The tree removed was in fairly tight quarters and not one structure surrounding it was damaged not even a scratch.The big Tree that needed trimming was way over do for that service and Elvis worked his magic and the tree was brought to life like a tree that is loved and cared for. We are so thankful for their professionalism and knowledge of what they were doing. The price for their service was MORE than fair, which we are so very grateful! Giving a five-star review to Elvis and the crew at Steel City. I called just after the tornado hit Highlands Ranch on June 22, 2023, as a tall blue spruce in our front yard had been uprooted and there were a lot of limbs that had been ripped off of other trees. Within an hour, he came by with an estimate for the work, I paid half down, and he promised to be at our place in either late morning or early afternoon on the 23rd. Elvis and crew pruned and extensively thinned out our two mature Autumn Purple Ash trees. His crew arrived on time. They completed the job and cleaned up the cut limbs within about four hours. The agreed upon charges were reasonable. Elvis obviously loves his work, climbing trees, and is a perfectionist. He gave us important information about maintaining the tree's health. We now have a canopy that will include mottled sun and shade instead of the total shade that previously made growing flowers difficult. JR was fantastic! Did an excellent job and at an affordable rate. He always kept in great contact and kept me updated on the project (tree removal done at a rental property). The work he performed was fantastic as well! Even when a limb caused damage to the fence, JR didn't hesitate and contacted me to inform me. Elvis and his crew did a fantastic job cutting down two aspen trees sitting on a retaining wall in our backyard. He was professional throughout the process and the site was cleaned up perfectly after he was finished. Our tree was fully mature when we moved in 10 years ago. It was desperately needing trimmed. Steel City Tree service arrived on time and completed the task quickly and cleaned up afterwards as well as hauled off the cuttings. We recently purchased this home with an elm and maple that presented some difficult decisions to this arborist. He stood up to the challenge and cleaned out all the precarious hanging branches around the power wires. The previous owners were obviously oblivious to the danger of the limbs and wires.
