If you want something trimmed they will help. Not sure if they will help you treat or diagnose a tree though.

Very prompt response and helpful Very reasonable price. Very quick delivery. We purchased a cord of wood and I'm attaching two pictures. The second one is the wood stacked. It's two deep. It was a lot of wood and I feel like I definitely got my moneys worth. read more

Truly a top notch company. Quick response to my inquiry, came and evaluated my needs, and gave an extremely competitive bid. Answered all my questions and concerns. Very protective of my property during the removal of my extremely large ash tree. Came when they said and completed the project safely and fast. I would recommend to anyone looking for tree services! I would use again! read more

JP came out and gave me a fair estimate to remove some small trees and trim 2 HUGE ones. Lisa called the next business day and got me on the schedule for the following day! A team arrived and got right to work. They made quite a dent in my overgrown backyard, removing a bunch of choke cherry trees and dead branches. The next morning, they were here bright and early with a bucket truck and a wood chipper, taking down 2 completely dead trees in the back and trimming the massive one out front of the house. They were super professional, very friendly and did a great job on the trees as well as cleaning up small branches and debris. I would definitely hire them to do more work for me at another property and would recommend them to anyone who asks! read more

Once again, great service at a fair price, knowledgeable staff with good communication skills and close attention to clean up. I will always call 5280 for tree work. read more

Had Robert and his co worker come out to remove broken branches after the recent spring snowstorm we had and they did a wonderful job. Took the time to access the damage and made sure all large branches were removed for the safety of our home and neighbors. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was cleared and cleaned up before leaving. We will be having them come out to do a deeper clean of our very large maple as soon as they can fit us into their schedule after dealing with the emergency work needed from this past storm. Thank you guys. read more

These folks were great. Scheduling was easy with Lisa. She's on top of things. They came in quickly and removed a large blue spruce that was close to the house. Professional, clean, and well done. I'd 100% use them again. Fair pricing and excellent customer service as someone else mentioned. read more

I got a very generous cord of wood delivered today from 5280 trees, good experience for sure. Jeff was great, arrived when he said he would, and wood is cut perfectly! Will be calling them next time I need wood. read more

They were always prompt and the communications were excellent, as was their work. I couldn't be happier!

We would hire again. The crew was able to come out before the scheduled date. Thank you Lisa. Our maple tree was overgrown with several dead limbs. It was a matter of time before something catastrophic happened with the wind and snow. Justin was amazing to watch while trimming, though a squirrel in our tree was not amused, flying right out of his nest trying to take Justin out. The team communicates with each other for safety. They went above and beyond cleaning up our yard and left it in better shape than we had it. The bid was EXACTLY what was billed. The cost was inline for a 65' Maple and what we needed done. I will add pictures soon! read more

Responsive, informative, fair and competitive pricing, and excellent customer service. Had 2 trees removed, cut close to ground. Branches were intertwined with high voltage wires. 5280 trees was above and beyond supportive and patient while i dealt with Xcel to ensure the job site safe. read more

I lost half a tree in the recent spring snow storm, and it fell blocking a road. 5280 came to the rescue and did a fantastic job removing the huge impediment quickly and professionally. I'd 100% recommend them for this type of work. read more

5280 removed a large siberian elm from my property that was in bad shape. From start to finish, I appreciated their honesty, communication and fair bid. They are just good people and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. read more

We had a great experience with 5280 Trees. We had a couple of companies come out and give us a quote. We spoke with the companies and were impressed with the knowledge of 5280 Trees and the services they were able to provide. We were planning on having them take down only one tree, but ended up having them take down two large trees. They were professional and did a great job of saving the plants, fences, and house that were very near the trees. When they were finished, everything was picked up and swept. Thanks 5280 Trees! read more

The crew did an excellent job! They took down an apple tree in less than 2 hours and did an excellent job cleaning up the yard. Very friendly and professional and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend :) read more

So happy with our experience with 5280 Trees. We hired them to trim two of our large trees and they discovered a large crack in one. Instead of trimming it, they recommended city forestry to look at it before we wasted our money. Turns out it had to come down and it needed to happen fast. Dustin and his team acted quickly and were able to come out and remove our tree in a crowded neighborhood with precision and ease. I was really impressed with how safe and accurate they were. They even accommodated my request to save a few sections that I will take to get milled. Highly recommend. read more

This company planted a tree that was near dead since day one. They came out after several months and sprayed it with some tree food and told me it was rare for one of their trees to die, but they also told me they rarely if ever follow up with customers so they don't really know how often it happens. I called again asking if there was anything that could be done, or perhaps we could look into replacing it with a tree that was alive, and they stopped communicating. Very disappointing - I would not use these guys if you want a tree that is healthy and not dead. read more

I'm happy with the tree and the planting itself so would work with them again on this piece. I do feel they could improve their communications with me though to set expectations of what is supposed to happen. We had a tree planted through this company. Day of the planting, we see a truck pull up from the nursery and the guy who drops off the tree is yammering on about how we have to dig the hole ourselves. I call the company with no response wondering if we had a serious misunderstanding. 30 minutes later, two men from the tree company finally show up and plant the tree. 3 hours later, the utility company comes out and plants flags 2 feet away from the tree but no message was delivered to us about how we were supposed to interpret the flags - are we in trouble? Were we supposed to call them first? First of all, please inform me exactly what is to happen that day: utility company needs to come to mark the gas lines so we don't trip those up (preferably before the planting and what happens if they aren't there before the planting?), and tell me that the person delivering the tree isn't the same person who plants it and make sure nursery delivery person doesn't give us the wrong information. Secondly, we had to do some serious hunting to get care instructions for our $1400 tree. The two people who did the planting gave us conflicting instructions, and once I got in touch with the owner, he kind of mumbled confusing instructions to me. Finally, the assistant emails me very clear instructions. I should have gotten that email in the first place without asking. Great tree and day-of service once we got down to it, but please PLEASE work on your communications. It's systematically failing. read more

I have to give a shout-out to the crew that removed my crabapple tree last week. There were tons of crabapples everywhere and they did a great job of cleaning most of them up, above and beyond expectations. One of the arborists took down the majority of the tree by himself while his teammates left to empty the trailer. They still have to come back out and grind the stump but I expect no issues. read more

We got several quote and they came in right in the middle. Easy to work with, knowledgeable, and didn't over-sell. They fertilized one distressed tree and pruned several others. All look great! Not too much or too little. We'll have them back next time we need tree work. read more

Worked with us to get on the schedule fast and completed the task efficiently and effectively!

I have hired a lot of bad tree trimmers in the past, and I have now learned from my mistakes. It was never, ever done properly before, and always cost an arm and a leg. These folks have the tools and team to do the work CORRECTLY, including one of those trucks that hoists them high in the air to get the damaged outer branches off your tree (which none of my other tree trimmers have ever done). I regret ever hiring any other company. Prices are reasonable, too. I will be having them do all of our tree work from now on !!! You need to book them in advance but they are WORTH THE WAIT!!!! FIVE STARS !!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! read more

On time for the quotes appointment, gave competitive quotes, accepted minor negotiation to match other company's quotes. Arrived on time for actual appointment with four staff. Got the work done quickly and effectively. Would recommend. read more

Dustin, Cameron, and Chantal planted three beautiful new trees in our back yard yesterday, which they had hand picked for us, and did an excellent job. They worked so well together as a team, were prompt, skilled and professional. They handled obstacles getting into a difficult space with equipment with perseverance and a can-do attitude. They were cheerful and friendly and it was a pleasure to do business with them. This was not our first experience with 5280 Trees. Last summer they removed an 80+ foot cottonwood form our backyard. Their skill was awesome, even hoisting the tree over the house. Again, professional and skilled, and they leave a job site pristine. We will definitely use 5280 Trees again. read more

They never respond or call you back....I would avoid them. I don't know if they even like tree's

This is the 2nd time we have used 5280 Trees this year. In August they removed a very large Aspen and two medium yews - great job. Last week (October) they trimmed the very large Maple in the front of the house. Excellent job. I always worry that too much or too little will be trimmed off the tree. Too much and my patio will heat up and garden will fry. Too little and those early snow falls could damage my lovely old tree. The 5280 Crew took just the right amount off my tree. My neighbor just finished planting a new garden partly under the tree. I requested that the crew be very careful not to damage the new plantings. Not one plant was harmed and the crew did a great job cleaning up. Thank you. Strongly recommend. read more

Would 100% use them again. Lisa was awesome with helping us schedule everything. Steve, Robert, and JP were fantastic to have removing the trees. SUPER professional and great people to work with. Everything was cleaned up and put back before they left and my yard looks amazing now. Thank you so much. read more

J.P. and the crew at 5280 trees did a phenomenal job for us. We had a tree on our Denver "hell strip" that needed to be removed by a city-approved landscaping company. 5280 Trees did a great job of removing and then grinding the stump. When they were done there was no trace of the tree. No wood shavings, no remnant twigs... nothing. Just some angry looking displaced squirrels who might possibly seek revenge. Friendly, accommodating, quick to respond and competitively priced, I'd recommend 5280 Trees in a heartbeat for all of your tree obliteration needs. read more

Amazing level of service. We had a tree fall on our driveway so needed it removed quickly. Dustin and his crew got back to us quickly and were the first to show up bright and early. They were able not only to quote on the spot but also able to do the job right then and there. They were quick and did a great job cleaning up all the debris. Dustin he gave some advice about other trees on the property. Would definitely use them again for our trees. read more

Nick and a very efficient crew from 5280 Trees arrived about 10 on April 5, 2022. When I asked approximately how long it would take to remove the tree, Nick said about an hour and a half. I was surprised, but they finished very close to 11:30. Watching Nick working in the tree and the well coordinated crew on the ground was amazing. They did a great job getting that very large Blue Spruce tree down even though it was close to the fence, and they also did a good job on clean up! read more

Outstanding job. Quote was next day, and when we scheduled the job crew was on time and did a fantastic job....especially with the cleanup. Will use again read more

Don't waste your time. I scheduled an estimate for a stump grind and dig out that went fine. Then I scheduled the stump grind and dig out. They did not show up. I called them up and was told that they had called me a couple time s to confirm, but I never called them back. I don't know if they called me, but I know that they never left a voicemail. She told me that she would check the schedule and call me back to reschedule. She never called me back. read more

Obtaining the right tree service is the best medicine for your blood pressure. Speaking w/Lisa over the phone was a pleasure and even as I write this review the crew is outside working. I am more than happy, I am grateful. As soon as they are finished and I will pay them before they leave, within minutes, I am posting this review because I am THAT pleased with the services of 5280 throughout the entire process. To Cameron and the crew, thank you sooooo much! read more

This crew was great. JP was at my house shortly after I contacted 5280, and provided guidance / opinions (of the non-push variety) along with a fair quote for several neglected trees on our property. The crew was professional, skilled, and efficient. And super clean - there's not a bunch of debris laying around the yard, which I appreciate. They're doing some additional work on our property, and I'll use them for any other tree needs I have in the future as well. read more

We had an Apple tree removed at our daughters home and a maple tree at our home trimmed and thinned out. The crew did a fantastic job on both and our yards were cleaned up and left in perfect shape . I'm glad we went with 5280 Trees! Price was fair and service was great ! We highly recommend them and we will most definitely use them again. Looking forward to getting the stump removed here in a couple of weeks. read more

I was just quoted $800 for a tree trimming on an Ash tree in the front of our house near the street. The gentleman that came out very nice bu expressed his guys are not certified arborist, except one of the owners who does not work on many of the trees. I am one that does his homework before I have any project worked on. I had 7 tree companies come out and this one was the most expensive price. Do you homework and don't just go off reviews. I am not sure how they determined their price but this is very high compared to 7 other companies that have been around for years and have certified arborist. read more

These people were great! We had a tree ready to fall on our neighbor's house and they came right out and took care of the problem. For what we considered a very fair price we then had them trim and shape the rest of our trees. We received an estimate that described what they were going to do, (no surprises...yeah!!), they showed up when they said they were going to, they took their time and trimmed the trees to perfection and then they did a really nice job of cleaning up. read more

After another tree company kept pushing our job further and further into the future, I contacted some other companies through Yelp. JP from 5280 Trees got in touch right away and came out within a couple hours of my initial contact. He was able to schedule the work pretty immediately--one week later and the work is done. I wish I would have started with them! They had a big crew show up, so complete trimming of three trees, and total removal of one large tree was finished in about 5 hours. They did a great job and cleaned everything up nicely. Everyone was friendly and careful and professional. I will use them again, and recommend them - they are affordable, competent, and reliable. read more
