful and made me feel like I was progressing in a direction of decisions and also suggested options I would not have seen on my own. Manager was also awesome - he was helping the team move things and also when I was waiting in line to ask a question, I decided not to wait any longer and as I walked away he jumped in to see if he could help me. We came by late on a Friday afternoon and I love that the stone yard is accessible to the public without appointments. We were greeted upon arrival and welcomed to browse around. The stoneyard isn't expansive, but we knew exactly what we were looking for so it was easy. Once we chose the slabs we wanted quotes for, Jennifer helped with pulling the prices for each selection. We went with White Carrara Marble! They were able to hold 6x slabs for us for 7 days until we could calculate with our contractor and fabricator how much we needed! The answer to my perfect kitchen laid within owner Matt Huarte's impeccable service, Jennifer in Sun Valley's Slab Dept. for pointing me to the Calacatta of my dreams and Larry White in Sun Valley for his patience in helping me find the perfect black stone counter slabs. Big props to Alec in Las Vegas for pulling the best 4 Calacatta slabs I had the pleasure of snagging up and Arizona Tile transferred them from Las Vegas to Sun Valley without a hitch. What I appreciate about Arizona Tile was the teamwork amongst their locations, the big selections, and the reasonable pricing. My favorite aspect that sets them apart from the competition is the ability to see various slabs within the lot and they pull them without making you feel like you're bothering them. I really like how they will have the slabs pulled in advance if you tell them what time you are coming and the numbers from their very handy updated "Online Inventory" search tool. This is a huge time saver to be able to use that many slab yards do not have. I had a really hard time finding a quality slab Fabricator and they gave me their printed list of referrals. They're on the corner of San Fernando Road and Penrose. I believe the only entrance is on Penrose through a fenced area. Lots of parking spots and there's a receptionist up front when you walk in. The people inside were friendly, but let me browse around on my own. I was trying to come close to my floor tile, and trying to find an accent piece where my new shower is two inches smaller than my old tub. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything close to what I was looking for, but I'll keep them in mind for my next tile job. I was clueless as to where to start (first time ever doing a bathroom remodel) and they helped me identify where I should be looking. They were generous and easy going with the samples, and had samples of everything I wanted including grout! I loved their simulator tool online that helped me to envision what my tile would look like in my space. Compared to another place I checked out down the street where I basically had to sign a waiver just to walk in and they only had one sample out of five items I wanted. The rep we met with walked with us and talked through options between 3cm and 2cm slabs and had our backup option on standby if we changed our mind. If we ever need a new counter for a new place, they're our first stop! Showroom Incredibly attentive and patient staff who are around when you need them but give you room to breath and take in all the options. Staff was fantastic with providing samples so we could see everything in the light at home. Some stunning tile and patterns I never thought of. The communication between all parties was professional, efficient and clear. I am merely a home owner but I was treated like their largest customer. The showroom was clean with great samples and a courteous staff that welcomed and assisted us immediately. Sheri was an absolute pleasure to work with. She assisted with unbiased recommendations and the patience needed to guide a husband and wife through the first home remodel.
