The crew cleaned up after the work was completed so that there was no dust or wood chips on our roof (and our neighbor's roof since they had to access the neighbor's property to fully take down the tree). Anyone visiting us the next day would've never known that we just had a giant tree cut down. There was some oil spillage on our paved alley/driveway from a chainsaw that broke while cutting down the tree, and Northside provided us with a free power wash to take care of the problem. Cesar, the arborist that came to do the inspection and estimate for this work tried to do the pruning in a way that did no harm to any of the trees involved. One neighbor needed to have a 'weight reduction' on two trees as they were tall and swayed quite a bit in high winds. This service took about 15% off upper limbs, which also reduced the strain on the root system. There is a definite reduction of fear that these trees might come down in a bad storm. The other neighbor needed one 'dead' tree removed, and another live tree removed as it was leaning over a neighbor's property. The crew that did all of this work was there on time (actually early), Each worker was aware of the scope of work to be done. They were very efficient as each worker had an assigned task. The climbers used all of the safety equipment I could have imagined being necessary. Cleanup was very thorough, and left the properties in the same or better condition than when the job was started. Please note that Atlanta Arbor is covered with both liability as well as workers comp insurance coverage. I will certainly use them again as the need arises.

They were one of many estimates we received and they came in with the best price and timeline with the trim, removal and stump grind coming in around $1,000. Many other estimates were running us $2,500+, so we were happy to have found Silver Axe. They were timely, professional and knowledgeable during the quoting phase and while on site. Our house featured above ground power lines that came close to the oak tree in the front yard, and they handled this well to ensure nothing happened to our connection. The tree in the back and subsequent stump grinding was done well. I do wish I would have paid the bit extra to have them haul the chips off, but I decided to fill in some spots on the fence line with the wood chips, and they made their way into my grassy area eventually which became a pain...so lesson learned. Overall, Silver Axe came in clutch and helped us solve a few tree issues we had. The trims were great and the dead tree removal was a lift of stress we no longer had to worry about. He wanted to be paid even though he had not completed the treatment. I already had a check made out to him for the aeration, as well as the spraying; so I showed it to him and told him that I would give it to him when he completed the work. He was supposed to come back the next day. Next day - no show or phone call. The third day someone came and completed the treatment and accepted payment. I fired them, but someone came at another time to treat my lawn. I told him that they had been fired. I would have continued to work with them except for the old guy who came out first blighted the whole experience.

Out of maybe 10 companies I interacted with, they were the most responsive and provided the quickest, most professional, comprehensive quote. I could tell during the consultation that Justin knows trees. He pointed out how trees had been previously incorrectly trimmed by the previous owner and suggested a remedy to keep trees healthy. Within a day, I had my quote and within about a week, the work has been completed. They trimmed two large oaks and removed a hardwood pecan. I was stressed just peeking here and there but the entire crew was professional, fast, and friendly. I made a promise to the oaks (I'm a tree hugger) that I'd do what I can to keep them around as long as they're healthy and strong and don't ruin my home. I'm so happy with the job Lumberjacks did. I'm sure I look like even more of the neighborhood crazy lady because I just keep going outside to smile at the happy looking trees. I contacted them for a tree removal in a backyard. They responded within a few days to schedule a free estimate. They offered a very reasonable price to cut it down and move the pieces to the nearby tree line (nearly 1/3 the price of a competitor's estimate). Despite being far from their other projects, they scheduled me quickly. They were able to cut the tree with no damage to the surroundings. Removal and cleanup was great and no mess or debris was left. This team is very polite and professional. I highly recommend them for any of your tree service projects. Needed several trees trimmed. One was particularly tricky because a troubling limb hung directly over the porch and deck. These guys were amazing. Not exaggerating. They came at the set time and they were ready. They went right to work with diligence, speed and more importantly, precision. They were completely finished and cleaned up in just a couple of hours. We needed a dozen large to medium oak trees taken down as some were hitting the house and sick and leaning over. Wow, Best crew I've found and I've been through a few. Haven't had a tree removal company do a day rate before Which was a dealbreaker. A very friendly and hardworking crew who went above and beyond. They shredded the branches and cut the trunks into 16 to 18 inch pieces for our fire pit and fireplace. They hauled away some also. Very knowledgeable and accommodating.
