Limb Walkers (LW) did a great job completely removing our 45 year old Russian Olive tree today! It was over 30 feet tall, and some branches were directly over our neighbors house! Although there was considerable potential for damage if any branches had fallen on their roof or wood fence, they were extremely cautious. They finished the job in about 2.5 hours and spent a considerable amount of time cleaning up the small twigs, sawdust, etc. They were very friendly. I highly recommend them. Also, before hiring them, they sent me a pdf of their current certificate of liability insurance policy, which was much appreciated! read more

Mark's reply is a lie. My wife speaks Spanish and she told me that she and my daughter were telling Mark's team what branches to cut. My wife said this companies employee's said they can't cut the branch down that my wife asked them to cut, then they went and cut the wrong branches down. Further my father, who is elderly and easily influenced, reports that the crew was trying hard to sell him the use of pesticides on the property and telling him what needed to be done. We know why, Mark makes a huge profit on pesticide spray. Don't fall for it. I even asked Mark to rebate the job and the pesticide and he said no. They did not offer to fix the problem at all. Use this company at your own risk, there employees are obvisouly paid to upsell once at the home. We are in Arvada, CO not California. Limb Walkers in Arvada, CO talked my elderly father into applying pesticide after we specifically agreed in writing not to do so. How can you fix that? We've been 100% organic for 10 years, ruined!!!! The chicken coop and vegetable garden are right under this tree! I asked for a refund, they said no! To make things worse, they cut down the wrong branches and didn't trim the three branches we hired them to cut. These guys are terrible, use another company, pay more, it's worth it. These cheap companies end up ruining your trees and trees don't grow back fast enough to be cheap. read more

Cancelled weeks after they said they could help, at which point they didn't even know what I needed. On April 2, I put a Yelp request for spraying trees in our backyard to prevent crabapples from growing. I have a spray, but not the ability to get to the tops of the trees. 3 weeks later, they still hadn't made an appointment to come out. There was no clear appointment time on the horizon. They repeatedly assured me it wasn't too late to spray. On April 23, after repeated texts and calls to them, they told me "it's not too late to spray for pests." When I told them the entire conversation had been about crabapples, they informed me there is no spray that can do that. I'm not sure how they'd explain what I have in my possession. Meanwhile, with the trees blooming it is likely we missed our window. Thanks for nothing, Limb Walkers. Needless to say, I don't intend to deal with this company again. read more

We had an appointment to have a tree trimmed on Thursday June 20 at 8 am. Mark called to cancel the appointment for Thursday (which breached our contract). Then took it upon themselves to reschedule for Saturday June 22nd. I was unavailable on Saturday so I called and canceled the whole service on Thursday afternoon giving them plenty of time to fill the slot. They are now billing us for a cancellation fee on an appointment we did not schedule or contact to have completed. read more

January 10, 2023 we contacted Limb Walkers over a large tree in our yard that had a major section of it that was dead and needed to be removed. Work was done and parts of the tree removed, but left the very large, obvious dead section of the tree right in the center of the project. We assumed that part of the tree must have been healthier than we thought and the trim would take care of the issue. Spring comes along and the tree is mostly green, except for that same major section in the center that continues to be dead and ugly that we had paid to have removed and was not. I reached out the Henry and Mark 10 days ago with a photo of the tree plus an explanation and asked if they agreed that this was clearly missed and how it could be made right. No response 10 days later has me leaving this review to warn others. read more

I wrote a review in 2018 noting the reason I gave them 4 out of 5 stars was the clean up was not very thorough. Well fast forward 5 years and these guys did a great job cleaning up a very messy job. Ash tree that suddenly dropped some major branches and did a lot of damage including my roof and fence. Called the evening it happened and Mark said they could come right out if I thought I needed that. Wow! Anyway, waited until the next day and it took them most of the day. But having a company so responsive is such a relief. I believe this is the 3rd time I have used them but the first in an emergency and comforted to know they made me a high priority. So 5 stars for great people (including Anthony), a great job, on time, cleaning up and knowing I can count on them. Oh, let me not forget Michelle. She's the one that answers the calls and coordinates with the customer before and after the job is done. Terrific person, very helpful, quick to respond and nice. Justin and Anthony did a great job trimming my trees. A number of things impressed me. They checked with me to make sure I liked what they had done. If I wanted a little more cut back on my junipers, as an example, they explained what the limits were, but accommodated my request, to the extent it would still look good and would leave the tree healthy. In a large old elm with a thick canopy, they hadn't noticed a dead section on the upper outside of the canopy, until after they had backed up the tree trimming machine. They unpacked the whole rig, which required a few steps, and went back and cut the dead section out, without complaint. Great service, well priced, I will use them again. read more

A big limb came down during the spring blizzard, and I didn't know if it had broken or just was flexible. Limbwalkers called me and came by to look at it, saying it was definitely broken and not safe. That afternoon a crew came to take it down for me. Excellent work and acceptable price. Update - they came back at 8am the day after my original post and did a great job removing the mulch. The work - when done - is great. Paid for tree and stump removal up front. Tree was taken down 6/25, but was told stump was too big to remove with the grinder they had. Stump stayed up for more than 5 weeks - called a handful of times and kept getting pushed back. Left a mess when stump was finally removed on 8/8. I called once after stump was removed and was told they're supposed to leave a "small pile" where the stump was. I explained this was no small pile and was told someone would come back, but almost two weeks later, still have the big pile. read more

We and our neighbors decided to band together to remove a giant tree on their property that overhung both houses, both power lines, and a privacy fence. Gigantic old elm with a bad bug infestation and a huge number of dead and dying limbs - total pain in the butt for years. We called several companies for estimates, and Limb Walkers won by miles. From start to finish, it's been a pleasure working with these guys. The initial estimate was thorough and really reasonable (below competing bids, and with attention to detail that really indicated they knew what they were up against). There were some hangups with their equipment not being available from the repair shop on time that delayed the job a few weeks, but the communication was great and the delay wasn't a big deal at all. The day they arrived, they were able to get through much of the tree, but had to call off a bit early due to a thunder storm. They have come back twice to finish cutting down the Beast Tree and finish cleanup, and I have to say I am so impressed with the professionalism of this crew. They clearly know what they're doing - it's been a lot of fun watching them work (I admit to feeling a bit like a kid watching all this big equipment and power tool stuff!). What the reviews say about cleanup is true - they are conscientious about how they bring things down, and provide excellent cleanup. They even took some extra brush I had from a smaller tree I chopped down! Cannot recommend Limb Walkers highly enough. They are skilled, professional, and pretty cool to chat with as well. I requested a quote via Yelp on July 25 for stump removal. I got a very prompt response from Henry C on Yelp, stating that they would email me the next day to set up a time and date. (I had requested an email rather than a call due to my hearing disability.) When I didn't receive either an email or a call, I reached back out via Yelp and asked if they thought they would be able to respond soon. I can see that my message was read, but there has been no response. I reached out again on July 28, asking if I should expect a response.
