Reached out to several companies for an estimate to repair damaged hardwood from a leaking refrigerator. Most replied with their minimum spend and were obviously only interested in taking on gigs with major renovations. Lorenzo was quick to respond and more than willing to assist, no matter how small the project. He listened and provided options. I was impressed and decided to go ahead and replace our bedroom carpet as well. Wilmer was onsite and was a magician. He was able to repair the hardwood damage seamlessly! Friendly, hardworking, communicative and prompt. Carpet was also installed with new baseboards the same day. Highly recommend for their quality work!

I cannot begin to describe how AMAZING Steve and Beatriz were when it came to my flooring project …read more We needed a flooring installation done in our high rise condominium with an HOA. Our HOA required very stringent paperwork, insurance, etc from the contractor. After going through the nightmare of several other contractors -- one who promised they met the requirements but ended up not doing so, one who just decided midway through that they didn't want the job anymore, and one who did not send in any requested paperwork days before the HOA deadline, we made a call to Alvarez Flooring who LITERALLY SAVED THE DAY. When I explain the project to Steve, he had the paperwork sent within the day insurance was available, the contract signed, and invoice sent - this was all within 48 hours of our first conversation on the phone . He and Beatriz maintained incredible communication throughout the entire process. He was available to install the flooring the moment that we were allowed to, and he sent photo updates as the flooring was being installed. One example of his incredible integrity is that I had purchased a specific underlayment to put under the flooring, but for some reason the manufacture wants you to install it upside down from the usual configuration. When I noticed this and notified Steve, he verified and owned up to the issue and redid the underlayment completely, making sure that the job is done right. Our HOA required plastic covering of the entire hallway and elevator. -- Steve and Beatriz followed this rule, and made sure that we would not be liable from the HOA for making the common area dirty. We have worked with many contractors in the past for various remodel jobs, including multiple flooring jobs. I have never met anybody who is as communicative , honest, punctual, responsible, and just genuinely kind as Steve and Beatriz . They have won a lifelong fan. And if anybody I know ever needs flooring redone, I am referring them to Alvarez Flooring.

We got quotes from a few vendors, and Harry from ASAP Flooring was outstanding from the very first call. He was professional, super clear, and responded quickly every time. Their price was the best by far, and they estimated the whole job would take 4 to 5 days max. That was huge for us with two young kids, because any disruption throws the whole household off. We ended up going bigger and did three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and the stairs. The crew was amazing: efficient, fast, courteous, and clearly very skilled. The finished work looks incredible and far exceeded what I expected. And they finished the entire job in just three days! I almost never rave about contractors, but these guys are the real deal. I've already told my neighbor all about them. If you want luxury vinyl done right, on time, and with zero stress, call ASAP Flooring. You will not be disappointed!

The attention to detail that him and his guys have is pretty amazing. Our tile was not easy to work with. With a handmade tile like Zellige, providing mitered corners and picking the right pieces takes skill. Overall we are VERY happy with his work and would highly recommend. We will definitely use for future projects.

Isaac also referred us to an excellent electrician, painter, and stairs railing glass maker (not yet installed) and so far it's been working perfectly.
