This is the second time we've had them trim on our trees and it was an extensive job since our house is on a corner lot (6 total trees)... We've not had our trees trimmed for probably 5 years at least so they really needed it. Their estimate was quite a bit lower than the others we got (over $1k lower in one case). The crew did a great job, very happy that overgrown branches are no longer whacking against our house every time it gets windy outside! read more

Armando, Johnny and John were all so lovely. Showed up on time, were kind and did excellent work. Hiring them again in winter. read more

This tree company is wonderful! From the beginning I was impressed with this company. The competitive estimate and workday were both handled efficiently and professionally. The crew was polite and worked very hard, handling unforeseen problems with tact and sensitivity. They worked with this single mama to take care of my property without making me feel like they just wanted my money. Their genuine concern for the safety of my children with damaged trees overhead was very appreciated. I will be using only this company for all my tree needs in the future. (I have 9 large trees of different varieties) use this company and ask for Robert, Armando, and Johnny!!! read more

tldr: They didn't properly bid the job, blamed us, and insulted us after the job was done. Put a request in for brush piles to be removed. They never scheduled an appointment to come bid the work, all I got was an emailed bid for a set amount, which noted "pile(s)" in it, which was fine. The amount seemed very reasonable. I scheduled them to come out, and emailed a day before hand to remind them that there was two piles one in the front and one in the back, which they replied to let me know the note was added to the work order. Upon arrival to remove the brush they said it would be more money because they only bid one pile. If they would of set an appointment to walk the job with me it may have led to less confusion, plus the invoice made reference to potential "pile(s)". After a discussion they said they would do the work at the agreed upon price. Once the work was done they let us know of their displeasure dealing with my wife and I, adding that we had put more brush in the piles then when it was bid, as if we were there to pull a fast one over them. That was never the case. I would appreciate if they didn't call my wife a lair. I would have appreciated a proper appointment to bid the job. I would appreciate a discussion if they have any issues. We were willing to discuss the job, they refused, did the job begrudgingly, and insulted us on the way out. read more

John Egart's Tree service is the ONLY Colorado company to consider, when you need to remove dangerous trees and limbs. Robert came out and gave an estimate ,which we accepted the next day. When the crew showed up on time a few days later, we walked the property again to confirm what exactly was to be done. Within one day, John Egart's tree service had transformed our yard. They actually went above and beyond from what was agreed to, and there was no talk about extra charges for any audibles called on site. I offer my highest recommendation for John Egart's Tree service, and I hope you get the opportunity to allow them to transform YOUR home. read more

We had several 25-30 ft trees, about 8-10 inches in diameter that had been growing between the garage and the fence. The branches were also starting to interfere with overhead internet cables. I submitted an online request for a quote and within 4 hours I had a quote in hand. I also requested quotes from two other local companies. One never showed. The other took almost a week to provide a quote. John ended up matching the third company's quote even though I had expressed a desire to work with John regardless of whether he could match the price or not. The rapid service was worth the slightly higher quote. Within 10 days of my initial outreach, the trees were gone. It actually would have been done sooner, but my own schedule would not allow it. John's crew was courteous and efficient. They took down a small section of my fence to gain easier access to the trees. The crew did a great job of cleaning up the yard and replacing the section of fence that they moved. They informed me that John would be by later in the day with the wood chipper. Around 2 pm, I got a call from John asking if it would be OK for him to swing by the next day because the truck was already full. I said it was fine, and then realized that I had agreed to let him delay finishing the job even though I had already paid in full. I must say, I was a little worried that evening. But I was worried for nothing. By the time I got home from work the next day, everything was gone, just as promised. I highly recommend John Egart Tree Service. I will definitely be calling again when our giant maple in the front yards needs to be trimmed. read more

A very large tree limb suddenly crashed down through my gate and filling in my front courtyard. We could not exit from the front door. I called John Egart's Tree Service, and he was at my house within 90 minutes, removed the limb AND cleaned up the debris. All was taken care of within 4 hours of the tree falling. Super fast response! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tree was a large old maple. He let me know of the extensive damage to it and that it would have to come down. I was in a tight spot with needing to leave town in just a few days. It was a huge job and he understood the worry that I would feel with leaving a massive dead tree looming over my house while I was away. I also had them do a safety pruning of the other maple in my front yard. They did an excellent job all around, were honest and friendly! read more

John Egart's Tree Service - The branch when it first fell. This was removed as well as the entire large tree. - Tree Services Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Someone came out and quoted for a job. Once I saw it in writing I agreed to it via email and a message left on the phone. Still waiting for them to give me a call or email 2 days later. I hope they do come back soon as it's a good price and I really don't want to start the whole process again..will update if I have any news read more

Left voicemail, no reply. Put in a request, from their website, got a response... 1 month later. Too bad, I had the cash to do business, which I got an immediate response the same day with a company that wanted my business. read more

I only come on yelp to review the positive companies, and John Egart is definitely one that I will promote. We had 6 companies stop by to quote a tree removal and stump grind. John was the second cheapest company to quote us, and the $50 extra dollars was completely worth it. John himself came out the next day and took the tree down with his crew. He was an extremely friendly guy, grateful we chose his company, and took the time to talk about the tree with me and my family. The guy loves what he does, and that shows in his work. Highly, highly recommend him. read more

I took off a star. Armando was supposed to come back and remove some tree trunks for me. He never came or called.

I highly recommend John Egart's Tree Service. I called them on Tuesday to get a quote and they sent someone out the same day. The initial quote was a bit high, but John was happy to negotiate to get a price that worked for both of us. It's now Thursday of the same week and they have come out and completed the work. I appreciate the timely service, and the trimming itself was very high quality and they cleaned up after themselves. In contrast to the wonderful service I received from John and his team, other tree trimmers told me 1) it will take 2 weeks to come give an estimate and then 10 week until we do the work, or 2) we're too busy and don't want your business. John Egart knows about customer service and tree trimming. You can't go wrong here. read more

Does excellant work at fair prices. Cut down three dead trees and trimmed numerous large trees in a day. Has a good sized crew to get the job quickly and safely. read more

First of all let me say that I know nothing about trees. So not only did I get the storm damage taken care of (that was my goal), I also got an education about my trees. I called three tree services, and Egart's was the only one to call me back and actually get me an estimate. Bill called me personally and went over it with me. I appreciated his honesty about a big old tree that he said was just fine, didn't need any service. It did take about 2 weeks from the time I authorized the estimate to the time that I received it, and another couple of weeks to get the work done... I would have preferred a faster turnaround but I'm betting that all the tree services in town were busy after the storms we had this spring. Thank you Egart's for coming through! read more

John Egart's Tree Service is top notch! John is a true professional. His estimate was timely and he has an easy to work with demeanor. The estimate came in under what I was expecting and well under an estimate I had previously gotten in the early spring. The crew showed up a little late, but they got right to work and did a wonderful job on pruning an Ash tree, removing a Willow, and Cottonwood that have fallen on hard times. I would definitely use John's services again and I hope you will too! read more

Professional, courteous service by both John and his staff. We had to have 11 large trees that were diseased removed from our property as well as a lot of pruning of deadwood. Their estimate was 30% lower than other tree removal companies I had contacted. They arrived on time, they worked non-stop nearly all day, the clean up was tremendous but they left the yard raked and cleaned up. They made sure that I was consulted on what was needed to be done (eg. pruning up of some large trees) before it was started and was "kept in the loop" the whole time. Would highly recommend them. read more

Egart's Tree Service is the best in Denver! They are always reliable, responsive, and affordable, and the quality of their work exceeds anything I've seen by other local tree companies! They provide recommendations on tree care but also take into account their customer's preferences. Highly recommend Egart's for all tree and shrub needs!!! read more

I called these guys late on Labor Day because my huge apple had split in half. The owner called me back immediately, his guys came out the next morning at 7:45, fit me into their busy schedule and trimmed the tree the next day. They saved the tree and it looks great! And, the price was outstanding! Highly recommend this company, total tree huggers! read more

We couldn't have been happier. We were in Colorado helping my daughter with her house. Called one day, got estimate same day, work done next day with a polite and efficient and clean crew. Fair pricing. Plus they have a great sense of humor. We will use them again! read more

Staff just left from giving me an estimate and an assessment of our tree that we were under the impression it had to be removed. Prior estimates from others ranged closer to 800.00 for the removal. He explained why the tree removal was not needed at all AND he gave us information to help us make better decisions about the tree in the future. It is not 'just a tree' for it has been in our family for three generations. So it was not about just the money we would have paid for something unneeded but the loss of tree that we were bonded to for decades. So when I say, "Thank you John Egart's Tree Service!" sincerely it is meant. Given the outcome, I am not just happy I found this company but grateful. read more

In regards to Keith K, I bid the job, its said pile in front only, I called multiple times left a message and knocked multiple times with no answer so as the bid said front yard pile I bid it, no mention of any other pile, then 3 weeks later we did the job and there were now multiple piles with fresh cut trees that could not have been more than a day old, leaves look as fresh as a garden salad, if they would have been honest, I wouldnt have cared and most likely did the job for the same with no issue, but yes they did try to pull a quick one read more

I called John Egart's Tree Service to clear damaged trees and fallen branches in the courtyard of my HOA after a storm last winter. They fit me into their schedule quickly and were very prompt with their service. They cleaned up all the debris and discussed with me some other trimming that should occur for the health of the other trees on our property, all included in the quoted service charge. I was able to pay with a credit card over the phone and will definitely call them again for my arbor services. read more

John fit me in when I had a lightning strike on a tree in my yard that was now half in the street. Very professional service, and he is one of the nicest people I've met. This also saved me from getting a ticket from the city. I highly recommend this company. read more

John is a nice enough guy and did the work in fine fashion. The minute the last tree branch went in the truck I offered to pay him cash. He told me his office would just bill me. His office indeed billed me with the only payment methods being cash or check. Well I am not sending cash via the mail and I have not written a check in over ten years! These are the only payment options he has. Well it took me some time to find an old check book to write him a check. I did send him an a check although it took longer than he liked in which he was un happy about. I get that! What I don't get is that he was more interested in reading me the riot act on the phone about what a jerk I was for not getting him a check sooner even after I had cash in hand the day of the service which he did not accept? My advice to John is update yourself to accept modern day forms of payment! Obviously John and I will not be doing business together in the future (his choice not mine). read more

Outstanding. We're from St. Louis and visit our son a couple of times a year. Twice now we've hired Egart's to have trees removed for our son. Both times Egart's was affordable and they did the work the day they said they would. The owner and employees were polite, curteous and professional. They charged only what they bid, actually did a little extra work than was bid and did a super job of cleanup. I highly recommend them. I wish their area included St. Louis. read more

My husband called this company twice and left voicemails. No return call.

Great service had by Egart Tree Service! Work completed within two days of giving the go ahead! Thanks

After waiting 12 weeks+ for Rushton to trim my tree, I decided to give John Egart a try instead. He got me a quote within 3 days, and quoted a lead time of 7-10 days. They ended up finishing the work early, in only 3 days. Great service, great work. Highly recommend. read more

John and his crew can be trusted to handle any job with the utmost professionalism. They take pride in their work, stay true to their word and make the safety of everyone involved a top priority. Last fall they took down a large 85 year old elm tree for us. The tree straddled the property line between our house and our neighbor's house. Both houses were in danger of being damaged by the rotting tree and it was difficult to access. With their patience, diligence and expertise being tested at each turn they brought the tree down with no issues. They came on-time, finished when they said they would, and cleaned up after they were done taking the tree down. I recommend them without reservation! read more

I really lucked out hiring John to remove a 60 ft tree in my yard. He literally had the job done before anyone else even arrived to give me an estimate. Got the job done in one day and his pricing was very reasonable. read more
