However, this experience was significant enough that I feel it is important to share what happened. This was my first visit to Fort Worth Dental. No dental treatment was provided. I left the appointment without receiving the care I came in for, yet the practice still submitted a claim to my insurance. During the appointment, I was accused by the dentist Dr. Pham three separate times of drug use based on the condition of my teeth. I do not use drugs. I also do not believe the condition of my teeth was severe enough to warrant such an accusation, particularly from someone who had no knowledge of my dental history. What I found especially unprofessional and ignorant was that, after I corrected the accusation, it was repeated rather than acknowledged and moved past. As a patient, you have to trust your dental provider to listen to you, respect you, and approach your care professionally. I felt that trust was violated during my very first visit. Patients should be able to seek dental care without being subjected to unsupported accusations, particularly when those accusations are repeated after being corrected. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this practice to anyone who values being treated with basic respect, professionalism, and trust. The dentist was confidently incorrect and made the entire situation extremely unprofessional.

Here is the issue: They took panoramic x-rays, intraoral x-rays, a 3D image, and another kind of imaging I can't remember. This is unusual for just a cleaning and this alone took over an hour but I thought maybe they were being extra thorough, so I sat through it. The dentist comes in and basically sells a "product" to prevent cavities and the hygienist also needed to do a "deep" cleaning.These items together came out to approximately $900. INSANE!!! I have insurance and came in for a routine cleaning that is covered at a 100% every 6 months everywhere else. I had been sitting there for nearly 2 hours and my cleaning had not yet started, so I had to walk away. HUGE WASTE OF MY TIME AND A JOKE OF AN OFFICE. So, I called one of the receptionists and asked, "Is this dr is new ? She said no, and assured me he is experienced, I told her : " he spent more time putting in his gloves that examining her" and I repeated what the dr had said to me . That same day a different woman performed the cleaning, and she did very fast as well. If they do not have time to provide the proper care because they are overbooked themselves, why they schedule so many appointments ? I get charged the same amount by my insurance that no matter if the office is busy or empty.
