We just used Guzman's Tree Service to remove a huge, dangerous limb hanging precariously over our…read morehouse and fence. The limb split about 2/3 of the way up our 100 foot plus hickory tree and fell across another 100 foot plus hickory tree making it a very dangerous removal over the house. We called Guzman's for a free estimate based on their excellent reviews and received a call back within minutes. The owner, Silvestre, came out that same day to give us a quote. The quote was extremely reasonable and probably too low considering how complicated this limb removal turned out to be. He assured us that his guys could drop a limb on a dime and he wasn't kidding! The whole crew came out the next morning exactly as promised and immediately got to work. We were in awe watching these guys work their magic on these massive trees. The man cutting the hardwood trees made it look so effortless as he climbed the trees and flew from tree to tree like Spiderman. They had very little clearance between the trees, two houses, and our fence, yet not one branch hit anything. We opted to get both trees completely removed due to safety issues. Their clean-up was so good that you can't even tell that there were trees there. We truly can't recommend this company and their crew enough. This is a family-run business that's licensed and insured, takes great pride in their work, are prompt with good communication, and do an excellent job cleaning up afterwards. Give them a call. You won't be disappointed! They will be the only tree cutting service we'll use going forward as no one else can compare.

Santos gave us a fair price and was able to accommodate our schedule. He did a great job and managed to solve our problem while keeping our roof unscathed. We will likely use his services again soon for some other trees and would highly recommend him to others.

Well, they did the job quite well and professionally but when I received the bill it was $14,000 for one tree and less than 3 hours of work, also a crane was not required after all. When the insurance adjuster came out a few days later, he found it hard to believe. He's submitting the claim as a possible fraud investigation. Josh quoted me a competitive rate for some trees in our backyard. Unfortunately, he doesn't do…read morestump grinding so I had to hire another company for that portion of the work. The team took down about 13 trees for me in about 5 hours and they were clearly experienced. However, the clean up process left me wanting more. Unfortunately the team showed up a day after a heavy rain and my entire back yard took a beating, as did the lot next to me where they drove the log truck and bobcat. Additionally, the road in front of my driveway was covered with mud and I'm in a community with an HOA. I asked Josh about clean up, and he said the team would rake it over and clean up the road before they left, which they didn't. Josh even said he would come back and help me spread grass seed and straw over the lot beside me if I would go purchase, which I did but he never showed. I even asked if Josh would come back after the stump grinding to help grade the back area and I would pay him over his normal rate for two hours of work, and he agreed. That's where the transaction went sideways. Josh was hard to get in touch with and never showed back up. He didn't call to negotiate for more money or anything. The few texts I received just said I will be out this weekend or sometime next week. Three weeks later I called and left him a voicemail and said not to worry about coming back. I was left with about 25 hours worth of work and additional expenses for equipment rentals. Just beware what you are getting into when you hire for tree services. I was left with a mess for a backyard, many hours of labor and several hundred dollars of additional expenses for more work to the area before it will be considered "finished." Might be wise to ask your contractor these types of questions upfront and avoid unmet expectations. Price was competitive, tree work was good, cleanup and communication was poor, and follow thru was lacking. Best of luck if you choose these guys in the future!
