This was our second time using simpleFLOORS, this time under the new owner, Jose. This was a much larger job than our first one, and Jose made it easy, efficient and pleasant every step of the way. He thoughtfully worked to accommodate our budget and the installation was done beautifully. His communication was always timely which was so incredibly helpful since we were balancing multiple contractors. Highly recommend! read more

This was my first big project and my first home, and Simple Floors made it a joy from start to finish. Jose understood exactly what I wanted and was incredibly patient. His team was skilled, kind, helpful beyond the flooring itself, and always polite, clean, and professional. They were responsive, fast, and came up with creative solutions for every curveball. They made me feel like family -the kind that actually shows up and helps you move furniture, not the kind that just eats at the barbecue. If I ever need floors again, I'm calling them first... and if I don't, I might just spill something on purpose. read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Simple Flooring LA. From the moment the project began to the very last sweep of cleanup, the entire experience was exceptional. Jose, the owner, runs his business with integrity, professionalism, and genuine pride in his work. It shows in every detail of the finished floors. I was especially fortunate to have Tony, Eduardo, and Moises working on my home from start to finish. These three men were an absolute pleasure to see every single day. They were professional, respectful, and incredibly clean throughout the entire process. They took great care of my home, communicated clearly, and treated the project as if it were their own. Their craftsmanship is truly beautiful. My hardwood floors look better than I ever imagined. The quality of the work speaks for itself, but what made the experience even better was the kindness and dedication of everyone involved. If you want a company that delivers excellent work with exceptional professionalism, Simple Flooring LA is the one to choose. I am grateful for the care and effort they put into my home and I will recommend them to everyone I know. read more

We purchased a house that needed some updates and our realtor had recommended SimpleFloors for their fair pricing and installation. We did our due diligence and shopped other flooring stores to compare and they were definitely more competitive in selection and price. Jose was super knowledgeable and approachable during his site visit and explained all the options for floor installation and pricing. We ended up leveling some of the rooms with concrete and doing a partial glue-down/nail-down installation. Jose's team, Tony and Moises, were very professional, friendly and easy to communicate with. The finished floors and baseboards look AMAZING and the floorboards haven't squeaked once. Clear communication, transparency, and craftsmanship are three words I can describe simpleFloors. Can't say enough positive things about this place! read more

simpleFLOORS - Floors might look a little dirty as we've just moved in and are constantly unpacking, but they are beautiful!! - Flooring Near Me - North Hollywood, California

This is my second flooring installation with SimpleFLOORS. My first installation was amazing and this time, they were able to do it again. They offer an amazing selection of Hard Floor Covering, Baseboards, and Door Frames to begin with. The pricing is detailed and transparent on both, the per foot material, installation, and disposal which to my surprise was identical to what I was charged 4 years ago. I cannot thanks the owner Jose enough for the great support and constant follow-up at every stage. The installation led by Tony and Moises was fantastic, more importantly, the attention to the little details and the recommendation were priceless. A very big thank you the the entire team. read more

José worked with us to find the perfect flooring for our new home. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I rarely write a review because It's not very often that I am completely happy with most companies or places I visit but in this case I had to write this review for Jose and simpleFloors. We worked with a few companies and received (3) estimates and listened to all they had to say. In the end we chose simpleFloors and I am so happy we did ! All of our bids we within 5% of each other so it really came down to the quality of the flooring and the installation techniques that each company talked about. We were dreading our house being torn up for weeks and all that goes along with that. We were not thrilled about having a crew of guys we don't know working in our rooms of our house every day.... but all of our worries disappeared the first day that Jose came along with his installation crew. Professional and courteous and friendly all come to mind from start to finish. His crew showed up every day on time and cleaned up after their work every single day. These guys worked so well together and completed our job of over 3k square feet of flooring in (6) days and the quality of the installation was absolutely incredible. From the care they took to remove and replace our based boards to the time and detail they put into caulking every seam... we are so happy with Jose and simpleFloors that I am telling anyone I know who needs flooring that they HAVE to use Jose ! Thank you Jose - we are so pleased with you and your team and I want to thank you for treating us and our home like it was your family. Sincerely, B. Verdi read more

I am so glad I found Danny, simpleFLOORS, and installer Jose! Danny was knowledgable and engaged from the start, and steered me towards a product he felt would work for me (even though it was not the most expensive). Danny was also able to offer me a great installation package with Jose right up front, and an excellent warranty. Jose and his crew were top-tier! They gave me an accurate quote, stuck to the schedule, and even showed up on Sunday to get the job done when we needed to break mid-week. Jose was meticulous in his approach to installation, making sure I understood decisions around issues like trim pieces. He and his crew were also skilled at handling unforeseen issues like an old floor heater. We are in love with the final product! read more

My wife and I wanted to change the color of our hardwood floors as they were very dark, but we had sanded them down as far as they could go as we were down to the nails. Our only option was to get new flooring. We had ordered our kitchen flooring 12 years ago from Danny at Simple Floors and decided to go back as we appreciated his selection of flooring, great pricing, customer service and advice! Once again, Danny helped us pick out the right product for our home and he worked within our budget to get us great looking floors! Danny lets you take home samples and was kind enough to stop by our home to confirm our choice of flooring. It's scary picking out flooring as it is a big expense, and we didn't want to get it wrong. So happy for Danny's thoughts and blessing regarding the flooring we had picked out. The floors look amazing! So much brighter and modern looking! Danny referred us to Oscar at A1 Carpet and Flooring for our installation and his team was fantastic. Very clean, professional, friendly and hard-working. We couldn't ask for a better experience than Danny at Simple Floors and Oscar at A1! We will be back when we move into our forever home! read more

I shopped around at all the big box flooring companies and ended up a bit confused and frustrated. The moment I walked in and chatted with Danny, I knew it was totally different. He didn't feel like he had some "sales guy" agenda, but rather was just there to get me exactly what I was hoping for. After I made my decision and ordered, Danny was nothing short of phenomenal. He was so kind in helping me get some transitional pieces I had forgotten about without any trouble at all. Recommending a flooring store feels unlikely, but I have actually gone out of my way to recommend SimpleFloors to three other people the second they mentioned liking my floors. Skip any other guys and come straight to SimpleFloors, you won't regret it. The "LifeProof" flooring he hooked me up with was even something I could install myself, plus has already withstood some dings Im sure would damage other floors. read more

Got flooring from SimpleFloors North Hollywood and I could not have had a better experience. I looked at many places and selected them even though they were in the valley. We bought vinyl plank waterproof flooring for one of our properties and it looks amazing. Danny, the owner, was great. It took a while to decide on what we wanted and he was patient and helpful. It's tough to look at floors in a showroom and picture it in your home. Him letting us take samples home was a game changer. I couldn't be happier with the experience. The price was great (within budget), service was great and the installation was fast...which was key to me! The installers are professional and once again, fast! A great job, once again! Danny at Simple Floors worked with us, came up with solutions as well as multiple options to make this happen. We had used Danny in the past for our living room, and this time we needed to do the bedroom. More complicated job since the floors were lower due to the carpet, but Jose (Dannys in house installer) came up with a quicker and better solution in our case (instead of using cork at $2.29sqft which would double our materials expense, they used self leveling concrete to level it off). We were extremely pleased with the result. This is our go to spot for anything floor related! Jose also finished of our baseboards and did an amazing job for a bargain price! Highly recommend! read more

I went to many flooring retailers before finding simple floors. I was looking for vinyl plank flooring in a white oak style. Danny curates his collection and in my opinion has the best products and styles and lots of them. He is also very knowledgeable about the products he stocks. He was referred to me by a friend who has work with him many times. Danny works with local suppliers and was able to get my flooring delivered very quickly. read more

Danny at Simplefloors was referred to us by a family friend. Danny works with a few installers and manages much of the customer experience when buying new floors. Our floors were originally installed in 2021 and everything was perfect. Over time the floor began to cup, and the installer (Jeff with GOT YOU FLOORED) came out for a warranty repair. Long story short, the manufacturer changed installation requirements that did not align with the original installation issue, which led to an inspector blaming the installation as the reason for our issues. From my perspective the manufacturer pulled a fast one and left Danny and Jeff to deal with an unhappy customer (Me). While this sounds like a terrible business practice on behalf of the manufacturer, Danny and Jeff ultimately made things right and honored their warranty, knowing it was a manufacturer issue that they would not rectify. It is hard to find someone you can trust when it comes to home renovation work, but Danny, Jeff and their teams are responsive, punctual, and most importantly they do a great job. Danny helped coordinate new materials, and Jeff and his team were in and out in less than 3 days completing the reinstallation, and it looks even better than before. Thank you, Danny! read more

Danny was nothing shy of amazing. We had our floors redone a year ago and they were installed incorrectly leaving us to completely redo them a few weeks ago. Thank you Danny for making this process go so smoothly and quick. read more

My wife and I were having a VERY hard time nailing down a floor for our new house. The selections appeared overwhelming and the contractors we talked to only had sparse samples. Everything changed when, by luck, we walked into the simpleFloors showroom where every option was right there in large form factor sample sheets and immaculately organized. They were able to clearly explain the differences between the products and help us pick out what was right for us. We were able to narrow it down to just two and they even let us borrow the samples to see them in our house to help decide! Ordering and delivering the flooring was a breeze and when it turned out we needed an extra stair nose, Danny went above and beyond to find a replacement for us. While we would happily pay a premium for this level of service and selection, the floors we received were actually much cheaper than the other offerings we found. Definitely would recommend to anyone. read more

Can't say enough good about simpleFLOORS. Prices can't be beat, and comes with an unmatched degree of professionalism and reliability. Late to leave a review, we had our floors installed Aug. 2020. Danny made the stressful process of selecting floors, underlayment and working with our condo HOA very easy. He is extremely knowledgeable, easy to work with, and has too notch products to choose from. When we were looking, we went to every flooring retailer possible, but once we found SimpleFloors we knew we had finally made the right decision! Danny's options and materials were better quality than everywhere else we went. Plus, the install process was well done and easy. Also, the prices beat out most places too! Would recommend Danny and SimpleFloors to anyone looking to install flooring! We couldn't be happier with the process, decision, and final results! We purchased a home during the pandemic and had a hard time finding the right floor material and installers. Still unsatisfied with the options we had after shopping around, I found simpleFloors on yelp and immidiatley loved a wide range of SPC floors Danny carried at his store. We went in there that day, Danny was so great, gave honest opinions and also some design advice for our stairs. He also let us borrow his samples for a few days and we picked out the one we liked. Jose and Tony came to install the floor and they did a fantastic job! Look at my stairs, I'm in love. They leveled every single step to make sure it was installed correctly. The floor totally made the home feel much brighter. I can't thank Danny, Jose and Tony enough! I would totally recommend simpleFloors. They carry laminate and solid wood too! read more

We just bought a new home and needed to replace the disgusting green (yes, green!) carpet that was throughout the house. We weren't sure if we were going to use hardwood or laminate. Actually, I was pretty sure I wouldn't find a laminate that I liked. We went to several flooring places and found the best service and the absolute best prices at Simple Floors. We worked with Danny to pick out the most amazing laminate I've ever seen and it was a fraction of the cost of the hardwood. Durability was a huge factor for us- we had hardwood in our old house and it was hard to keep nice with our two dogs. The laminate we chose is very durable and it looks amazing! We've had several contractors in our home since we've installed it and every single one is shocked when we tell them it's laminate. We chose Oasis laminate in the color "Straws" and couldn't be happier! Laminate these days has come so far from the ugly, thin and shiny pergo floors that you think of when you think of laminate. These floors from Simple Floors are thick, textured and BEAUTIFUL. Vic was our installer and he was incredible. He and his crew were efficient and thorough. Also, the whole entire process (buying the floors and the install) was SO unbelievably affordable. They came in at less than half of some of the other quotes we received and the service was awesome. So thankful we found simple floors and we highly recommend them! read more

Definitely recommend this local business! My boyfriend and I had just bought a townhouse in the nearby neighborhood and were looking to get the floors redone when we found simpleFLOORS on Yelp and we are so glad we found this place. It's a somewhat smaller shop than some of the nearby flooring places, but I think that's the magic of it. It's not super overwhelming. Their options are displayed in a very pleasing way making it easy to navigate type and colors. Prices were also reasonable. Then there is Danny, who is the owner of this shop. He is absolutely amazing! He gives his honest opinion, he's straight forward, very knowledgeable professional and friendly. He is also very reliable, he answers any questions in a timely manner. We ended up purchasing flooring from him and he was able to place the order that day and it was delivered pretty quickly. Overall, such great experience especially for first time home buyers. Highly recommend. read more
