Tree work can be stressful and expensive, so I did my homework and price-shopped during the off-season (especially with emerald ash borer being a real thing). Arbortec made the entire process refreshingly easy. Communication was fast and clear, handled mostly by email, with replies usually within 24 hours. No pressure, no upselling, no disappearing acts. They were happy to price match and even thanked me for the opportunity, which is rare these days. They've planted trees in our backyard, for my mom, and for neighbors too -- and every experience has been consistent, clean, and professional. The work is thoughtful, the crews know what they're doing, and the customer experience feels genuinely respectful. I'll absolutely be back in the spring for more trees. If you want competent arbor work without the headache or attitude, Arbortec is a great choice. read more

This was the 3rd or 4th time I've had Arbortec prune my trees, and, as before, I am really impressed by their workmanship. Today's crew of John and Alex did an outstanding job of removing the large ash tree from my backyard and pruning the silver maple in the front. I appreciate that they arrived promptly at 7 o'clock, were professional and polite, completely addressed my concerns, and did a top-notch job with cleaning up at the end. I will use them again in the future, when the need arises. read more

Excellent service prior years. On 9/2/25, Will came out for tree trim estimate on 2 large deciduous. I replied to his text on 9/8/25 with a few questions. He's never gotten back to me, and AT&T shows he read my message. read more

I was so impressed with their reponse to my initial review which was not 5 stars. Sent the crew back and corrected all the issues with no additional charge. This company truly takes care of their customers. read more

Great service, good communication, and excellent pricing (leave the site cleaner than when they arrived!!!).

Arbortec has taken care of me and my trees for years. Several years ago, during a wind storm, a VERY large blue spruce's roots damage my porch tiles. They came out and said that 'it was lucky that the ground was hard', or the tree would have come down on my home. Scheduled to take down the following week. The owner showed up the next morning, and said that he wanted to look at the tree. Felt it was too dangerous to wait until the following week. They were there the next day. I felt very taken care of!!! Just had Melesio and John out to remove a liliac tree, trim dead branches over the roof and lighten some branches on another blue spruce. They removed the stump and some additional dead branches (while they were there) on the spruce. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. and very kind. HIRE THEM!!! read more

We had a great relationship with Arbortec until the latest proposal. After spending over $16,000 on their services, the owner, Dennis J. Shea, abruptly stopped service when I asked him to verify the size of the arborvitae he planted. We paid $2,960 for 6 ft. arborvitae, but he planted 5 ft. ones. He refunded only $800 for the "perceived" differences and voided the warranties. Despite multiple requests, he refused to provide the invoice from the tree farm. If he was an honest person, he would have. Be cautious with this company; their professionalism is lacking. Consider a more ethical company instead. read more

Had a great relationship with Arbortec up until our latest proposal. After paying them over $16000 in services over the past few years, the owner Dennis J. Shea decided to stop service simply because I asked him to validate that the arborvitae he planted were the size I paid for. I paid $2960 for 6 ft. Arborvitae and he purchased and planted 5 ft. Arborvitae. Owner got frustrated and partially refunded me $800 for the "perceived" differences and then later stated the refund was for the warranties, which he voided on my plantings. He refused to provide the invoice from the Tree Farm. Be careful when dealing with this company, especially for planting -- it's likely they may try to scam you. Very unprofessional behavior from the owner. Avoid and go with a more ethical company instead. read more

Great trimming job, all tree work well done and an excellent clean-up! I highly recommend this company for the contracted outcomes, but not so much for touchy-feely. Declined my request for discussion, next steps, possible homeowner tips. I like trees. read more

Arbortec Tree...So awful...the owner Dennis Shea sent an uncertified and untrained employee to my home without scheduling or getting my approval for ANY work to be performed. This guy, Dylan Dobbins, did the worst "pruning" job I have ever seen done to a tree. He basically killed my favorite tree right in front of my home by cutting 50% of the healthy limbs out of it for absolutely no reason. He butchered three other of my beautiful mature trees. I am filing an ethics complaint against this company and probably having to sue them because of the damage to my landscape. What a nightmare. Arbortec tree service is the worst business on the planet. They aren't tree lovers, they love easy money. They say they love trees. I call BS. The only GREEN these guys care about is CASH. They will lie to you, come to your home without your approval, and the owner will send unskilled, untrained, and uncertified employees to your home to do permanent irreparable damage to your landscape!!! Call another tree company if you don't want your trees murdered. read more

Love this company, they do great work and the employees are friendly. Highly recommend them! You couldn't find an arbor company who cares more about their tree services and customers. They service the Denver area, check them out! read more

We had 2 very large cottonwood trees that were dangerously dry and damaged. We we were so pleased to have the amazing crew from Arbortec remove both. They meticulous cleaned the site and planted 2 gorgeous maple trees. We will enjoy these lovely trees for years to come! Great work! read more

Dennis, the owner, came to our home and spoke to me about some much-needed tree trimming. I felt that he listened to my concerns, and I received a reasonable estimate for the work. However, when I spoke to Nicole in his office to schedule the work (which was about 4 weeks out), she indicated that she could not give me a time or time window for the work until the morning of the work. Really?? This means that I could not schedule any of my personal activities that day because the crew could be there at 9 a.m. or 4 p.m. I moved on to another locally owned service, whose rep was pleased to not just give me a window of time, but rather an *exact* time that their crew would show up. I'm really not sure why other potential customers would put up with this lack of scheduling ability. read more

I've used Arbortec twice in the past 5 years; one was for a primary residence that needed bush pruning and a couple of trees removed. The second was for a rental property needing some minor pruning and a fast-growing tree removed. In both instances I have been very pleased with communication, lead time and work completed. I am glad to recommend them. read more

What an amazing company! These guys were booked out, had a cancellation and called us to complete our home early. They showed up and got the job done. Customer service was top notch and we were so appreciative for them getting our trees cleaned up. We purchased an older home that had over grown trees and was in desperate need of a clean up. Pricing was just right as well.Thank you arbortec! Would and will use again! Highly recommend! read more

We recently used Arbortec Tree Service to remove a tree from our front yard. I have to say that I was blown away by the service oriented attitude by this company and employees. They were very professional, courteous and really went the extra mile to ensure we were happy with the tree removal. They even raked tree limbs and used a blower to clear everything out of our yard and driveway! I would definitely recommend them and use them again should we need to. read more

I highly recommend Arbortec. They responded immediately to my calls; showed up when they said they would; performed the work in a very professional manner at a very reasonable price. read more

Great experience. Had a tree removed. They arrived as scheduled, very prompt, efficient, and cleaned up nicely. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience with Arbortec. Came to remove 3 big aspen trees and some large stumps. The guys were quick, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves really nicely! There were a ton of tiny twigs from downing the trees - they got every one. One of the biggest trees was back by the house, cornered by a fence, our house, and the neighbor's. They were very good about getting it down without any risk to property. We highly recommend them for tree removal and we'll be looking at them first for future tree services, too. read more

Highly recommend Dennis and his team. Knowledgeable, professional, quick to respond, friendly. I asked what we could do for some struggling spruces, and Dennis said some fertilizer treatment should help. I was skeptical, but the trees grew a few feet in the year since and now I'm a believer. They also pruned a very unruly tree we have to the point it looks normal again, and planted some new trees for us. We're very happy with the service and will continue to call them back every spring for whatever trees need maintenance that year. read more

I will always use this company. Yesterday they came out and trimmed up our HUGE cottonwood tree. Very professional and really (REALLY) did a great job! The cleaned up everything!! read more

I recently hired Arbortec to prune a 30+ foot maple that had lots of dead branches and was encroaching on my house and the neighbor's. The Arbortec crew cut it back significantly while preserving the essential shape of the tree. I'm glad I hired a knowledgeable and professional company - my big trees are worth it. read more

Last week, we called and scheduled an appointment for Arbortec to come and trim our Maple tree. NOTE: They trimmed it last year (charged us $150.00!) and this year the tree looks horrible and is not growing out evenly and looks bad! They said they would be out here this morning and I just now got a call from Dennis at Arbortec who said he wasn't coming this morning because they are too busy to come out to our area (Gee thanks for the advance notice Dennis, we were expecting you this morning!). He said I should call another company in my area and he could give me their phone number. I asked him if there was any warranty on the work he did last year. He said well is there a warranty on a haircut? I told him ya, if you got a bad hair cut you could go back to the salon and get it fixed. He said "do you want the number to a salon in your area?" That's when I decided it was time to end the conversation. The guy is rude, the service is bad and I will recommend to everybody I know to stay away from this company! Bad news! You will get ripped off and treated rudely. read more
