Cactus Flower

For an airport restaurant, this was pretty good. Though we had a long layover, so weren't in a rush as some might be... Cocktails were DELISH! I ordered the Chicken Sandwich and upgraded my side to Broccoli. Both were wonderful. Hung out at the bar and had an enjoyable time with some other folks from our weekend get together. Wasn't cheap, but pretty on par for airport restaurants.

I didn't get any food here but it looked good. I sat at the bar and got a couple drinks. Service e was fast and quick. Bar was good. Another airport bar for sure.

Good eggs Benedict and super fast. My meal was out in just a few minutes. Quite expensive though. $30 for eggs Benedict with avocado, taxes, and tip.

Good food for an early morning flight at Logan airport in Boston. - I'd recommend this compared to other breakfast options it was a solid good-tasting breakfast for a healthy start to the day. This plate delivers a satisfying, no-nonsense breakfast that hits all the right notes for comfort and flavor. The sunny-side-up eggs are cooked well--whites set with golden yolks that promise richness in every bite. They're the kind of eggs that beg to be paired with toast, and thankfully, the trio of toasted slices offers just the right crunch and warmth to mop up every last drop. The applewood smoked bacon strips are crisp yet meaty, striking a balance between smoky indulgence and savory depth. They anchor the plate with a bold flavor that complements the milder components beautifully. The fried potatoes with sautéed onions are a standout--golden, slightly crispy edges with a soft interior, and the onions add a sweet, caramelized lift that elevates the dish beyond basic hash. It's a rustic touch that feels both slightly homemade and thoughtfully executed. Service was very friendly attentive.

I have a morning flight and needed a coffee . This place has great coffee and a few TVs to catch up on the news this Saturday . Good service and airport ambiance .

Here's a photo of a $31.25 Caesar salad with chicken. Service was good. They had TVs and most of them worked.

Us on our wait our delayed flight enjoying a couple cold ones.

That's when we put the voucher to use as the Capiz is in the lobby of the hotel. We went for an early dinner. Walking into the restaurant, no one was there to greet us and there was no host stand. Finally, a server (who also turned out to be our server) told us to pick where we wanted to sit. We chose a four-top table. When it was time to order, we were dealing with a limited menu. I chose lobster quesadillas, which were listed under "appetizers". My husband chose the fish and chips. The quesadilla was sloppily made. Some pieces had hardly any cheese or lobster in them. Other pieces were overloaded with lobster and cheese. While it was all edible and the lobster was properly cooked, it still was underwhelming. My husband said the fish was well prepared, flaky and crispy at the same time. There were too many French fries, making the plate a bit messy. In a pinch, Capiz did fit the bill as we didn't feel like going far for a meal that day.

For my breakfast I had the avocado toast with a side of chicken sausage and my girlfriend had the oatmeal. It was a perfect way to start the morning. The avocado toast was delicious and the oatmeal hit the spot. The lounge had tables and a bar area with high top tables which provided plenty of space from other diners. Lastly, the hostess and waiter were excellent in taking care of us while dining.

We got the Thai chicken meatballs which were seasoned well and had the perfect amount of spice for the coconut green curry sauce. Their beet salad was also good, the shaved fennel and avocado really helped. For our mains, we got the cider brined Berkshire pork chop and the organic chicken. The pork chop was cooked perfectly, had a good sear/crust was juicy, really my favorite. The chicken was also delicious well, not dry and seasoned well. For dessert we had the orange cream pie which was the perfect finisher.

But the food is just ok. The 3 of us ordered 2 pastas (one entree size, one app size), and 4 or 5 apps and nothing was impressive. The pappardelle w bolognese was the highlight for me. The lemon ricotta ravioli was borderline cold by the time I cut into it which was really odd. The mozzarella was forgettable, but the pork belly was solid. The scallops that were on special were the itty bitty kind and just ok - mostly overwhelmed by whatever breading they were covered in. The best part was probably the deserts - I had the creamy Nutella something or other - and was really upset when I got to the airport in the morning and realized I left it in the hotel fridge /sad face. Crème brûlée was on point. If nothing else, their pastry chef is 100 on the land/sea/sky.
