Jamie showed up promptly for the quote appointment. He walked around the property with me to see the trees we wanted removed. He gave us a quote, we found it fair and agreed to hire them. We had 8 total trees removed, 2 of which were enormous pine trees. I think one is the biggest in the neighborhood. My husband dealt with the contract and payment with the office and said Javier was pleasant, helpful and responded quickly. On the day of the service a crew of about 10 showed up promptly and quickly got to work. The whole removal job took about 6 hours. The next day the stump grinders showed up and quickly took care of the stumps. We are super pleased with AAA and I've already recommended them to a neighbor. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. We needed many large trees pruned in the front and back yard and some high ones over the roof. We got quotes from about 4 different companies and AAA was the most affordable. A few years ago, I used AAA Tree Experts with good results. This time I scheduled an appointment. They did not arrive within 15 minutes of the appointment. When I called to check, she didn't apologize and just said they were running late and could be there in 45 minutes. The work was for the HOA and I went to the HOA common area location on time to meet with them. They wasted my time and couldn't care less. 4pm Update: Eric left a message saying " I don't know what the problem is, when you called in at at 10:15AM Molly said they would be there at 11 to 11:15." No Sorry we missed our appointment at 10AM (and didn't call to tell me), nothing.. He went on to say that when I called at 10:15AM they were on the way to another appointment and didn't know how long it would be. And they are confused about a 1 star review? Really? YOU HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THE CUSTOMER'S TIME. The next time you are late for an appointment, And you know you will be at least an hour late, here's an idea: Call the customer. They removed ~35 trees (mostly Leland cypresses) from my back yard. Erik and Molly came out to take a look. They could not have been more professional. Erik handed over a copy of their license, liability insurance and workman's comp insurance and told me he was an arborist. He quoted an excellent price (I had gotten 4 others) and told me that his crew would hand-carry all the trees to my driveway, so as not to tear up the yard with heavy equipment. On the day of, they showed up 15 minutes early for the 8 AM start time, with 12 men and 3 chipper trucks, to avoid any waits while the trucks dumped their debris. The men went to work immediately, scaling trees, cutting down limbs, felling trees (which were expertly aimed) and literally *running* the pieces into the chipper, for hours at a time. They took a couple of well-deserved breaks, including lunch, and had everything done by 5:00. By then, every piece of debris had been raked up and removed from the yard, and my driveway and stone patio had been swept clean. Erik had said that I won't pay a cent until I'm fully satisfied that everything was done as promised. There wasn't a thing that needed correction. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. read more

The tree removal business is a highly intricate process. When trees are to be removed multiple variables are to be accounted for ie. access to said trees, facilitating the transport from location on site to trucks for transport. Traversing the heavy loads over/around property features without causing damage. Utilities lines and supplies that are underground and could be impacting or impactful to the job. Last but never least... Cost. Called triple A on a Wednesday. They said they could show on Friday to price. I replied that if anytime sooner that they had would be highly encouraged. They texted back that evening and stated the they had an opening on Thursday and did so. Erik and Molly arrived on time. Immediately upon introducing and handshakes Erik provided Insurance and certification documents. A big Plus compared to a company rep I previously encountered while planning this job who said here is a copy of my insurance but it's an obsolete one as the coverage date has expired "but I'll bring an up to date one when we start the work". Pass pass pass. Very easy to talk to we all went over my job parameters and landed on a very comfortable price point for our scope of work needed. Erik assigned two crews to our job to provide one day removal and next day stump grinding. All went according to plan. Even the forecasted rain waited until nightfall to start and was of no impactful the stump grinding the next day. When you are in the business of accommodation of service(s) to homes. Receiving quality service from a company to a standard higher than expected requires as much or more quality in appreciation and accolade. AAA Tree Experts are highly recommended. These guys were amazing!!! We had them do a huge job on an newly purchased property. Our home has numerous trees so we had an Arborist from AAA come and do a consultation. We closed on the house on 8/6 and they completed the job on 8/10. In a half a day, they cut down large pines, oaks, zapped ivy and cleaned up after themselves. I've seen AAA Tree Experts driving around my neighborhood. Their office isn't far from my house. I like to shop local and support local businesses. My next door neighbor had used them to prune some huge oak trees last summer. I saw what a great job they had done so they were the first and only tree service company I contacted. I am so pleased with how the entire process and final result worked out. Erik the Sales Manager scheduled an appointment with me for a Tuesday. I had something come up and had to reschedule and he was very accommodating. He came back on Friday and gave me a very reasonable estimate to have 9 trees cut down and quite a bit of pruning done in my backyard. So I decided to go ahead and hire them. Erik called me the following Monday to say the city had approved the work and they could start as early as Wednesday. That didn't work out for me and he had availability on Thursday. Erik and the crew were scheduled to come between 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. Thursday. They arrived just after 8:00 a.m. Erik met with me and we went over the job. He introduced me to Jaime who was overseeing the crew. The crew quickly got to work climbing trees and setting up their equipment including a wood chipper, Bobcat, ropes and chainsaws. It took them just over 4 hours to do a lot of work. They cleaned up as they went and left the backyard looking spic and span. The crew seemed happy to be here. They all worked well together. I'm also very pleased with how they chipped the branches and spread the wood chips into the backyard. It looks fabulous compared to how overgrown and out of control the yard had gotten over the years. I highly recommend AAA Tree Experts. When he arrived to quote the work the very first thing he did was show his credentials and insurance details, which immediately made me feel comfortable. He was very efficient at walking through the work I wanted to do with me and explaining what could wait and what was worth doing now, and the quote was right in line with what I expected. We had three trees that needed to be pruned and a few other trees surrounding our house that needed trimming. After doing some research (Yelp and other sites), I chose AAA Tree Experts. When Erik and Molly came to do the estimate, they were on time and professional. When I showed Erik (Sales Manager and Arborist) all that needed to be done he was quick to offer advice and then reviewed with me what needed to be done so there was no misunderstanding. Erik and Molly made a good first impression and a contract was signed (I normally do not do this). On the day of the project, I was abit anxious because the project in my mind was large and, eventhough, people make a good impression you never know the outcome of a project until it is complete. Gilbert was the project manager and his crew did a great job executing the plan. At the conclusion, everything I had requested was done and the remaining project debris was cleaned up adequately. I used Yelp to ask area Tree Removal companies for quotes. This company immediately responded with questions about where I was located geographically. I answered and they promptly sent a personalized reply informing me (apologetically) that I was outside of their service area. In the beginning, everything went well and I would have given them 5 stars but unfortunately our experience took a turn for the worse. We had them come out and give us a quote. They gave us a reasonable price so we decided to give them our business. They came out and cut down the trees in 1 day (we had 35+ large to medium sized trees with several smaller ones). They chipped up most of the small stuff into mulch and that is when the issues began. I came home and noticed that their bobcat had cut ruts in my back yard even though they were supposed to put plywood down to keep that from happening. They also placed some of the larger logs they couldn't chip up on the front lawn and scooped some chunks of grass out of the lawn in the process. After that, I talked to them and they agreed to fix the issue. However, now it has been months and they still haven't fixed the grass. Every time I contact them, they set up a time to come out and take a look and they won't show up to the appointments. If you use these guys to cut down your trees make sure you don't give them a dime until all of the damage is fixed, no matter how minor. Otherwise, they will probably never fix it. read more
