Hello! I live on a fairly large property with many tall old growth trees. I feel an obligation to preserve these oak, hickory and pecan trees and the birds and squirrels who live in them. Every few years it is necessary to do some tree trimming and I had put it off because it is a large expense. After a branch landed on the roof and smashed my gutter I knew I couldn't wait any longer. About a month ago I was returning from a trail walk at Leita Thompson Park and saw a Squirrel Tree Services truck. Since I love squirrels and needed my trees trimmed I gave them a call. A fine gentleman named Jorge came by to give me a quote. He was extremely friendly and helpful explaining what his team could do for my situation. Obviously I knew I was about to spend thousands of dollars and wanted the job done soon. Jorge made notes of all the trees needing trimming and told me the price it would cost. I believe it was an extremely fair price because it was a lot of work The Squirrel Team showed up exactly at 8:00 am on Saturday and set up their equipment. The climbers and rope.squad were amazing and Spiderman would have been envious of their acrobatics up in the tree canopy. The project was completed by 6:00 that day and the yard looked fantastic. They cleaned up perfectly and the yard looked its best in years. Now I don't have to worry about a limb crushing my house (or me!) for a.long time. Amazing crew! They swarmed my property at full speed, did everything I had asked to, plus other things they noticed needed to be done. Took a split tree down to the ground, topped out and pruned another one, took out 2 11 ft tall invasive privet bushes, trimmed my shrubs in front and got their branches off the house, went behind my house cut some small trees that were leaning. Excellent Job! We had 25 very tall 20-years old Lilian Cyprus trees in a difficult to remove area close to two houses. To choose the more reliable company we invited 5 different companies for interview. Not all of them showed up on time... Then, Squirrel Tree Services, Inc. left a flyer on our door handle. We called them, made an appointment, and two very young representatives Diego and Jacob punctually came over. These guys are the bomb! We've used them 3 times now and their work and work ethic are consistent. They crawled all over our backyard and our neighbors yard this morning cutting down trees and dead branches. They are very fairly priced and the value for the extra work they do is incredible. The hauled off all debris and shredded at the curb then they came back and almost vacuumed out back yard up. You can't hardly tell they have been here except for the good parts. This company is amazing!!!! The owner gave me a FREE quote quickly, scheduled the date, came on time, worked tirelessly for a day and a half and cleaned up everything. I had 6 very tall trees in the backyard removed and the stumps ground. The team removed all the trees without damaging my front yard. Not that price is always the biggest option, but their price was much lower than the other quotes I got. I got the recommendation from my landscaper, who was also having trees removed, so this is a company that a landscaper trusts. I will say you will need to be patient. Jorge had a 3 week wait and he was worth the wait. Two weeks after our trees were removed, a tree uprooted and toppled over across the street. We needed 3 - 60' plus oak (dead) trees removed and a magnolia tree trimmed. Our home is safe again, and our property looks better after the crew finished the 4 hour job! Right from the start I had a very good feeling about working with Jorge on an extensive tree removal project at my sister in-law's house in Roswell. I am from out of town & had to make the most of a September trip for scheduling the job for our next trip at Thanksgiving. I got 5 estimates & Jorge gave a very fair price for the large scope of work involved. After the storm hit the area a few weeks ago I became concerned that they might have to reschedule our job, but they stayed true to their word & their price! Nancy called from the office the day before to reconfirm & Jorge & his crew of 6 guys were right on time. As the work was getting done I wanted to add a few more trees to the job, & we quickly agreed on a price adjustment that was also VERY FAIR. These were over 10 pine trees that were upwards of 80-plus feet high & multiple smaller trees throughout the acre lot, & the crew made it look easy. I found Squirrel Tree Service here on Yelp. They provided a very good quote. Their tree cutting crew did a good job. They did leave about 8 holes (depressions) in our front lawn which need to be repaired but perhaps that was not preventable. However their stump grinder was out of order. I had to call about four times asking about the stump grinding. Each time, Nancy said she would check on it and let me know. I never got callbacks. Finally a small crew showed up six weeks after the tree service (without any notice) to grind the stumps. The stumps were ground well, however, they scratched the support post of my neighbor's deck. Instead of apologizing, Nancy just kept saying "Its just a scratch" and demanded payment before handling it to the satisfaction of my neighbor. Not the best experience. read more

Squirrel Tree Services removed approximately 20 pines that were infested with beetles and pruned 16 hardwood trees. I am beyond thrilled with their work! They went over and above - my property was left spotless. More importantly, George was available and involved from the quote to the end of the job, listened to my concerns and made appropriate suggestions based on his years of experience. Nancy, who runs the office, is amazing. She was the only person who actually followed up with me after I got the quote to see if I had any questions and ask for my business. Not one other company even bothered to give me a call. Nancy even helped with getting approval from the City of Milton, and stayed in regular contact with me as we went through that process. I interviewed and got quotes from 7 companies. I requested proof of liability and workers comp insurance, and a copy of the business license from each company (as is required from the City of Milton and should be required by the homeowner who assumes huge risk if a company is not properly insured). Two never provided the documents and one provided a hand written form and said that their business license had lapsed because they "didn't have time" to renew it. Another had liability only because "their workers are contractors so they didn't need workers comp". I feel that I paid a very fair price for the amount and quality of work done. I used squirrel tree services for removing two tree from my home for $975 . ( This amount was based on a counter offer from another company for $1000). After the tree removal I asked for the invoice to claim from the insurance on 19 July 2019 where the tree removal was done on 15 Jun 2019. lady who is in charge of the office told that she already sent to my mail , but I never received . Whenever I call on the office number she tells that she is not in office and will send the invoice she reach office. And on July 25 2019 she sent an invoice with wrong description , where in the description she mentioned they removed 3 trees. And I told that they removed only 2 trees and sent the pictures of the tree that removed. But she was telling that her Boss told that it is 3 so she can't change . So I ask her to sent some one to check how many trees are removed . And in my property there is only two trees are removed so far and I sent videos of the tree that removed. Even after I sent the videos , she is telling that my Boss told is 3. I don't understand why they are hesitating to provide right invoice to the costumer. So don't trust this people .
