I purchased a house that is wall to wall tile. The tile was an ugly brown color with blackish grout. I recently had porcelain tiles installed in my house. There was a film caked on all the tiles that would not come off easily. The film was apparently from the manufacturer to protect the tiles. It was very, very, very DIFFICULT to remove! I tried to remove it with vinegar, water, soap and cheesecloth with not much luck. I called Stone Kleaner and Frank came over, took a look at it and tried to remove the film. He didn't have much luck either. Then, he thought of something that would work. I was referred to Frank by two independent flooring contractors to perform an in depth flooring inspection. Both contractors praised Frank for the quaility flooring inspections he does and stressed that he is a Certified inspector which was exactly what I needed. I was told he was highly respected in this field and that he has an extensive and rather impressive list of credentials. I met with Frank and he spent a couple hours at my house getting down on my floor with an instrument making detailed measurements and taking photos of flaws of a poorly laid tile floor by a flooring company that had done a horrendous job. Frank then presented me with an excellent highly detailed report with photos attached. His report impressed the judge so much that I won the case in Small Claims Court. They began by meticulously masking all the kitchen cabinets and base board to protect them.
