However, after my first visit here, I now have ZERO apprehension about going to my bi-annual cleanings/check ups. I have never met a better dentist than Dr. Bentley. My dentist of 20 years in Grapevine retired and I found this practice based on all the positive comments on Yelp and social media. I was not disappointed. I just completed having a tooth extraction and a crown replacement and both procedures went like clockwork. Dr. Bentley talks you through the whole process so you always know what to expect and his personality has a way of keeping you calm. He is very knowledgable and presents all your options for you to make the best decision based on the facts. A few months ago, I found Dr. Tillman from his reputation with patients. They explained to me that they run insurance estimates prior to, and that all payments would be required in advance or upon service. I had prepaid the amount quoted and then had some needed dental work done on top of that. Prepaid both times, and was told on my last visit that I was square. Turns out that wasn't true and now they claim I owed money from my first xray visit. Why wasn't this brought up on the follow up visit? Or the visit after that for corrections to the initial work? They will essentially balance bill you and say it was an estimate. I also had an appointment scheduled this week (for today), but they didn't have me on the schedule. Dr. Tillman personally called me on Jan 3rd to follow up on the remainder of the treatment plan HE recommended. Someone got confused and didn't add me to the schedule and they have no record of it. Funny how I have the voicemail and phone record for it. Dishonest and disorganized is how I'd summarize it. Dr. Tillman clearly cares for his patients, but something is disorganized and it's not me.

Terrible experience…read more I normally do not leave reviews, and I am usually willing to let a bad experience go without saying anything. However, this experience was significant enough that I feel it is important to share what happened. This was my first visit to Fort Worth Dental. No dental treatment was provided. I left the appointment without receiving the care I came in for, yet the practice still submitted a claim to my insurance. During the appointment, I was accused by the dentist Dr. Pham three separate times of drug use based on the condition of my teeth. I do not use drugs. I also do not believe the condition of my teeth was severe enough to warrant such an accusation, particularly from someone who had no knowledge of my dental history. What I found especially unprofessional and ignorant was that, after I corrected the accusation, it was repeated rather than acknowledged and moved past. As a patient, you have to trust your dental provider to listen to you, respect you, and approach your care professionally. I felt that trust was violated during my very first visit. Patients should be able to seek dental care without being subjected to unsupported accusations, particularly when those accusations are repeated after being corrected. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this practice to anyone who values being treated with basic respect, professionalism, and trust. The dentist was confidently incorrect and made the entire situation extremely unprofessional.

When I realized it had been two years I figured I'd better get with the program. I checked my insurance for offices close to home and Dr. Batton's name came up. I could literally walk here if I wasn't a lazy bum, so decided to give them a shot. From the moment I spoke with Gena to schedule my first appointment I knew I'd love the place. She was extremely helpful, upbeat and genuinely nice. When I arrived she knew who I was before I said anything, so apparently she has ESP (or she's intelligent and aware enough to put two and two together). I waited just a few minutes before Christie, the dental hygienist called me back. On the phone I told Gena that I had spinal surgery 6 weeks ago and Christie was already aware of my history. She was concerned about my level of comfort and continued to inquire throughout the visit. Christie was very easy to get along with and did such a great job cleaning my teeth. I love the way they feel right now :) The dentist I saw was Dr. Wilkinson. When he came in we talked for a moment before he examined my teeth and I found him to be both professional and caring.
