Celina at the client pick -up the worst costumer service ever. She shouldn't be working there PERIOD. SHE SHOULD Call the manager or supervisor if she's having problems with a costumer instead of arguing with the costumer. I was there for more than an hour waiting and she got upset just because I decided that 1 and half of waiting was enough. Than when she lied to the manager/supervisor Saying that I was spitting and making treats at her. THAT A LIE. she a liar. Because of hero would never recommend this place to any of the contractors that I know and clients read more

Buyer Beware I purchased quartzite countertop from Walker Zanger in Port Chester NY a year and half ago. I went to buy quartz but was up sold on the quartzite on the promise that I can put hot things directly from the oven or stovetop on it with no concern. There was a major difference in price. I recently put a pot of soup on it and it cracked. When I called the store I was given a run around until finally I got to the general manager Luis Vivas who would take no responsibility at all for the failure. Look elsewhere for countertop stone. These people lie and don't stand behind their product. read more

I'm doing a complete house renovation, so I'm looking for tiles and slabs for several rooms. I was not expecting to have a great experience here because the reception felt a little cold at Ann Sacks, so I was expecting something similar. I was very surprised to see how friendly and welcoming everyone was, starting with the greeting at the front desk. We were paired to work with Carrie Scott, and I feel really lucky that we ended up with her. Her creativity and vision is beyond what I have encountered with the folks I've worked with at other stores. The store has incredible selection, and it would be easy to blow the entire renovation budget on the most high end options they stock. However, Carrie has done an amazing job of helping me achieve the look I want while staying within my budget. She has been so professional and attentive to the point -- she even called me two weeks after our last appointment to share new information she had about a product I was interested in. I wasn't sure I would love Walker Zanger, but I was so impressed by both the tile selection (lots of interesting stuff you don't see elsewhere) and my experience working with Carrie that I will be sure to return for future projects. read more

We have been working with Walker Zanger for 15+ years sourcing products for our projects (Interior Design) and return on the regular because of the great product selection and service. We always find inspiration just walking into the door of the beautiful showroom. Big shout out to our sales rep Edith who makes our jobs, our contractor's jobs and our client's lives easier with her super prompt response and problem solving! She goes above and beyond. We are grateful! R Johnston Interiors read more

Walker Zanger is a wonder company to deal with. No pushing, taking our time so we could decide what tiles we needed. We also a bought 3 large slabs of quartzite. The prices were competitive but the Lucia went out of her way to help us out. She ( and all the others)'were outstanding. Thank you read more

I used Walker Zanger for the shower wall tile and shower floor stone for two showers and they look fantastic! I am receiving very positive feedback and I am very happy with the final product which is exactly what I had envisioned. I was helped throughout the process by Edith Garcia who is highly knowledgeable but more importantly a wonderful person. I know that I am not a big customer, but Edith always treated me like one. read more

The service we received from her was as always very personal and impeccable - the products at Walker Zanger have always been top quality - highly recommended. read more

If you ever need beautiful, well made, awesome tile and a wonderful designer to help you through the process, Carrie Scott from Walker Zanger is your gal! She's patient, has a great eye, and really knows the Walker Zanger line. She is currently helping me design three bathrooms which is a task in itself. HAVE MERCY!!!! Prior to Carrie, I worked with Rachel Liang who is also a gem! I've done more than one house with Walker Zanger and simply love them. While we really like what the tile looked like, this entire experience has been APPALLING working with them. The management seems not to care about their customers' experience, and while the reps are friendly, the mistakes are numerous. 1) The color lots were not consistent and the bullnose of the same color was SO different from the field tile that (after their rep came to observe and agree that the degree of difference was too extreme) our contractors had to rip them out and do it over. 2) We have been trying to talk with them for WEEKS about the process for them to pay for the work to redo the wrong colored bullnose and have wasted so much time calling, emailing and tracking the right person down. 3) Earlier, in a totally different frustration, they sent us the wrong size bullnose from what we requested. Promised to send the right ones out the next day. Didn't send them for THREE days, and delayed the work. There are many more things too -but in short, it takes forever to get to an answer. There have been so many mistakes and problems with quality control and communication - while the tiles LOOK lovely, I am really doubting I will want to go through this again for the next big phase of our renovation in our kitchen and bathroom. The problems are just too many, one after another. And it shouldn't take WEEKS to get the technical director to reply to us! read more

Worst experience! I returned some tile to them, and now, more than 4 months later, still have not received a refund on thousands of dollars. Everything has been bungled. I also ordered different tile from them--just delivered--and the colors are quite a bit different from the sample. I am considering returning this, but just cannot go through this again. This company is not reliable and possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. read more

We needed to redo our kitchen because of water damage and decided to change the entire look. After many months of work, we needed to finish our project by picking out a backsplash that complemented and upgraded our entire look. We went with Walker Zanger. After shopping around, no other place had nicer, more beautiful, finished products than they did. Other places looked like unfinished copies of their products. Carrie was a great help. She cared about our needs and ultimately found us the design that once installed will be the talk of the neighborhood. I would highly recommend WZ and Carrie if you want to go with a company/product that you will have no regrets about for years to come. read more

My friend told me about Walker Zanger, said I should check out their website to get ideas on remodeling my kitchen. I've been to several other stores and wasn't getting the help that I needed. I went on Walker Zanger website and decided to go into their showroom in North Hills to check out their selection last weekend. Upon arrival I was greeted by a very knowledgeable sales Woman by the name of Araceli. She showed me several different options of tiles, granite etc... and was very patient in helping me figure out what would be best for my taste. I am thankful for her willingness to help & her attention to detail. I am definitely going to recommend her to all of my friends and if you're in the market to remodel you should definitely go see Araceli. read more

Please be very careful with the contractors they recommend. The sales person that helped me, Edith Garcia recommended me Mastro tile and stone, they not only made a mistake with the measurement of the counter that cost me an extra $1,600, but after the demolition they went to do another job and did not come back leaving me without a kitchen for almost four weeks. After me trying to get the store manager Ann Peters to help me with the situation without success, my son called her and received no help from her either read more

I had been searching for stone for my kitchen countertops the whole summer, and as soon as I walked into Walker Zanger, I was greeted by a super friendly and knowledgeable associate, Edith Garcia. She was the first one of many I had visited in other stores to give me a lot of different options, even options I had not thought about. I ended up purchasing one of the options she showed me, quartzite, and I absolutely love my new countertops! Edith was not only friendly and knowledgeable, but also very helpful at every step of the way - I highly recommend WZ and Edith and will be going back to her when it's time for my next project! THANK YOU! read more

I love this store I remodeled 3 of my 5 homes and all 3 times I've purchased my tile and slabs from Walker Zanger they have a great selection. Ask for John great salesperson. I am currently doing a renovation on my 1930s Spanish Mediterranean home, keeping the original style of the house in mind. Sheryl, our sales and design consultant at Walker Zanger, found the most beautiful handmade Spanish tiles in one of their lines which worked perfectly for my project. They are stunning ... deep, rich color, with subtle variation, both in hue and texture. (Walker Zanger's show room is quite a sight to behold, filled with samples of so many beautiful tiles and stone, it's almost overwhelming to imagine all of the possibilities.) As has often been the case with SO many things during Covid, there was a bit of an issue at the factory. However, Sheryl was there at every turn, resolving everything and making my experience with Walker Zanger very enjoyable. In fact, when I decided to add some additional tile to my fireplace, Sheryl spent over an hour with me in their warehouse individually picking out tiles from several boxes to make sure I had the perfect blend of color variation to work with my pre-existing tile. To say she went above and beyond is an understatement; and, she certainly knows her stuff. I'm grateful to Walker Zanger and, especially, to Sheryl, for making such a huge contribution to the success of my renovation read more

I stopped by Walker Zanger today 10/27/16, as I am currently remodeling a kitchen, and was taken back the by kindness that the staff showed me. I was offered refreshments and got a nice hefty bag full of samples to show my wife. I will definitely consider Walker Zanger on my future projects. Henry was especially helpful and if you stop by you should for ask for him. read more

I had been looking for stone for my kitchen counter tops for quite some time, and went to many stone yards in the San Fernando Valley. Walker Zanger had a wonderful selection, however what made the experience so great was working with sales associate Edith Garcia. She couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She let me know when they were receiving a large shipment of the stone I wanted & was so patient, going above and beyond in helping us. read more

We were doing a small remodel on our kitchen and we bought our flooring materials from Walker Zanger. We worked with Edith who could not have been more helpful. She was beyond knowledgeable and went out of her way to answer all of our questions. We picked up the materials from the warehouse and it was set aside and ready for pick up when we got there. Our experience here was smooth from start to finish. I will definitely be returning for my next project. read more

I am doing a complete remodel and Walker Zanger was extremely helpful in helping me decide on marbles and mosaics for kitchen, bar and four bathrooms. The showroom had wonderful displays and their selection of marble slabs was extraordinary. I shopped many stone places and this was by far the best selection and with Edith's expert advise, I was able to create exactly what I had in mind. The mosaic I used on a wall and inside open cabinets is incredible. Worth the drive. read more

This place is the worst, it takes so long to pick up materials even if you call ahead of time and it takes even longer to return material.

I love this beautiful showroom! One of my first choices when selecting tile for clients. They have a great selection of ceramic, porcelain, glass, stone and even cement tile. They also have an amazing selection of slabs. Very helpful staff and always willing to accommodate my need for samples. If you're looking for something special, check them out. read more

At WZ I found a wide range of gorgeous slabs which made my decision difficult. I visited the showroom many times, and each time I was greeted by friendly, professional, and patient sales people. They explained the differences between all the materials and helped me narrow down my design choice. I am very grateful for their assistance in making this big purchase and I couldn't be happier with my exquisite countertops. read more

This is the only store I will ever buy tiles from ever again! Talk about class act customer service! They were amazing through the entire process but the best part of it all is that they warranty their tiles. I redid my entire pool and of course wanted the best tile possible which was a hand cut glass tile which was just south of $70 a square foot. Six months later I had an issue with the tile and there was a question about who was going to take responsibility (the manufacturer, the pool man or Walker Zanger) and guess who stepped up to the plate and paid to fix it! Yep Walker Zanger! You might be able to save a buck by going to a discount tile place (although in my case Walker Zanger had the best price) but in the long run I would advise against it because WZ stands behind their products 100%. I can't say enough good things about this company except if you want some piece of mind make sure you buy through Walker Zanger. read more

Having completed a remodel and lived with for a while I am now able to give honest reviews of some vendors. It was a pleasure to work with Walker Zanger for well-priced tile in their store on Melrose Avenue. However, although nice service at their stone yard, the stone they sold me is total crap. When the stone guy came to do to the work I was told I was sold "sugar" stone. That is white marble that is so crappy it will crumble like sugar during fabrication or later. I didn't buy this inexpensively so I'm pissed. I have now lived with it for 2+ years and sure enough it's starting to crumble. I am sure that I will need to replace it within 5 years. Not only will it require the expense of new stone for two full bathrooms, but the most expensive part can be fabrication of the new stone. I would not purchase stone from Walker Zanger ever again. I'm giving 2 stars for the Melrose staff is nice, but stone staff is clearly not to be trusted. read more
