An incredible dining experience, I really enjoyed the triple dip. I wish I got the recipe for the Brussel Sprout dip it was incredible. I did the veggie gnocchi with blackened shrimp added. It was extremely citrusy and on the more sour side so I would say be mindful if you think the pesto is a neutral flavor. Everything was huge portions & the cocktails were delicious. Our server truly made the experience worth while. I would love to come back here as it is incredible. I would def try the steak medallions and the risotto next time!

Date night

We headed out for a date night, knowing that being a Friday, we'd likely have a bit of a wait for a table anywhere we went. Since I also wanted to do a little shopping, we decided to check out this location of Stone Creek Dining. I was thrilled to discover that I could set up a reservation online for 45 minutes from the time I set out to make reservations. So we went to one of the shops that I wanted before taking a short stroll together over to dinner. We had a booth up front by the windows, making us feel like we had some privacy, and we really enjoyed that. Our waitress was absolutely fantastic, the perfect balance of informative and attentive to details. The food was great, as usual. I've yet to have an experience at Stone Creek that's less than stellar. Really looking forward to coming back for Devour Indy for our next date night. I have to say, I didn't care for my Old Fashioned. But, The White Rabbit has me spoiled. I've yet to find anyone with a comparable Old Fashioned. My partner in shenanigans ordered his usual Crown and Coke and was informed they only have...gasp...Pepsi. Blech. Even making it double, it still just tasted like a watered down Crown and Coke.

Great spot!!! I was looking for a great place for dinner near my hotel and found this gem. The atmosphere was modern and clean. The bartenders were personable and took great care of me. The prices were great, I had the ribeye which came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The steak was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. I would definitely come back. Enjoy!!!!

We were in for dinner with a large group. The service staff did a great job, keeping drinks full and checking it often on our tables. We started with their house salad and a delicious bread course. I had a soy ginger salmon that was very flavorful. The salmon was a little overcooked, so it was a bit dry. We were given a tray of several desserts, all of which were very good. This is a solid run restaurant and they are quite consistent.

House Salad with homemade ranch

The house salad was really good, fresh greens, veggies, and sprouts. Their ranch is homemade. The horseradish sirloin was grilled to medium rare as requested, very tender. *If you arrive for dinner on Mon-Thurs between 4-6pm; ask for the "Eat Early and Save" menu!* Changing to 5-Stars: Tender sirloin steak, good mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, and a top notch house salad.....for $22 bucks. That's pretty hard to beat!

Stopped in here for dinner last night with my husband and his dad/step-mom. Service was quick, waters were always filled back up without having to ask, and the food was excellent. The inside is so beautiful- loved all of the green tile work and the tall ceilings. We had fried green tomatoes and ahi tuna for appetizers- the fried green tomatoes were delicious, but the price point was steep for only 3 of them, so we would not order them again. The ahi tuna was perfect and the wasabi slaw with it was even better. In-laws had the full rack of ribs (not pictured, but they were HUGE) + ribeye. Both enjoyed their meal and took home leftovers. My husband had the short ribs and said they were so tender. I had the orange-miso salmon and it was cooked just right and the dish verged on being slightly too salty, but I really liked that about it. Overall, a really fun evening out catching up with family! My husband and I would definitely come back here for a date night, especially since Barnes and Nobles is right across the street (which we did visit last night after dinner lol).

Blayne was a kind server. The short Rib was tender but a bit dry. Espresso Martini and Margarita were watery the first round and better the second. Bourbon Meatloaf was great. Caesar salad, Sirloin, Chocolate Fudge Bundt Cake for the birthday boy were satisfactory for him. Nice vibes inside, clean and unique.

Blackened Chicken Cob (bacon and regular ranch on the side). 6oz Threadcount by Quilt.

Food was good. Service was ok. Not the most friendly or attentive. Biggest issue, they keep their wine in the fridge. Red wine is served very cold and does a disservice to the brand (Quilt in my case). Spent so much time bringing it up to temperature so I could taste anything. It's also really cold in the restaurant, best guess 63-65° (I keep my house at 68°). They also count tip percentages including the taxes (a pet peeve, subtotal is what should be used!). Well appointed bar and wine list. Maybe all of this is to the liking of the locals, and since I doubt I'll ever have occasion to be in Plainfield IN again, this is just a heads up to anyone who may care.

Second time here. Good food, moderate value, good staff. Coming back here next Saturday before the 500. Recommend.

Excellent food, awesome service made this place a great choice. The staff was very tentative and made sure you had drinks constantly.

The rooftop is a hidden gem, lovely if it's not too hot to sit outside. I was with a group and we got to sample a number of menu items. The shrimp cocktail with little pops of mustard seed was great, as were the short rib egg rolls. Also enjoyed the sirloin with chimichurri and the sesame-crusted seared tuna. Do not miss the "Sticky Foot" dessert - a slab of DELICIOUS date bread pudding with caramel sauce, vanilla ice cream and popcorn on top. YUM. Our server Emily was cheerful and informative. A parking garage across the street served us well for dining at this restaurant and attending an event at Hendricks Live across the street. The shrimp cocktail appetizer featured fresh large shrimp with dollops of horseradish on the plate and a nice sauce. I enjoyed the steak frites entree, a generous portion of steak perfectly cooked, served with a delicious broccolini and tasty fries. My sister ordered the chicken marsala and noted that she would have liked more sauce, and the truffle potatoes were delicious. My brother said his huge pork chop was perfect, and my sister in-law recommended the sirloin steak. We had reservations and were seated at a high top table, which is not my preferred way to dine but the restaurant was full so we didn't ask to be moved. We had a bit of a wait for our entrees and chalked that up to it being Saturday night. There is a separate bar area and rooftop dining with igloos available.

The front desk attendant at the hotel gave us a double thumbs up on the nearby Coachman Restaurant and Lounge so we made our way over with rather high expectations. We have to admit that at first glance the Coachman doesn't suggest a superior dining experience. A somewhat tired exterior and an outdoor deck populated by smokers gave us pause but we pressed on and could not have been more pleasantly surprised by the food, drink, and service. We started with a Casamiga Ranch Water and a pint of the local amber ale. The drinks arrived in frosted glasses with the perfect degree of crispness. The star here is the prime rib. We had the 12 ounce prime which was perfectly rare and served with a large dollop of horseradish as well as a medium rare prime rib sandwich. The meat was flawlessly seasoned and impeccably tender. Our visit to the Coachman reinforced the adage that one ought not judge a book by its cover. We don't know if our adventures will take us through Plainfield again but if they do we will prioritize a meal at the Coachman!

The 8 ounce was plenty big with the two sides so I'm glad I didn't get the larger one. I will be back if I'm in the area. She suggested I try the pork tenderloin next time so I will do that. Keep up the great work.
