I was in need of a caffeine pick-me-up, so I decided to try STIX in my neighborhood. Not sure how long it's been open, but I've passed by it hundreds of times at this point. Anyways, I got my usual 50% sweet passionfruit green tea with boba and less ice. Neither of the in-store kiosks was functioning, so I had to order at the counter. My drink was ready within a couple of minutes of ordering though. What I primarily noticed was that the boba pearls were still nice and soft even at the end of the day. The passionfruit flavor could've honestly been a bit stronger, but since it seemed to be syrup-based rather than real fruit-based, perhaps the amount of flavor was sugar-level dependent. It was overall not bad and got the job done.
Tried this place at their OSL booth. Ordering was simple and easy with friendly staff. Got the Korean cheese dog with corn flakes and honey mustard sauce. Flavors were on point and it hit the spot.
I stopped in for a quick lunch here today and I HOLY CHEESE PULL I was not expecting to experience such a treat. I got the combo dog with spicy mayo and a Yuzu lemonade. For the price this thing was MASSIVE and perfectly cooked. I am excited to try the other options when I come back... probably tomorrow. The yuzu lemonade was punchy and tart with a little sweetness, the perfect balance to the crispy corn dog. The seating inside is very cute and clean so next time I'll order for here but with the weather being so beautiful I opted to eat outside. I also got my food within 10 minutes of ordering so very swift service! Will definitely be back for more.
Stop by here for a quick snack hot Cheeto dog was ok small little spot cook to order service was good food was ok boba and curly fries was ok. A little bland for me.
We ordered two corn dogs, one potato and one hot link with Hot Cheetos. Unfortunately, the batter inside was undercooked, especially on the Hot Cheetos one, which gave it an unpleasant texture. I'm not sure if I'd try this place again, especially since it's not cheap either.
A good place for a Korean style "corn-dog"! Inside there is plenty of space, and seating. The first thing I ordered was the potato dog with honey mustard on the side. And man did it hit for a mid-day snack. I also got the Sparkly Yuzu Lemonade which was very refreshing. You just need to mix the yuzu honey well as it settles on the bottom. The day after next I wanted to try the sweet potato cheese. It was good. But not as good as the regular potato. Staff is very friendly! Would come again if I'm every craving anything fried and cheesy lol
Cute shop with made to order batter covered hot dogs. Batter is not the traditional corn dog style so less to my liking, too chewy. Indoor seating. Although if it's nice out, cross the street to the nearby park.
Bigger than their first store, this new location has about 4 tables and a bar area with chairs. It's close to McCoppin Square so nice to go on a sunny day and eat in the park. The corn dogs take about 15 minutes to prep and the sauces they offer are honey mustard, nacho, ranch, wasabi mayo, sweet chili, and ketchup/mustard packs. I love spicy so I really liked their flaming corndog. It was actually pretty hot, I'd recommend this one only if you can really handle spicy. There is a large selection of different milk teas and lemonade.
I wanted a hot dog and we ended up at stix. Not exactly what i was craving but it hit the spot. We got 2 combo (hot dog and cheese) one with ramen, the other with corn flakes, and a lemonade. Overall pretty good.
Who doesn't love a good Korean dog with cheese pull?? Before Stix, I remember driving all the way to San Jose for Korean dogs.. Thankfully those days are behind us :) My boyfriend and I both ordered the combo dog filling (half mozzarella cheese and half all beef hot dog). I ordered the Sweet Potato combo and he ordered the Potato combo. We also decided to add sugar on the side so we can adjust how sweet we wanted the hotdogs to be. The flavors of the hotdogs were pretty good but I feel like the batter of the potato one was a bit too thicc - I think we'll opt for the regular Combodog in future visits. We also opted for the Spicy Mayo and ketchup sauces to add more flavor. Ordering with the Self Checkout screen was pretty user friendly. There were a number of tables to sit at and the place was overall clean. Parking was also relatively easy since this place was located in a residential area in SF. Will definitely be back for a Mozzarella Cheese dog and attempt to achieve the perfect cheese pull :)
The best Korean dogs I've ever had! Highly suggest the potato combo dog. No frills, no fuss - just great service to pop into and take your dog to-go.
Made a stop here since I was in the neighborhood. My partner got the hot Cheeto crusted corn dog and I got the potato dog with sugar. We loved both!! Super satisfying and filling. The cheese pull was to die for. We've been wanting to come here since trying Korean corn dogs in Vancouver and LA. I have to say, I liked these ones just as much, or even better! Downsides are that there's no seating and there can be a bit of a wait.

I never posted when they first opened on Taraval street and I had tried all their types of outer coating of their cheese dogs. There was the normal batter, the ramen, cornflakes, the regular potato and sweet potato were the flavors they had. They are all good in their own way. There was a time I was fully obsessed with Korean K-pop and Korean dogs and Stix was high on my list back then. Eating on a daily is definitely not healthy for you and will give you high cholesterol probably. I am always craving cheese, so you may see me here ordering a pure mozzarella cheese or potato cheese if sweet potato cheese with sugar. Yummy in my tummy for the summertime! read more

My wife wanted Korean corn dogs while we were in California. We ended up choosing STIX and were happy with our decision. We ordered potato combo, mozzarella cheese, and hotdog corn dogs. The potato combo was my favorite, but all 3 of them were enjoyable. The lemonade was the only drink I tried, but it was really good. The curly fries are worth getting, as well. If you're into Korean corn dogs, STIX is definitely a place you'll want to try. read more

It was so soggy and greasy. I could not enjoy it at all. I thought it was bc I left it steaming in the box but I teared it open to eat the hot dog at least..dough was not cooked.:( read more

Looking around, I could only find Stix as a place for delivery, so I decided to try them out. My favorite was the basic combo dog. It was nicely fried and for a delivery dog, the cheese was still a little melty / stringy. Worse was the ramen dog. The ramen tasted stale. As if you opened a package of ramen and let it sit for a while. I think the hubby liked the potato dog. Tho he did mention it was a little salty. For me, it was too much breading / coating. I thought it overpowered the meat and cheese. Other than the nacho cheese sauce, I'd skip the spicy mayo and wasabi mayo. Not much flavor. I actually preferred the dogs with plain old yellow mustard the most which I had at home. There aren't many Korean hotdog spots around, so glad Stix exists. Note: I'm not sure why there is a note about a sauce on the potato dog. Maybe they used to come with a sauce each? Also, Stix is not part of DashPass, so you have to pay the $3.99 delivery fee. read more
On a sunny day in San Francisco this is the place to go. This place has refreshing fruit teas and milk teas. There are also delicious snacks like their corndogs. This isn't your ordinary hot dog on a stick and it's not your ordinary cheese stick .This is a hybrid between a corn dog and cheesy mozzarella stick. There are variety of corndogs to choose from, so pick your stix. read more

Got the KFC~ there's 5 in a order. Not huge portion but crispy wings. I got the spicy soy garlic flavor but it's not spicy at all. Might try the original flavor next time so it's crispier (no sauce). read more

The food wasn't that great, which kind of surprised me based on all of the high reviews. I browsed through the online order menu before going. When I went to the shop and tried to order an item I saw online, the worker told me I couldn't order that because it was a different menu? The drinks were okay. They're super sugary and artificial if you're into that. The corndog was the most disappointing. I got the potato combo, and there were literally two small bites of hot dog inside. See the attached photo if you think I'm exaggerating. It really looked like they threw the scraps of another hotdog into mine. Not terrible, but I don't think I'll be coming back. STIX Korean corndogs are a fun treat that are very filling and yum in the tum! My eyes always speak for me when I go to STIX... never fails that I legit get full after one corn dog. I know Korean corndogs are a serious hype. However, I am ALL FOR IT. 5 stars for the corndogs but knocked off a star because the drinks are okay. However, temptation is real and a boba drink always pairs well with korean corndogs. Potato Combo Corn Dog -- eat this right away while it is warm! This has a great cheese pull. Get it with sugar and the mix of cheese and hot dog. This is such a good snack, it will fill you up right away! It takes about 20 minutes for you to get your order. Sauce costs a little extra, I really like honey mustard with my Potato Combo Corn Dog. Also their boba milk tea is very standard and not too great, I suggest ordering somewhere around the area if you are craving boba milk tea. Parking is a bit difficult, just try to find it somewhere around the block. read more

I love Korean food and actively seeked out different places with Korean food. Korean corn dogs are definitely a popular street food and it was nice to see that there are restaurants around that have it. Stix was actually on my list of must tries for the longest time but I was never able to make a visit. If they had opened while I was still in school (my school was literally a block away), I probably would've gotten the chance to try it out. Maybe because I was anticipating how good it was as Stix has been on my list for the longest time, but I have to say the overall experience fell a bit short. It's not that it wasn't good but I didn't find anything too memorable about their corn dogs. We did an online order and waited roughly 20-30 minutes for our two corndogs. We opted for a Potato Combo (with Cheese and the Beef dog) as well as the Ramen Combo. The combo is basically a corndogs that's split between cheese and corn dog itself. Initially I was concerned because I had finished my short hot dog and only saw cheese but realized there was another piece below. Would I make my way out there again? Both my teenaged daughters love this place. I'm finally trying it. I wasn't sure what to expect. I got the corndog with hotdog and cheese. It had fries on the outside sprinkled with sugar. I also got the honey mustard sauce. I really enjoyed it. It's a bit heavier than I typically eat for lunch but tasty and different. I liked the sauce I picked. I also tried my daughter's sweet chili sauce which was also a winner. I'd be willing to try it again and pick something else off the menu. Light and fluffy batter, making for a crunchy bite each time!! So glad we decided to stop by for a quick snack. Although they don't currently offer indoor seating there is a bar next door that had plenty of outdoor seating if you wanted to grab a drink. We ordered on the digital screen outside and went with the sweet potato cheese flavor as well as the hotdog and cheese. The cheese one was melty and gave that satisfying cheese pull, although I will say that because the corn dog is mostly cheese it doesn't really stay attached to the stick and I found it easier to eat it after removing the stick entirely. The sugar and sweet potato added even more crunch and made for a sweet and savory treat. Will be back for more chessy goodness! read more

Food 3/5 I ordered 2 corndogs (cornflake dog and potato combo). They came out fresh as there wasn't anyone before me and it too a few minutes. I was surprised how sweet the cornflake one was because they dust it a little with sugar. I'd reccommend that you do light sugar if possible. both combos were tasty. The cheese was super stringy (definitely worthy of a cheese pull photo in the future.) Both items were hot, tasty, and I'd love to try their other types as well. Service 3/5 Nothing crazy good or bad to say here. I ordered on a tablet outside the establishment and the only interaction was the pick up of the food. I think it was fine for what it was. Ambiance 3/5 Also not much to say here given they don't have indoor dining. There is a lot of construction going on in the area and parking is limited. read more
Definitely with trying at least once. The corn dogs are huge and the ones we got were packed with cheese. I think the ratio of hotdog didn't seem enough, but maybe I ordered the wrong one. They come with optional sugar topping and dipping sauces. I can't imagine the corn dogs being sprinkled with sugar, so I opted against it. All ordering is done via the tablet out front or via the QR code. Super quick and easy. 3/5 Combo mozzarella 3/5 Combo ramen I gave three stars because two corn dogs was almost $20 and that is a bit steep. That's why this is a one hitter quitter. read more

Yes they are open. Best to come and order in person. They only do take out. Sometimes they will shut off their online and phone because they get swamped with calls and orders.
