Came by during a Saturday morning and it was very busy. I got a speciality latte, there pollinator($6) and it was made in about 7 mins. The latte was really good! I enjoyed the right sweet to coffee ratio. The syrup they used definitely made this drink stand out to other shops. Inside was very busy and loud. Overall a fantastic cafe with great coffee!
Met my daughter for Saturday morning coffee. What a great place. Warm and welcoming ambiance and staff. Great food and awesome coffee. Place was busy but no wait for a table or for our orders. Great place and can't wait to come back.
Probably one of my favorite cafes in RVA that offers both a mean latte and an extensive food menu. Stir crazy is one of those places that all the locals know about and is extremely busy on the weekends, for good reason. As an iced latte fanatic, some of my favorites include the gingerbread and pollinator lattes. Only thing is, as a muslim who prefers eating halal, I wish that they'd have more food options without bacon/sausage or at least that they'd be open to doing more substitutions. The lily sandwich and the egg and cheese biscuits are my go-to's though!
I love this coffee shop! Stopped in here after a Yelp event and got a hazelnut latte & chicken bahn mi sandwich. Despite being very busy, my to-go lunch came out quickly. Great flavors & the bread was so soft. The latte was piping hot and delicious. 10/10 recommend. Plenty of street parking in the area & lots of seating inside & out.
The biscuit I had here was EXACTLY what I needed. Moist, and perfectly buttery. As someone who absolutely loves breakfast sandwiches and biscuits, I can confidently say this one was top tier. The flavors were spot on! There's a good amount of indoor seating, but it's clear everyone around the area knows this place is good! It can't get a tiny bit busy but so worth the wait. I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu. This spot is definitely going on my go-to list!
I've been going to Stir Crazy for a minute. The ambiance is always nice, even when it's packed. My recommendation is to come earlier rather than later if you're not a big fan of crowds. The pastries are always good, no matter which ones you grab. Their breakfast sandwiches are as well. And of course, I love their drinks. I'm a big iced latte gal myself
Second time here and I like this spot.. Both times had a biscuit and coffee. The BEC biscuit was great. Tried the country ham biscuit the second time. Flaky biscuit, salty ham, sweet apple butter and cheddar cheese (added egg on mine). First time I ordered to go but I dined in this time. Service was great both times was great. Friendly staff and quick turnaround on my food. Great scene too. Enjoyed sitting here and sipping my well made black eye with steamed cream. The menu is full of a variety of sandwiches and drinks. Stop in, if you nearby...or far away. Worth the trip!
Very cute and affordable spot in Bellevue! I went Saturday for lunch and it was delicious! I got the Italian sub, macaroni salad and a green smoothie. There sandwiches all topped out at around 10 dollars which is unheard of today. The staff was very friendly and service was prompt. It had a neighborhood feel which was very nice!
Came to Stir Crazy for the first time on a beautiful Saturday morning. The place was PACKED. All of the indoor and outdoor seating was taken and at some points the line to order was almost to the door. The staff were super friendly and for as busy as they were the food and drinks came out very quickly. They have a really large menu for a cafe, lots of sandwich options and breakfast options too. Oh how I want to give 4 stars but after this visit I can only give 3. Like I said the service was incredible, no notes. Unfortunately the sandwich I ordered just wasn't hitting. I ordered the Cali with the potato salad. My partner ordered the Italian and I was so jealous of his meal, his sandwich was really really good. We also ordered iced vanilla lattes which were very very milky, like barely brown almost white in color. I went back and ordered a quad espresso to add to our lattes which did make them better. I definitely want to give this cafe another shot, I want to love it so badly since we live so close and the staff were soooo friendly. Will update once we come back!
The sweetest little cafe in lakeside! There's tons of natural light, the staff is present and friendly, the art is beautiful and the food is delicious. I loved the Italian sub. It's a great spot to have a working lunch!
Wonderful cozy cafe! I ordered the maple iced latte with oat milk which was flavorful and creamy! I consumed my drink too fast to take a picture. Pricing is affordable. The people who worked there were very nice and accommodating. My friend ordered a hot chai which is pictured! Great place in a cute neighborhood.
If you're in Lakeside, this is the coffee spot to go! They had a line to the door, very busy but I received my food and chai latte - hot and ready - within 10 minutes. The bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel was delicious and flavorful. The chai latte had a generous and surprising amount of foam, beautifully sweet and the perfect temperature to drink right away. Loved coming here and will be coming back again!

During a mid-January 2023 business trip to Richmond, I was staying at a hotel about an 8-minute drive away from John Bryan Park (where I went for a morning jog), and found this cafe through Yelp. First, it's easy to find street parking as it's in a residential neighborhood with a mix of apartments, retail shops, and single family bungalow style houses. Second, the interior is pleasant and would be a nice place to work. Third, the coffee (regular drip) is awesome here. Overall, the service was friendly and professional. If you're in this neighborhood north of downtown Richmond and seeking good coffee, be sure to give this place a try!

One of my favorite neighborhood cafes ! So many options to choose from for breakfast or lunch. They have many options for coffee and I really like their matcha too! You can either dine in or takeout. Sometimes it is hard to find seating on the weekends. Everyone is very kind and service is fast. Whenever someone asks me where to go for coffee or casual eats, I always recommend Stir Crazy! read more

Big fan of Stir Crazy's work! It's definitely a must visit whenever I am in the neighborhood. While they can be quite busy on the weekends, the service has been quick for coffee orders, though I can't speak for the speed of ordering food. I highly recommend the Pollinator and Rosemary Brown Sugar lattes, as they're a great mix of unique flavor without overpowering the taste of the coffee. read more

Love this place! Living in the neighborhood has this beautiful perk of walking to places and Stir Crazy is one of them. The people are always so friendly and do a great job with the beverages, food and cleanliness of the space. The food is really good. I got my stuff to go today so the pictures don't do it Justice. They usually make beautiful coffees in mugs and you can sit by their faux fire and relax. I get a plain bagel with Pb for my kid and they have plenty options for littles to enjoy. You can get wraps in a bowl if you'd like and it's jam packed with flavor. Everyone is usually nice who comes here too so make a trip over and try it out. Ps-Cellar door is my fave drink not on the main menu, it's so so good! Oh my only tiff is I wish they had sriracha but I usually bring my to-go mini bottle read more

This coffee shopping is buzzing!!! I decided to check this place out on a Friday morning and was blown away by how packed the cafe was. There were people from all walks of life eager to get their hands on a cup of Joe!! This cafe has all kinds of coffee drinks and a sizeable breakfast menu to accompany it! I had a everything bagel that was delicious. Although I really enjoyed the vibe of the coffee shop and the food my interaction with the staff was kind of a bummer. Perhaps they were just really focused on getting the orders out but as a first timer I was looking for a little more interaction from the staff. read more

Just popping in to say that Stir Crazy Cafe has the best gosh darn amazing biscuits in Richmond! Firstly, they are giant. And perfectly crispy on the edges and top with just the most decadent layer upon layer of flakey, buttery goodness. I've been a few times now for the egg, cheese, and sausage biscuit and each time I am completely blown away. The egg is perfectly cooked so there's a bit of jammy yolk in the middle. The sausage is flavorful with just a hint of spice. And there's the melty layer of sharp cheddar. Pro-tip: Add blackberry jam to take it to the next level. They also have delightful coffee beverages and a really yummy looking menu of sandwiches and salads that I keep saying I will try. And a friendly staff and cool neighborhood vibe! read more

Great Service and fresh food! The chickpea salad on wheat bread was amazing. The ingredients were fresh and the bread was toasted perfectly. The iced cappuccino with caramel and mocha had bold and sweet flavors. Overall I would recommend this as a great lunch spot. Ready to get breakfast next time! read more

Stir crazy is a little hidden gem and I wish I had found it sooner! I had a bacon egg and cheese biscuit and an iced cellar door coffee. The biscuit hit the spot and I'm already trying to plan my next trip there to get another coffee. We ordered pick up and it was a good idea because clearly it's a favorite cafe for a lot of people! read more

This place is delightful! Their coffee and food are both delicious, my go to orders are the dayum good biscuit (sausage biscuit with blackberry jam) for breakfast and the turkey and cheese sandwich for lunch. The turkey sandwich is by far the best I've ever had read more

Why no more chocolate or coffee muffins? Everytime I want a muffin its a vegan or a bran muffin. No blueberry or cranberry orange. No coffee cake, or cinnamon rolls, come on this is a coffee shop. And no oatmeal all winter whats up with that?
