Stopped by for breakfast on a Sunday morning around 930am. The parking was okay, as it is parking around the perimeter of the business and additional in the back. The restaurant is really small. Not a place I would sit in to dine especially on the weekends as it was packed. There was a long line but it did not deter me from ordering. They moved fast. After ordering I stepped outside until the inside cleared a bit. It never did lol and it was somewhat chilly so I stepped back in. The wait was maybe 10 minutes not too long. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit and a smoked sausage biscuit. They were really good. Soft, buttery biscuit. Also the meats were cooked well. The egg was scrambled nicely. If you're looking for a hole in the wall type of place, this is definitely it. Walking in, there were only about three tables to sit at. You order at the counter and they bring a bag of food to your table. We ordered the special of the day, which was the hot links in a biscuit with egg and cheese. They don't offer potatoes and the menu is very limited, but the items they do offer are very good. The biscuit on the sandwich was absolutely great! Definitely one of the best I've ever had. The grits were made very well, but the cheese that they use on top was not very good, I think it was a Kraft singles or something else that was processed, so it kind of hurt the grits bowl. The rest of the patrons were very friendly and welcoming. The door seemed to be a problem, it was a chore to keep it closed and we were sitting next to it. Overall, I would recommend the food here, but I would take it to go. I'm sure I'll be back and I'll try the grits again, this time without the cheese. I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and I am mad at myself for not coming by sooner. That may have been one of the best biscuits I've ever had! The biscuit, itself, was the perfect ratio of flakiness, butteriness, and density. It was not too fluffy which is fine and not too try, which some biscuits can be. The food was incredible! First time here trying it out after hearing nothing but great things about this hidden gem and I can confirm that they did not disappoint. I tried a biscuit with egg, cheese, and the pork tenderloin and the madam tried the classic egg, cheese, and fried chicken. Biscuits were that perfect flaky but not crumby texture. Pork and chicken were both delicious and you can't go wrong with an egg and cheese to boot. Place has been here forever. Converted old gas station. Some of the best biscuits you'll ever eat. It's small with a few tables inside. There will be a line but moves quickly. A great biscuit, one of the best you'll taste in Metro Atlanta. The cinnamon rolls are great too, although very sweet and sometimes there's too much icing -- I request lite icing. However, the hours are a bit chaotic. They've recently changed and now they've gone off course with the change. I've stopped by three times to find it's closed although I'm there during business hours. Usually, they'll leave a sign on the door to notify you. It's a bit frustrating because they do not communicate via social media or voicemail if they're sold out or closed due to an emergency. I'd like to see them be better at communicating closures because it's happened several times in a short period. I've seen people drive up with me, we're all trying to enter then we're met with the realization that they're closed. I call ahead but normally there's no answer. I hope everything's going to be business as usual very soon. I can't wait to finally catch them open again, I've been having trouble with it primarily on Sundays. When the hours aren't so dysfunctional, it's a 4 star experience just considering food. When there's no organization, 3 stars just simply because of inconvenience. read more

Fortunately, we did not have far to travel, so we ordered a takeout. Hands down--these were the best biscuits we had ever tried! I highly recommend the biscuit with gravy. A couple tables for sitting and waiting but everything is packed in a bag to go. It was definitely a family type of ambience; complete with lots of family photos all over the wall. It's the kind of place where table sharing is expected because of the tiny size of the place, but we welcomed that! Most folks ordered their food to go, but we opted to eat there. We ordered the combo plate that had grits, cheese, bacon n eggs topped over a large biscuit (neither of us could finish this large plate). It was tasty, but I prefer cheddar cheese as opposed to the American slices. I've had better cinnamon rolls... I like a more pronounced cinnamon flavor, but these were good served hot. Opening the door to this cute establishment reminded me of walking into Luke's diner on Gilmore Girls. Everyone knew each other's name. They greeted you as you came in. When they left the diner EVERYONE said good bye have a great day. If this isn't magical in today's world I don't know what is. All meals are made to go. We sat down and ate there. The biscuits your choice of quality meats, eggs and cheese such comfort food AMAZING. The cinnamon rolls (sooo good) bagged to go home after a good size biscuit meal. Quaint little shack located off Stilesboro Rd. We've been dying for them to open back up so we could check them out. Very limited hours here: W-Sat 7:30-11:30AM/Sun 8 - 12PM. There is enough parking here, even though it doesn't look like it from the road (parking in the back as well - prob around 12-15 spots total). Love the inside of this country shack, which is littered with photos all over the walls and funny phrases. Certainly fits the style of comfy country. They have seating on the front porch if needed, but nothing inside. Ordering is simple and it's pretty much all biscuit cuisine. They do have a fridge for drinks and a counter with coffee and tea. Although it was very busy when we got there, our food didn't take long. I got two bacon/egg/cheese and my gf got the country ham. For my biscuit, I was so-so on it. My gf had come previously a few days before and said the biscuit quality then was much better. I guess cooking from scratch yields different variations but today's just wasn't fluffy enough for me. In my mind, I was expecting a larger and fluffier biscuit. If your niche is biscuits, then that sets the expectation. Overall, love the shack and atmosphere and friendly service. Might need to come back and try them out again. Just wasn't super impressed with my meal, and I hate saying that. Was so looking forward to these biscuits being something else. I've been here a number of times. They've had my favorite biscuit for years, but the chicken appears to be a freezer filet. Why? The sausage is okay. The pork is good, but I wouldn't know what it is if I didn't order it. I just can't seem to find the right protein. Sadly, my biscuit this week was not like the biscuits I've had here before. They were slammed on a Saturday, so I'm curious if they had to pull some extra biscuits out of the freezer. It just wasn't the same. My husband said it was more like a dense croissant texture. So disappointing, especially after waiting for 20 minutes for my food. LOL Don't judge a book by the exterior of its restaurant! It may not look like much outside, but they've got a great biscuit waiting inside for you! The parking lot is relatively small, but we always manage to find somewhere to park. They are now only open, Wed-Sat, so plan accordingly. If you've never been here, just know that the lines can get crazy long, from 7am-9am, especially when school is in. I don't know how it would be possible that you've never been here, but IF you haven't, when you want a good country breakfast biscuit, you should come here!! I've had a variety of their biscuits and have never really had one that I didn't like. Not only are the biscuits good, so are the cinnamon rolls and the brownies! I mean they are really good!! The service is always top notch and if you can catch the owner working, you'll really be in for a treat! Stilesboro Biscuits is a good for breakfast. Their biscuits are good. The first few times I ate here I got their grit bowls. The grits were cheesy and buttery and were so good with egg, cheese, and bacon added. However, the last few times the grits barely have any butter or salt, which was not great. I hope they will monitor the consistency of the grits. I also appreciate the smell and feel of the location. It feels like you are traveling back in time.
