This crew knocked it out of the park! We had a very overgrown neglected tree that another company said was going to be over $2k to trim and treat. Sunshade came in quite a bit less than that and did a phenomenon job at our business. The other thing I'll add is the tree was in a parking lot, so coordinating parking for our patients, was tricky. Brad and his team left our yard clean of tree limbs, debris, and they were very careful not to step on perennials growing near the three trees they were trimming: Russian Hawthorne, Blue Spruce and Autumn Purple Ash. His partner did an excellent job trimming the dead branches under our beautiful Blue Spruce without making the trunk bare at the bottom. This tree is probably 25' tall and the low hanging limbs are beautiful as they slightly grace our small pond and waterfall. I am a master gardener and am quite fussy about my landscaping. Brad and his crew were excellent from project quote to project completion. I got several quotes and Sunshade had the most competitive offer. Brad was able to find a time that was convenient for us. They trimmed and shaped a huge maple tree and removed a tricky dead cottonwood that was between our power lines and neighbor's fence. They did a great job on both trees, cleaned up everything nicely and taught me some pointers on how to keep my trees healthy. You can really tell Brad loves taking care of trees and knows his stuff. Sunshade offered us a very good price for our tree removal, and their service was exceptional. They were careful to avoid harming the fence directly under the tree; removed all debris including branches that we had removed from the tree awhile back; they were prompt, arriving the day we had agreed upon, and calling when they were on their way. The team got it done in a timely manner, and did exactly as we requested, leaving a foot-tall stump for our boys to carve into. Another company I had gotten a quote from looked for all sorts of things I "needed" done on our property, whereas Sunshade looked only at the tree I asked them to look at when giving the estimate, and when I asked about two other trees on the property to just hear their thoughts, they told me what they could do, but that it would probably be ok to leave the trees for now.
