I really can't say enough good things about this business. Late Tuesday night I heard a gigantic crash and an oak tree had ripped down another one and they fell on my roof and through my whole yard. I called this place on Wednesday and they were able to remove them entirely by Thursday. I am blown away. There are tarps over my roof now and they did an excellent job cleaning up the yard. I am so thankful no one was hurt, and it was an extremely big job. I will include some pics but they really don't do it justice because these trees were SO huge. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Very very very highly recommended! SHORT -- Great job and extremely competitive in terms of service, skill set and professionalism of the team, quality, prices (and they deliver what they say they will), plus highly responsive. Have already recommended them to everyone. In a time when many are cutting corners, raising prices but also lowering quality, this is still good old fashioned quality service. I am very pleased with my experience and would gladly would spend the money again. LONG WITH SPECIFICS: I knew I didn't want to continue to have the dark house surrounded by decaying trees and no light. I wasn't sure which trees would make the most impact so I called an arborist from a different family-owned business. They gave me a $27000 estimate to remove ~9 trees and prune 5. I knew it was tomfoolery (either because of my home, gender, or other traits) but I chose to shop around. Erin came out as an arborist and nothing more. She talked me through my situation and listened to what I was trying to accomplish, plus actual RISKS to my property (foundation, driveway, critter access to the roof, safety). She told me to think about it and follow up if I wanted an estimate -- but never pushed. When I reached out, Erin made a thorough but conservative recommendation that actually helped me save a tree I really like. I added one more tree once I realized it hadn't flowered in 2 years and was in decline. The job was done as scheduled and the conservative approach made 200% improvement. Erin came onsite while the team was working, answered my random questions and followed up immediately after. When part of my driveway got damaged the crew lead told me PROACTIVELY before the team left for the day during our walkthrough. The driveway chip was repaired until it was right. Oh and two things stood out -- Lamar told me that he was glad to see me being proactive and that my neighbors didn't care for their trees. He specifically pointed to one neighbor's tree that he thought was in really bad shape. Two days later that tree FELL. My neighbor hired a team to remove it and I could tell the difference in service right away. If I was worried about the investment before (and I wasn't) this was confirmation. Another thing -- three weeks before Top Tier started the work (rain delays) friends saw a tree in my yard and told me it would fall. They recommended Top Tier Trees. When I told them Erin had already come out they "approved" based on her quality reputation. Listen-- I no longer enjoy writing reviews but this business deserves the feedback -- and so do potential customers. If you're a researcher like me who doesn't want to haggle & will gladly pay for honest, quality work... this is the way to go. TTT wasn't the cheapest, but they were the absolute best. It's not my first time hiring a tree company but they are the only team I will ever hire again. Don't hesitate. read more

I can't speak to tree removal work itself as I did not get trees removed, but Erin came out to take a look and she was very kind, on time, and explained things well. David and Lamar are a class act. We were referred to them by neighbors and saw other good reviews. They are arborists who provide an overall service to enhance your landscape and are not just tree choppers. After a couple of consultation sessions, David provided a clear itemized proposal and highlighted priorities starting with safety hazardous, nuisance, and cosmetic. It was so helpful to know what we had to do, and what could wait. We had multiple "bids" and we selected them based on their ethical business practice, reputation, and that they were on Trust Dale. They even provided great advice in terms of getting HOA approval, informing neighbors, and what if scenarios. On the day of the project, the crew were professional, were equipped with what seem to be all of their necessary PPE and did a fantastic job cleaning up after the work was complete. Great service grinder down all my tree that had fallen recently. They came when they were scheduled very patient with payment

I called Top Tier Trees to possibly help grind leftover roots and some new growth after a large birch was removed (by someone else). WOW! The gentleman who came for the estimate had the stump grinder with him and was able to do the work right away! The difference between this work and the previous (again, someone else) was dramatic, Top Tier Trees ground up the entire (approximately 10'x10') area to an incredible and delightful depth. He worked the grinder with a remote with impressive expertise. Such professionalism too, he washed himself up after with my hose so as to be perfectly presentable for the next job, and even blew the loose dirt from the treads off my driveway! The cost was totally reasonable, truthfully I would've paid more for such fabulous work. If I ever need any tree services again, no hesitation, I'm calling Top Tier Trees! read more

While doing some "vista pruning" next door on a home that is being updated, the owner agreed to let me pay for removal of two pine trees that were impeding my lake view. Top Tier did both jobs at the same time and I thought they did a very professional job. Price was reasonable as these were bigger than I thought! I would also point out that they used some equipment I have not seen before to haul the cut pieces to the front of the property. That involved placing rubber mats from the front of the house to the back yard. If you had a lawn you cared about that equipment would have destroyed it without those mats. We have used them a couple times and we're very happy. The last time we true dot use them a tree had fallen in our backyard but was hung up on another tree. We called to get them out and the soonest that was available was a few days later. They looked at pics and assured us it shouldn't fall and to stay away from it. It was hovering over our fence and we were worried about losing the fence. David came out a few days later and talked to my husband. He said he could take care of it really quick so that our fence wouldn't be damaged. He had to go get a saw or something from another site but he'd be back. He didn't come back or call. My husband had to call him hours later he said his truck got stuck or something. Well the tree fell on the fence that night. He said he would stop by to see if there was anything he could do to help. Never came back. It's unfortunate because I really liked them and referred them to friends and also have to spend a lot on fence repairs. read more
