Today I had the pleasure of working with Cowboy Tree Care to remove a huge tree in my backyard, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and exceeded my expectations. I was grateful to find this company to complete this project. The way they presented themselves from day one showed me how much care I would receive. Which was a lot and I'm grateful. A special shoutout to Agui, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. He came out for a free quote and that day I had lost access to the side gate, due to a rusted lock. Agui came back the next day and cut the lock to allow me access to my yard, just because! He is kind, professional, and took the time to explain each step of the process to me, ensuring that I felt comfortable and informed. You'll know he doesn't play about his work when he brings a laser pointer to the estimate! No one will be confused when Agui's around!! He is a reasonable salesman that was very understanding when it came to finances and time. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly commendable!! His team was another awesome aspect of the experience. The group of young man that were passionate about hard work was seen throughout the 8 hour project. They arrived as a team very promptly to the start time. Sorted their gear, assessed the yard and got to work! Even without their boss there, they showed they were up to and diligent about getting the job done right the first time. They worked very well with and around eachother as the day wore on. Their focus and determination were evident throughout the entire process. One of the aspects I appreciated most was how respectful they were of my property. They took great care to protect my yard from falling limbs and huge chunks. They accommodated my request to keep the wood and stack it along the back fence. (Stacking it in a way that makes it easy for me to reorganize as well! You can't buy this type of intention!) Once the job was over, they made sure everything was cleaned up and in order once the job was completed. Additionally, they were sweet to my dog to my dog, which meant a lot to me. I even have a Persimmons fruit tree that was struggling and has been leaning for the longest. Once a limb came down from the tree that could prop it, no questions asked, one of the kind young men hoisted it against my tree and supported it for years to come in the future. How thoughtful! It's the little things like this that really make a difference. Overall, I am still obsessed with the work I received today. Cowboy Tree Care not only met but exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of tree care services. As a military veteran, I greatly appreciate a sense of urgency about getting things done. I requested quotes, on Yelp, Monday afternoon, to have a colossal tree cut down. Agui answered Monday night and said he'd be by the next morning. He was at my front door at 8:30 Tuesday morning with a huge, warm smile on his face! I hadn't even had a cup of coffee yet. Agui introduced himself & gave me his card. "Cowboy Tree Service" the card said... so, I'm a native Texas cowgirl - born & raised - and my favorite team is, of course, the Dallas Cowboys. So, 50 cool points earned already! Agui assessed the tree, explained what type of tree it was, what was happening to the trunk, how to best get it down, and my options for the wood. He even suggested that we leave the stump to use for decoration. He beat the lowest estimate I'd gotten over the past year (even when offered a military "discount"), and then said, "If you want, we can do it right now." Then he started playing with my French Bulldog puppy, Stymie. What?!?! It took my brain a minute to catch up... friendly, punctual, knowledgeable, thorough, patient, affordable without any haggling, liked by animals (so he's got a genuine spirit), AND he's ready to start working RIGHT NOW?!?? I thought maybe I was being punked. But I was NOT! I gave him the go ahead, he and his crew got started, and they were done by 3:30!!! And... wait for it... Agui had put my sister's big, beautiful, HEAVY, hummingbird pot ON THE STUMP for decoration!!! He accepted my payment via Zelle, said goodbye to my dogs, and told us to call him if we needed any help with the logs. (I have way too much fun using a chainsaw) Who are these superheroes and where can I find more?!? You will NOT regret hiring this crew!!! I'd recommend them a thousand times over!!! I have used Agui and his company Cowboy Tree Care two times. At first, the high winds of a storm earlier this year took a tree down in our yard, and Agui responded right away. He was there the same day, with a team, a truck, and a woodchipper, and made quick work of what was a very sudden unfortunate event. Agui recommended removing a few other trees, which at the time I procrastinated, and just recently during our 2025 snow day, those very same trees came down. Of course. I reached out to Agui first, and he responded within the hour and visited our home later that day. The very next day Agui came to the rescue again with a big team of highly skilled arborists. They removed the fallen trees, removed a few others (this time I heeded the early warning), and we cut back long branches that were reaching the house. Agui is fair, friendly, respectful, very knowledgeable, very communicative and so are the members of his team. They are all fast, hard working individuals. The prices are fair and the services are top notch - getting the job done fast, cleaning up their mess after them, making sure I was happy with the work, and not causing any further damage or our property, fences, or anything else. I truly appreciate Agui and the team at Cowboy, am fortunate to have a new friend in the arbor business, and will absolutely reach out again the next time I have a problem I can't fix myself. **Agustin and the Cowboy Tree Care dream team are the real deal.** I had a genuinely complicated tree situation -- a tree wedged between a retaining wall and a chain link fence it had grown completely around, AND entangled in four of my neighbor's power lines. Removing the stump wasn't an option, but I needed the growth stopped before it took down my retaining wall entirely. From the first conversation, Agustin didn't hear problems -- he heard a plan. A team of five showed up, listened to every one of my concerns, and got to work with total professionalism. The whole job was done in under an hour. Smooth, efficient, zero drama. The detail that really got me? I mentioned I wanted Tordon RTU applied to the stump to stop the roots. I was about to order it from Amazon and push the whole job to next week. Agustin wasn't having it -- he ran to Tractor Supply himself and was back with the product by the time his crew finished up. He didn't just solve the tree problem, he solved the *logistics* problem without me even asking. I cannot recommend this company enough. Sometimes Fate will give you a break, as it did for us this week, working with Cowboy Tree Care LLC. Agui C. was quick to reach out , quick to come give an estimate, quick to start the job, and quick to finish. The bid was very reasonable, which allowed us to expand the project. The 6-person crew worked with little pause for 10 hours one day, and a partial crew returned to take down the final 2 trees, clear the lot, and chip all the wood we didn't want to keep for the fireplace. A dramatic transformation of an overgrown backyard with 8 leaning, tall pines to a clear lot for us to design our ideal garden. Trees gone; ivy/honesuckle/privet gone, brush gone. Daniel and the Cowboy team did a phenomenal job from start to finish. Prompt response after submitting the project request in yelp, showed up the next morning right on time, and won me over with his passion and expertise in tree care. They executed today - full tree removal, trimming, and stump grinding - of multiple different types of trees (maples, poplars, oaks, Japanese maple), some of which were in some hard to reach / delicate locations - and did so with the utmost care for our house and property. They left everything as if they'd never even been here. All of this for an incredible price (got 3 other quotes from north Atlanta tree care companies) and they were the best. Mr. Augustine came out to evaluate damage to trees in my front yard after the bad storms during the week of 7/28. He was knowledgeable, responsive (fitting me into his schedule, letting me know expected time of arrival for the appointment, letting me know when he was 25 minutes away), and very helpful. He knew what he was doing and he was very professional. Also extremely affordable. We had the immediate need because of the storms but I also plan to have him come back out in a few months to do some additional work. Hurricane Helene damage in Martinez, north of Augusta. Responded to a knock on my door on Wednesday, got a quote early in the evening to clean up the downed and damaged trees and the debris left by the guys who removed the two large trees that had fallen on my house. They showed up about 8:15 Thursday morning, and by 5:30 they had everything down by the road for the county to pick up. It was a little more expensive than I was hoping for, but in the end they did more than they initially planned for the quoted price. I'm pretty happy with the results. read more
