Very disappointing experience. I walked into the showroom ready to purchase fixtures, vanities, and other materials--potentially spending $15,000-$20,000. Two employees were sitting at their desks, and neither one even stood up, greeted me, or offered to help. If this is how potential customers are treated, I have no interest in doing business here. I definitely would not recommend this showroom to others. read more

I had such a wonderful experience at Modern Bathroom with the help of Michael Kaczmarek. I walked in needing to buy a vanity, not really understanding all that goes into remodeling my bathroom. Through causal conversation he guided me towards all the needed bath accessories/toilet that matched my vanity. He was very kind and not pushy at all. The whole process of my remodel was stress-free because of his help and the gorgeous products Modern Bathroom has in stock. read more

Modern Bathroom - Here's the beautiful vanity I purchased from Modern Bathroom. - Kitchen & Bath Near Me - North Hollywood, California

I would not recommend ordering anything from Modern Bathroom. Despite hesitations from prior poor reviews, I took a chance because of their pricing. Base pricing is competitive, but in-room delivery is not included. I contacted the company ahead of time, fairly confident I wouldn't be able to get a 500-pound vanity up to a second-floor bathroom myself. I was told it wouldn't be a problem and that I could add in-room delivery after purchase. After purchasing, I emailed Modern Bathroom to add in-room delivery, since I was already getting notifications from the shipping carrier to schedule delivery. They sent me a Google Doc asking me to fill in my full credit card information so they could charge the add-on. Given the obvious security risk, I asked for another way to provide payment. They gave me a phone number to call instead, and when I did, I was transferred to four different employees, none of whom knew how to process the payment. Once I finally got in touch with someone who could process the payment, I didn't hear back for two days despite following up for a status update. On the third day, I got a notification that my vanity was out for delivery and I was next on the route. Strangely, the delivery address wasn't mine. I called the carrier, Roadrunner, to confirm they wouldn't be delivering to the wrong address and to verify that in-room delivery had actually been added. The representative first said they were planning to leave it curbside at that address, per Modern Bathroom's instructions. After digging further, she found that the vanity was actually being handed off to a second carrier who would handle the in-room delivery. I called that carrier next, and they had no idea what I was talking about and weren't expecting any deliveries that day. At this point, I have no idea where my vanity is, when it will arrive, or what to do next. When I raised all of this with Modern Bathroom, they told me this was "common practice." If that's true, I have no idea why anyone would order from them. The only reason that I am giving two stars instead of 1 is because the person that I finally got in touch with to process my payment (Logan) was very kind, professional and understanding. Everyone else I spoke with has no idea what they were doing. If I ever do receive this piece, I am curious what state it is going to be in... read more

Wonderful store. Michael B., the person who helped us, has been so helpful and easy to get a hold of. I highly recommend this store!

My customer bought a faucet. We told them they only had the rough-in part, which was fine since we could install it and add the finish after the tile was done. However, we were later told the rest would arrive in 5 weeks. By then, we had already bought and installed the rough-in, so we had no choice but to wait. I ordered another faucet, but they sent me to a different location to pick it up. The showroom told me the other faucet was in another place, so I ended up driving to two locations just to complete my order. Never going back again. read more

My contractor of the house I bought 5 years ago bought all my bathroom faucets and showers in this store Modern Bathroom. I since then lost the receipts he gave me: My jacuzzi faucet broke and we went looking for this place. I was almost hopeless till my contractor said, try and google this store up and maybe see what they can do. Fortunately, I found them still open ( not too many businesses survived the COVID pandemic) . I asked them about my faucet. They looked me up in the system and voila! I was still in the system... they ordered the faucet and my partner fixed it for me. I could not believe the amazing service that this business has! I'm so thankful! I will definitely buy all of my kitchen and bathroom stuff from this place from now on! Parking was free and ample too! And the service was amazing! Very helpful! read more

I bought my fixtures at Modern Bathroom when I had my master bathroom re-modeled a few years ago. They were wonderful to work with. Fast forward a few years to later to present day when I had issues with my faucet. I had a leak in one of my bathroom sink. Had to replace the cold faucet handle. Michael at Modern Bathroom helped me to make sure that it was still Under warranty and contacted Santec Company and ordered me the handle at no cost. Thank you, Michael and Thank you Modern Bathroom. read more

Modern Bathroom has a great selection of products but what really makes them special is the customer service. We worked with William Ward, he has such an excellent knowledge of all the products and gave great input. He took his time in showing and explaining our faucet questions. Michael Kaczmarek offered his pleasant immediate assistance when we entered the showroom and then gave us the time and space we needed to browse before being ready for assistance. When we were ready for help he listened carefully to what we were looking for before providing his efficient and very knowledgeable assistance. Since we are remodeling a kitchen and 2 bathrooms there were a lot of things to consider in selecting vanities, a tub, kitchen sink and a number of other products. He was very patient and made helpful suggestions. We were very pleased with the selection of high quality products and it was wonderful to be able to feel the materials, try the drawers in the vanities and see the actual colors. We believe that the prices were a good value given the quality of the materials and free shipping. Thank you, Michael Kaczmarek, and Modern Bathroom for a great experience! read more

Richard gave me a smoking deal on three tubs for my client. I'm a realtor in LA and I tell all of my clients to only shop at the best when renovating. You want a luxurious bathing experience you say? They have the longest tubs in town! Well just stick a toe in and go deep with a Epsom salt filled dream of bubbly bliss. They have every knob and throne in the Valley, they even have the exclusive brass, black and chrome knurled handles. Adorn your doors and floors with the hottest vanities, mirrors and sinks for the drinks. The discount area is it's best kept secret. Create your dream bath and tile it to the ceiling. Use quality trims and lights that dim to showcase these precious porcelain pedestals. Slip on over and don't forget to eyeball the dings and things in the back Jack. Don't forget the soap box! read more

Went to A LOT of places. Exhausting. Complete bathroom remodel. Wanted it to look really nice without breaking bank. I also wanted quality. More than anything, I needed a place with a variety of quality selections, and a customer service rep that was going to take a genuine interest. Someone that would listen to me, understand what I wanted, and explain to me what worked and what didnt within my scope and budget. I found that at Modern Bathroom and specifically in sales consultant Mike Kaczmarek. Mike guided (and educated) me through the entire process of vanities, sizes, colors, shower systems, etc. Also of note, my contractor had accounts at other places (not Modern Bathroom) so I felt obligated to go to those places as well for the discount. At the end of the day, I met a lot of people that were not willing to invest in my needs and that made me really want to give all my business to Mike and Modern Bathroom. And the cherry on top is that they were able to match the contractor discounted price! Just wanted to share this for those who appreciate good customer service, quality products and very fair prices. read more

Many times you order products via telephone and no attempt is made to build a relationship. Not my experience with Mike Kaczmarek. Mike sent me product information via email, answered all my questions, and stayed with me through purchasing, tracking my order, and delivery. We spoke over the phone and communicated via email. I made my choice to buy from Mike after our first encounter. I could have purchased the product from multiple vendors, but Mike stopped my shopping and earned my order. In September we bought the Hydro Systems Regan 6632 Tub with Whirlpool and accessories in order #30075385 from ModernBathroom.com. It was delivered on a wooden pallet by forklift and our contractors installed the tub on November 27, 2024. When they tested the tub they found 3 seals were leaking in the piping inside the tub. I immediately informed ModernBathroom.com. After that there were several very frustrating weeks of sending and resending video and pics of the leaks and retelling the issues several times until finally a plumber was sent on January 10, 2025. The plumber that ModernBathroom.com sent did not test the tub himself. He simply looked at the video and put on a new gasket or washer and resealed with silicone and told us he couldn't test it after either due to the silicone needing to dry for 48 hours. We then rescheduled our installers on January 28, 2025 who came out and began working and tested the tub and they found two NEW leaks. One from the motor and one in what looks like the body of the tub itself. We reached out yet again to ModernBathroom.com who asked us to send the pics and video yet again. At this point we stated we did not want any more failed attempts at repair and could we just get a refund and we need to be reimbursed for removing the tub. It was at that point they stopped responding to calls or voicemail. We have since bought a replacement tub and have rescheduled our contractors YET AGAIN. This kind of customer service and quality of product reflects terribly not only on ModernBathroom.com but also on Hydro Systems. read more

When we arrived at modern bathroom, we were greeted by both Richard and Michael. We explained what we needed and were shown a large selection of vanity's in our size. After selecting vanity's we wanted a different knob and these were happily exchanged. Vanities were delivered to our address in perfect condition. Had them installed and they look great. What a perfect, pleasant experience, and well within our budget. Thanks read more

I purchased four brand new bathtubs, and two of them were defective and leaking. When I requested replacements, the store refused. If you want to avoid wasting money on defective products and costly installation, stay away from this store. The items they sell are either faulty or of very low quality. Reply to business manager: It doesn't matter whether the defective tubs are returned with or without the box; you should dispose of the defective items. Your insistence on receiving the box gives the impression that you intend to cover up the issue and resell the products to another unaware customer. The way you conduct business is completely wrong and amounts to fraud. read more

I purchased 2 James Martin vanities from Modern Bathroom in July of 2024, and I have had them installed now for a few months. I couldn't be happier. First of all they are beautiful, but also they were a great price compared to what I could have received them for online. I worked with Michael K and he is beyond stellar. After installation I had a problem with one of the pieces and he took great care in rectifying the problem. Five stars all around. read more

I had ordered two vanities online from modern bathroom worth about $2200. I also ordered two sidesplash from them for about $200 total. Unfortunately, the sidesplash did not fit and i will have to return the item. Buyers beware of their return policy. They charge 20% restocking, an unknown amount for shipping ( the shipping was free/included in the price) and I have to ship the item back. So folks get pennies on the $. I have dealt with amazon, build.com, vintagetub, etc. and these guys have the worst return policy of all. Also their return policy online is not clear. read more

I never thought I would find the perfect bathroom vanity, until I decided to walk in Modern Bathroom. What an amazing showroom and not to mention the friendly & very knowledgeable staff. I was exhausted and was going to give up after visiting at least 50 different showrooms/stores. Then one day on my way home I saw Modern Bathroom and decided to make one last attempt. Michael Kaczmarek approached me and asked me what was I looking for - told him I had been looking for the perfect vanity for months and hoping this would be my last stop. To my surprise and no doubt with the help from Michael I FINALLY found my perfect vanity. I knew the vanity would take some time to receive, but it is worth the time. Michael kept me updated on the delivery date, which will be next week. Can't wait to receive and install. I definitely recommend Modern Bathroom to anyone looking for quality furniture. The products they sell were fine. The delivery and customer support is totally unacceptable. Their delivery process is to set your order in the street in front of the house. They don't deny this. That may work for smaller orders, but does not work for large heavy boxes stacked on top of each other. Also the customer service representative (Rob Vard) will not return calls. No follow up call or email. Nothing but crickets after delivery. read more

My sister was searching for a Toto one-piece toilet as her husband had a stroke in January. To take care of his personal needs we were interested in investing in a Toto bidet/toilet, which are top of the line and quite pricey. Luckily we got in contact with Richard Veranian, who is an exemplary employee and a credit to Modern Bathroom. He was incredibly patient and knowledgable, answering every question I had, even the most mundane and goofy ones. He was very understanding that an investment of $5K (x two) for Toto toilets was going to be quite an expense.
