We've been very happy with the materials we've ordered from this shop. Everyone has been incredibly patient and knowledgeable, answering all our questions and helping us find the best solutions for several bathroom remodel projects we're currently working on. Manny and Satin, in particular, have assisted us multiple times, and we're grateful for all their thoughtful recommendations! The quality of the materials has been excellent, and we were able to place our orders quickly and receive everything within just a couple of days. Thank you to the entire team for your outstanding support! read more

Elit Tile's return policy is meaningless if they can simply invent new restrictions after taking your money. My experience with Elit Tile began with them failing to deliver the order I paid for. I purchased 8 pieces of tile, but their vendor only shipped 6 pieces. I had to discover their mistake myself. Had I not counted the order, I would have left with an incomplete purchase. Later, they actually tried to use the cost of correcting their own shipping mistake as a reason to deny my return. After bringing the completed order home, I realized the tile did not match my existing flooring. I immediately contacted Joy Lee and requested a return while the tile was completely unused. Here's the problem: at no point before my purchase did Joy Lee tell me that returns supposedly depended on vendor approval or that orders under four boxes could not be returned. That alleged restriction was never disclosed in the store and does not appear anywhere in my sales paperwork. Only after I requested a return did Joy Lee suddenly claim that the vendor would not approve it because the order was under four boxes. That completely defeats the purpose of having a return policy. If customers are never told about these restrictions until after they pay, then they don't have the information necessary to make an informed purchasing decision. Instead of standing behind what was represented at the time of sale, Elit Tile relied on an undisclosed vendor policy that was never communicated beforehand and refused to accept responsibility. My tile was unused, my return request was made promptly, and yet I was simply told the matter was "closed." If you're considering purchasing from Elit Tile, ask for every return restriction in writing before you hand over your credit card. Otherwise, you may discover after the sale that the return policy you thought you had doesn't actually apply. read more

We are tile shopping for a kitchen remodel and this was the first store we went to. They have a parking lot and plenty of street parking. There are TONS of tile samples - so we asked for a quick tour. The gentleman we spoke to answered all of our questions about the floor tiles and gave us some options for handling the baseboard treatment. I'm glad we came! read more

I was disappointed dealing with Jorge (sales person). One of my clients purchased 3 slabs and we had one left over. I wasn't able to return a countertop slab back. Their policy says we can make a return subject to a 30% stocking fee. I was willing to pay the re-stocking fee of 30%. At longest we are able to return it before 30 days. The slabs were purchased approximately 2 weeks ago. I had plenty of time to return the slab and pay the fee. Jorge chose not to help me and seems like he did not care. I was NOT able to return the slab. They will loose me and any of my clients for future business. The only reason I have them 2 stars is because they do have beautiful material. read more

Elit Tile - Design selections - Building Supplies Near Me - North Hollywood, California

Was looking for tiles for a remodeling master bathroom with walk-in shower. Went to Elit Tile in North Hollywood and they had a great showroom displaying huge selection of different tile, quartz and other stone products. Customer service excellent, especially Satin who helped wife and I selecting beautiful coordinating tile and grout; she's very knowledgable, patient and nice. And Manny, who has those same characteristics especially in the practical installation area. Highly recommend and worth the trip. read more

Great options and service. Literally any type of tile and countertop you need or can think of, they got it.

I'm the owner of a small architecture firm here in L.A. and we've been using Elit Tile as a supplier on projects for years and years. We've even used them when renovating our home as well. They have everything we've looked for, and if they don't have it on the floor, they can get it. Samples are easy to get from them as well. Jun has been our main guy there for years, he's the best. Go there, you'll love it. read more

Gorgeous array of tiles from all over, which is why I'm giving them two stars. My boyfriend and I went into the store over two weeks ago. The sales woman we worked with never got back to us on prices without us calling and asking a second time, and when we tried again to ask about a second tile, never got back to us. The customer service is the only reason why we didn't buy from this store. It's a shame really - the prices are on the higher end, but we were willing to pay the extra money for gorgeous product. When we tried to change our sales person, we were told we had to work with the person we first talked to and put in our initial inquiries. Again, a shame. Won't be doing business here. read more

Our go to tile store since 2010 thanks to their service, competitive pricing, and friendly customer service. We have never been disappointed with our shopping experience. Most recently we had to tear out our kitchen floor unexpectedly. Tile guy advised to find something "in stock" for a quick turn around. First day I set out, I was exhausted from going from shop to shop, and the store was extremely busy when I arrived so I just called it a day. READY to go at 9AM the next day, the store was calmer and sales team well caffeinated ready to assist me. Isabella was absolutely a joy. She recalled me from the day prior, rare considering how busy they were, and asked if I needed help right when I walked through the door. I WAS SO HAPPY... told her what I was looking for and she knew in seconds the item I would like... and it was in stock. Isabella assisted me with matching the tile color options to my Silestone quartz countertops. My purchase was complete within an hour. Should have gone here first. ABSOLUTELY thankful for the service, assistance, laughs, and for working with my budget!!! Ask for Isabella if you want a professional with a smile. I apologize to the equally amazing lady who helped me briefly. She too was a gem! Master Bathroom is next and I will definitely purchase from Isabella again. read more

We found our dream porcelain slab for our kitchen remodel among Elit tile's large showroom and selection. Elizabeth helped me to coordinate with my GC and the manufacturer directly to determine slab sizes and facilitate expedited delivery. Elizabeth was very patient in helping me find a replacement solution when our original slabs were no longer available from the manufacturer. We will be coming back here to pick our our materials for our bathroom remodel. read more

We placed a small order placed for a bathroom shower stall through our contractor, but Elit Tile got almost nothing right about the order, and haven't returned my calls. It seems we've lost more than $300 due to incorrect, or too much product (about 10% of the total order cost) . 1. The order took too long to write up and finalize -- miscommunication or lack of follow up for two weeks. 2. The estimate was written up incorrectly, quantities were wrong. 3. Inconsistency of product, where some tiles were of different size. 4. The metal "jolly edge" edging isn't suitable for the tile we selected, according to the installers; they should have advised us of that. 5. The metal edging finish was also written up wrong in the order, and we had to get a replacement. 6. Grout for the floor was in the order, but this grout was suitable for the floor only, not the walls, so we had to make an extra run to the hardware store; again, the tile experts should have advised us of this. 7. Their pricing is pretty high compared to others with similar product. 8. "No returns" policy; we're stuck with several boxes of unused tile. That's a large number of issues for a very simple order, and no guidance from their supposed expertise. In no way would we recommend or work with them again. We've also advised our contractor to avoid them as well. read more

If you want someone to help you, go elsewhere. My contractor sent me to this place, and I waited patiently for help, and finally got some. Then when I said who my contractor was, they said a salesman's name, and acted like the was not there....so I left, and called Monday morning to be sure he was there, and went in. Same guy who acted like he had no idea who my contractor was, and the same guy I asked for help is the guy I had to talk to. WTF? I calmed down and asked for advise, and finally chose tile. My contractor went in later and said the sales man had no idea who I was, and I said tell him it was the woman who was there both Saturday and again on Monday morning. He remembers me now, and shows my contractor the wrong tile. I went elsewhere. read more

I was very pleased with my experience at Elit Tile .It was good to be treated with professionalism and care. Specially I would like to thank Ms. Elizabeth with handeling all my purchases. It took me one week to make a decision for my countertops , flooring and back slash. She was so patient with me and she even answered all my texts and my phone calls during her break or lunch time. She was willingness to answer all my questions, match the prices and even make a better prices than anywhere else. I was in this store for 30 minutes and no one acknowledged my existence. So I went ahead and took a seat right in front of their faces and I have been sitting here staring at this guy and his associate for 10 minutes and they have completely ignored my existence. There are a million tile stores in the area and there is nothing that makes them special...beyond their pathetic customer service...so if you enjoy being ignored and treated like you don't exist, this is the tile store for you. read more

Charged me a $120 exchange fee and on top of that their "manager" KARENA speaks with a rude and loud tone-- screaming and does not like it when you get FEED UP and talk to her the same way back. When you talk to her the same way she talks to you she screams "she doesn't want to do business with you" and screams at her workers to load it into my car and won't take my exchange. So clearly it's okay for them to talk to you like crap and you have to accept that treatment. This is not her business, and I already paid for the tiles. Judge for yourself if the headache is wort it. There are plenty of other businesses next to them that might not give you this much trouble. On top of that they gave broken tiles. read more

Elit Tile is THE BEST!!! We searched many stores for the perfect tile. Elit outdid everyone else in many ways. Unlike most locations, we were greeting upon walking in to the store. We had the pleasure of working with Nick. Not knowing too much about tiles and grouts, we told Nick the color we were interested in and the space it would be used for. Within minutes he brought us several samples. He spent so much time with us and answered our MANY questions without getting frustrated. He even answered questions we didn't know we had. Overall this was an amazing experience and so satisfying to find exactly what we had envisioned. Their service is outstanding and their prices were the best! Marco's is the man you want to see their. I bought a fair amount of tiles from them and Marco's had great opinions, style and advice. I got quotes from so many different tile stores that are like the Walmart of tiles and he was still the lowest price. Loads of samples to choose from. Marco got right to the point and found us just what we wanted at the right price. The customer service was great except Saturdays are busy. Go during the week. **Update: I'm upgrading to five stars because of the service received when I went in to pick up The backsplash tile we ordered three days prior. I got there after pick up time (be there by 4!) and Marco was able to convince the warehouse to bring my order up front. It was there within minutes, got my grout and some education about the tile, and was out the door. Excellent service deserves five stars! I highly recommend International Tile and Stone. They are knowledgeable and put customers first. Marco said he's added staff on Saturdays, so that takes care of my previous comment! read more

Don't bother stopping by at this tile store. There are much better options on the same street. We spent a considerable amount of money buying tile from these guys. They messed up one of our orders and sent us the wrong tile. When we notified them, they told us they can't get the tile we want for another month, so we decided to return the tile. They told us there would be a 25% restocking fee...on something that we didn't order in the first place and that was still in its original packaging. That's not what I call customer service. A lot of time and money spent on this place without good results. read more

I was looking for a specific tile backsplash, size and color for my kitchen . I drove down Sherman way because that street is full of tile stores and couldn't find it. After checking out 3-4 shops Finally I walk in here and not only did they have the tile I was looking for they also had a very helpful interior designer. Karina really came through, she asked if I had any pictures of the kitchen I was renovating. Brought out the tile I was looking for but also some suggestions on what she felt would compliment the granite countertops I already had installed. I ended up going with her suggestion and couldn't be any happier with the result. Thank you Karina really appreciate your help and experience. read more
