I'm never going to Sticker Express at Whitestone and Lakeline again!!!! They failed my truck because of the gas cap, which I am still skeptical over. (For one thing, instead of testing it while the cap is still tethered to the vehicle, like they normally do, he pulls the cap including the tether line off my Dodge and places it where I can't see. The cap checker is on a flex hose, so pulling the cap and the tether line completely off the vehicle is not necessary and is not the norm.) I go back up there with a new gas cap from Autozone. As I am waiting for the same inspector (Eric) to recheck mine. He pulls in a fairly new Kia. I have full view of the car, especially the gas door. I'm watching him the entire time. He plugs the diagnostic connector in, but never opens the gas door and checks this lady's gas cap. He passes her car and she checks out. After she leaves, I ask him why he didn't check her gas cap. He claims he did. I said, "I've been sitting here the entire time, and you never checked her gas cap or even opened the filler door. Once again he disagrees, and says I can't see everything he's doing from my vantage point. I said, I can certainly see the car's gas door, and I never took my eyes off you the entire time. He still maintains he checked. I keep disagreeing. Things are getting heated. There is no other employee in the station but him. I realize this argument isn't going to solve anything. Because, he is just going to cya and keep denying. He then says, "Sir yours is an 02 and that lady's is a 2015". I said, so you don't have to check hers, because it's newer? He said it's discretionary. It is my understanding that testing gas caps for state inspections is NOT discretionary. I said, fine, whatever. Just make sure this new cap tests fine, and I will go. Of course he keeps my old cap, possibly so I won't take it somewhere else and have it checked. After doing so many a day, he may have skipped it without realizing, but he would not own up to his mistake. If Sticker Express management wants to talk about this with me, I am more than happy to illuminate them on their employee's conduct. read more

Just days to go...and this Jeep needs to get Mr. Perry those funds! It's time for the Inspection Injection! Dreading where to go...this time around the decision was just a bit easier (more on that towards the end)! Called ahead, told "nope, no wait"...and off we rushed, as we were headed out-of-town, and didn't want to waste too much time. Easy to find, easy to navigate, swing around the back and whoa! There's...there's a car in the bay! Drat! Oh well, apparently only takes "10 minutes", so we shouldn't have to wait too long. As others have very, VERY clearly stated, the most pleasant and smiling serviceman greets me in the pull-through, welcomes me, and indicates...just about 5 minutes left on this one. Woot! All he needs is my Insurance card and...whoa...wait...my insurance card?! Where...where is it?!?! Oh shoot! That's right, changed insurance companies recently...and I don't have the card on me! Oh no!! "Not a problem, Sir! We have a computer in the office here; you can probably pull it up online. It's free...go ahead..." Even better, I've got the 5 minutes to wait still, and I quickly call up my insurance Company, who immediately email me the policy, and that incredibly friendly Inspection technician GLADLY accepts the emailed version. We are in business! My daughter times it...10...minutes...on...the...nose! He's extremely pleasant, Professional in demeanor, and GLADLY accepts the $3-off coupon I've got in-hand. Oh, the convincing reason to visit this location? Check your local Community Impact magazine for a handy $3-off-Inspection coupon located in the back. I think the State-standard is $28.75, but with the $3-off, it saves a few bucks off the "pain". Thanks for making this annual cash-grab at least a little more pleasant and enjoyable. I went to Lambs first and they said a 3 hour wait for an inspection. Thats a gross amount of time so I left. My wife said what about that 10 minute inspection place I have seen by our house. I had not even thought about them. I pulled up their was 2 customers in front of us. We waited a couple minutes and then I was asked for a copy of my insurance. Before I know it we were back on the road again. Nice staff. Clean. I will go to them from now on as long as I live in the area. read more

The first time I went here they helped me 10 mins before they were closing and everything was quick and professional. I came back two weeks later with our other vehicle and they wouldn't help me. I showed up 30mins before 6, since the only time I have is after work. I was met in the parking lot and told they couldn't help me today since they had a couple of other cars and had to leave at 6.pm. I would take my business elsewhere if I where you. read more

It always is a whip to have to get an oil change, tire rotation, or a state inspection. It seems to take forever with a long wait and several unexpected charges or suggestive sale attempts. NOT HERE!
