In the beginning, everything went well and I would have given them 5 stars but unfortunately our experience took a turn for the worse. We had them come out and give us a quote. They gave us a reasonable price so we decided to give them our business. They came out and cut down the trees in 1 day (we had 35+ large to medium sized trees with several smaller ones). They chipped up most of the small stuff into mulch and that is when the issues began. I came home and noticed that their bobcat had cut ruts in my back yard even though they were supposed to put plywood down to keep that from happening. They also placed some of the larger logs they couldn't chip up on the front lawn and scooped some chunks of grass out of the lawn in the process. After that, I talked to them and they agreed to fix the issue. However, now it has been months and they still haven't fixed the grass. Every time I contact them, they set up a time to come out and take a look and they won't show up to the appointments. If you use these guys to cut down your trees make sure you don't give them a dime until all of the damage is fixed, no matter how minor. Otherwise, they will probably never fix it. read more

I got quotes from 4 tree companies to remove a few tall trees in our bkyd in Sandy Springs. The trees were close to the house and each were well over 50' -60' tall. Price was one of our factors, but so was responsibility and experience. After a week of considering all our options, we felt the right people for the job was AAA. They came out today and did everything we expected and more. Their brave crew were all well trained, respectful and professional. They were right on time with all their equipment in clean, working order. Tree removal IS DANGEROUS WORK ... Erik Miller and his wife came out to give me an estimate. I received a couple others but his was the only one that wasn't written with details of the work. I got sick and reached out a month later when I was better and asked if I could get a written estimate to make sure we were on the same page about the work. He said he was busy with people that had trees fall down during the storm and pushed me back for a month. He finally gave me a date and time to come out to write a quote. The day before, his wife called me and said that Erik didn't have time to come for a quote. She said that even if he did, they'd charge me an additional 40% to the initial quote. She was hostile and unprofessional. I suspected there was something shady with their unwillingness to write it down but I appreciate that they showed me their true nature before I got money involved. I've used or dealt with about a half dozen tree removal companies over the years for large and small jobs. AAA Tree Experts is the best I've seen. AAA recently removed and trimmed several trees from my yard and near my house. You can tell by watching them work that they know what they're doing. Everyone seemed to do their jobs eagerly with little or no direction and there was a great deal of camaraderie amongst the crew, which indicates to me that they're well trained and well led. I've seen crews bickering with each other while they work and supervisors having to "motivate" their workers -- these things don't inspire confidence when they're felling giant trees next to your house. read more

But Erik Miller, owner and certified Arborist won our trust and ultimately our business. His foreman, Jaime is like a modern day Tarzan...so talented and his crew is just awesome!! We have a wooded lot and they had to hand cut a huge 50+old and sick tree and prune a bunch of trees that hung over our roof. They did a fantastic job, pricing was very competitive, they cleaned up immaculately (even blew off our roof, driveway, back yard, etc), they were on-time, and super friendly. I was surprised in the differences between five estimates that I received to remove an 80-foot pine tree in my backyard. There was more than $1250 difference between the lowest and highest bids. The job looked pretty easy to me with the right manpower and expertise. My requirements were that my back an front yards be preserved and they do not damage either the adjacent tree or the small building next to the pine tree. Three companies I contacted wanted to cut off the front limbs of the adjacent tree (or cut it down, too), which was unacceptable. One company, who my neighbor used, wanted to pile the tree and debris in my front yard to be picked up sometime later, which was also unacceptable. Erik, with AAA Tree Experts, was the only one who planned for his crew to remove the tree with the least amount of damage and haul all the debris off immediately at a reasonable price. Their bid was only about 40% higher than the lowest bid and in the middle of the five. In 2.5 hours, the crew of 8 removed the pine tree, hand carried each piece to a chipper-truck, cleaned up the mess, and blew and raked my whole back yard and street. Wow! Nothing that I could see was damaged. In fact the only evidence of the job is a low stump where the pine was. There are a lot of companies in this area. I recommend to anyone to not settle for one that does not do exactly what you want or seems too high of price. Five estimates is probably not unusual. read more

These guys are spectacular from start to finish. Prompt follow up with quote with real interest in solving our limb pruning project at a reasonable price as opposed to under/overselling. Scheduling was painless and quicker than we expected. On site team was very prepared organized and professional. With large limbs it was Expected to have something to get damaged like landscape lights or wind chimes or ground cover. Can't see any lasting damage or impact. It's like they were tree surgeons. They were very efficient and professional, removing a 24-inch diameter, 70-foot tall pine, being careful not to damage driveway, house, or even a small native shrub. They also top-trimmed an overgrown laurel cherry. All debris was removed. Stumps were ground a few days later. Your Review Eric Miller was terrific in giving me a fair quote and performing the entire job efficiently and in a timely manner. His crew of 8-10 did a phenomenal job on the entire project and the clean up afterwards was great. They removed many trees and limbs for us. They were: two large 20 ft. Colorado Spruce trees that were diseased and becoming diseased; a tall poplar tree leaning towards our home, as well as another thorny tree next to it that was dying; a 40 ft. (if not taller) dead oak that had already begun dropping heavy limbs near our home on the driveway; and removed some heavy hard to reach limbs that were rubbing against a tall pine tree and damaging it. The entire crew showed up ready to work hard, and they definitely did just that on our project. They arrived with the mulching tree chipper, lots of cords and saws, hard hats, etc. Eric did not take a deposit up front, but rather did the job and made sure I was pleased with the final product...which I most definitely was! Eric gave me copies of their insurance coverage, contract for the job, and arborist information, since he is a certified arborist. He and I walked through the entire job description of what we wanted from the start, and then again at the finish. He made some recommendations of trees to plant in the spots they had removed the giant spruces; his wife was lovely to interact with as well. Eric was prompt in returning phone calls, following up, and making sure we were pleased with the final outcome. We HIGHLY recommend AAA Tree Experts. Fantastic experience with AAA Tree Experts, from start to finish. Erik was responsive to my request for a quote and was at my house when he promised to be there. There was no high-pressure sell (like a few other companies that I got quotes from) - very straightforward quote and recommendations on what needed to be done and what else was optional. I didn't feel like I was being overloaded with tree "lingo" or anything too technical. The crew and Erik arrived on the service date as promised and were super efficient in completing the work, keeping me informed thru out the day about the project and progress. I needed to have six sweet gums, a poplar, and two mid-sized trees taken down; two sweet gums were wedged between mine & my neighbors houses and two sweet gums were in my backyard. I received three quotes- all came in within $300 of each other. I picked AAA because Erik & Molly explained the entire process, did not try to upsell me, and pointed out potential damage to other trees & shrubs in the yard. Erik, Javier (owner), and Jaime (crew leader), along with 9 workers, showed up on time at 8:00am and finished the entire project by 6:00 that afternoon. The crew left selected trunks and limbs where I requested & shot the wood chips into a space I didn't think they could reach. Next day the stump grinder arrived and did his job well; the next day Javier returned for a final inspection and spent over a hour reassembling my fence which had to be taken down for the backyard access. We had an urgent need for a tree to be removed before it fell on the neighbors house and sent an even bigger one crashing into ours. We had gotten an estimate last week from another company but they couldn't cone out for anther week. With all the rain i was worried we would end up with an even bigger problem! He prioritized the trees that were fully and partially dead and then reviewed recommendations based on the positive growth of adjacent trees and overall aesthetics. This gave me ability to work within our budget. Once I decided to contract AAA Tree Experts, they were very quick to respond and brought a crew sized to complete things same day. The crew was beyond reproach, completing everything to my satisfaction and beyond. I did not need to remind them of anything or ask them to go over work. They cleaned up the site (down to the smallest sticks) and used a blower to clean the pathway and my driveway of all sawdust, even replacing my solar lights exactly where they were moved from.
