I need a tree and some shrubs removed along with light grading to prepare for sod install. I got a response to my quote request within a few hours and called back to setup an appointment. To my surprise, they were not too far away and came over within the hour. After describing what was needed, I was told they had an opening in the afternoon to handle most of the work. Most companies were giving me two weeks just to get a quote! They got the big stuff done the same day and cleaned up. No more tree, no more shrubs! Excellent job. Dereck Coleman and his crew did an amazing job cutting down 4 large trees in our yard and trimming up several others. The quote was exactly the price we had been hoping to pay, lower than others received in the past. Dereck called me back right away after submitting my information online - one other tree company never even called me! The large crew showed up on time/early and Dereck was on site the whole time to answer questions and make sure things were running smoothly. They cut down trees in our neighbors yard that same day - and another neighbor was so impressed that they signed them up on the spot. I find the negative comments about them hard to believe. The work they did for me was done to my satisfaction and they cleaned up the area quite well going so far as to blow off my entire roof even though their trimming would have only affected one corner. Good work at what I believe was a reasonable price. I also spoke with Eric about the septic tank situation and, for what it is worth, he said that the customer filed the claim months after his crew was there. read more

When my new neighbor hired AAA to trim some trees in his yard, I took note of how quickly and efficiently their team began working. After seeing the scope of my neighbor's project, I called to the job foreman and asked him to quote removal of an additional trees since he was already there. After explaining what would be required to remove the additional tree (which was overhanging my fence by about 10') behind the house and his suggestions on pruning some trees in front of the house, we quickly agreed to do the work. Within just a couple of hours their crew of 6 had removed the additional tree, pruned the neighbor's trees, and moved all of their equipment to my yard to start working on the trees in front. When they were done and all the branches were chipped, they brought out the brooms and leaf blowers and cleaned my WHOLE YARD! All of this was done in about 5 hours without any damage or sign of them being there. I would absolutely recommend these guys and/or hire them again. read more

Found them through Yelp, Dereck came over quick and spent a good amount of time walking with me for the estimate (I had a lot of trimming work). I liked that he cared about the long-term health of the trees, unlike some others who were ready to chop off half the tree. Their quote was good (I got 2 others) - not the cheapest but not even close to the most expensive. When Javier and his crew came over (right on time, just as promised) they again walked the property to make sure of no mistakes, then went to work. A half day later, several thousand dollars of work was done (I had a LOT of trimming!) absolutely perfectly. And nice guys too! They cleaned up really well, too. I like they're a small company and pretty much the whole company shows up, maybe a dozen guys. I would definitely hire them again. read more

AAA Tree Experts removed two large partially rotted trees from my front yard yesterday. Despite being assured by Erik Miller, who provided the estimate, that there would be no damage to the surrounding trees, shrubs and lawn, I was skeptical. At the beginning of the job, Erik met onsite with the job foreman to go over the work and to introduce him to me. The crew then formed a circle and went over the job with the foreman. What followed was an amazing display of expertise, safety, care, coordination and teamwork. Ropes, slings and zip lines were quickly deployed and everyone seemed to know exactly what to do. Throughout the entire job, there was no loud whistling or shouting of instructions and everyone eagerly pitched in to help each other. The job was done perfectly with no damage and no additional cleanup required. INTEGRITY: I called them today because I was worried that a split three trunk was a safety risk for my family. Kyle was sent within a couple hours to assess the situation. Kyle was able to quickly 1) Identify the specific type of tree, 2) Share that this type of tree usually doesn't break away where the trunk splits into two leads, 3) Educate me on the tree's vitality, and 4) Provide some options for which specific branches I may want to consider removing. Kyle provided me with a quote that I can call back with later. A lot of tree experts will say, "yes we need to cut that tree down" for the profit motive. It takes a company with integrity to provide an assessment on their dime and honestly report that your situation isn't necessarily an emergency. I will use them and refer them because they are trustworthy. read more

Professional operation top to bottom, start to finish. This is a tough industry with a lot of bad experiences. Through this whole process Erik & his team were professionals. My situation is a little different than a lot of reviews I read through - mine centered around a lot of pruning & a huge tree limb that fell onto the yard vs. taking down a bunch of large trees, so I really appreciated the same top tier treatment. Team showed up early, all in lime green clean shirts, modern maintained equipment, large crew. Team seemed to really care about their work - they didn't just hack off the lower branches and move on, they really cared about the symmetry of the tree & making it look good when finished. They also treated each type of tree differently based on expertise. They cleaned up everything as they moved from tree to tree. Very fair price for all they did. Will definitely use again. They do it all - including stump grinding. I didn't use that this time around, but it's great to know I have one place to go for all tree related needs. I had an emergency situation where about half of a very large tree had fallen into my yard and strewn heavy branches and debris all over the side of the road that was a major hazard for vehicles and pedestrians coming by. With more severe storms in the forecast, I was also at serious risk of having the rest of the tree fall on my home, and the tree and branches had to go, immediately. I called a number of tree services that offered "same day" or "emergency" branch and tree removal services, but none of them actually were able to come through on that, and I was getting more and more desperate to get the situation resolved. Then I called AAA Tree Experts. I reached Erik immediately and he was literally at my home within 10 minutes. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous, and he had a hardworking crew out there within an hour to remove the branches, the tree, and another tree that I didn't even realize was also at risk of falling on my home. They also removed some huge unsightly bushes in front of the house, and trimmed back several other trees. Erik was extremely fair on the price and offered me a 5% discount when I asked for one. Highly impressed from start to finish. My fiance and I are new to the Chamblee area and stumbled across AAA on Google after noticing a large hollow and cracking tree in our backyard. We decided immediately that this tree needed to go. We contacted them and expressed our concern as this tree was leaning toward our new home. Erik Miller and his wife Molly arrived same day and performed an Arborist assessment in order to approve the removal of the tree by City of Chamblee. Once onsite, Erik and Molly instantly realized this was an emergency and had a team of professionals working within the hour. The tree was approximately 70 feet high and 2.5 feet in diameter. They finished within 2 hours and left a neatly cut stack of wood in our backyard per my request. Not only did they not damage my yard, porch or home, but they also left the area cleaner than they found it. Our backyard is tight and has minimal margin for error when dropping limbs. I caught myself watching them through the window as the process and finesse in which they worked was truly impressive and, honestly, fun to witness. To top it all off, the job was very reasonably priced (this coming from someone on a tight budget who just bought a home, has an upcoming wedding, and a honeymoon to plan).
