I had two 4 stories Elm trees that need to be cut down as they are dead, Jose came and gave me a quote which was a reasonable and acceptable price. Although their price is not high, their work quality is amazing. They always showed up on time, did a great job and they cleaned everything afterwards. One of the tree had a huge wasp nest and I didn't know it, Jose's dad got bitten and all the wasp were angry. This slowed down their job and they had to come on Sunday to finished it. These guys are great. They communicate well and show up when they say they will. They removed a huge pine tree and ground down 150 year old Elm Stump. Not an easy task. Did exactly what we wanted and cleaned up very well before leaving. We have had two other tree companies who did not finish the job and did not do well at all. On April 30, 2023, Jose came out to my residential home in Lakewood to evaluate some broken branches in my trees. As Jose began talking about the cost of removing the branches, I let him know that I wanted a written estimate. Rather than prepare an estimate right then, he said he would send me a written estimate. On May 4 I sent a text message to Jose asking him when I should expect his estimate. I never received a reply to my text or the written estimate that Jose promised me. So, if you plan on dealing with Tree Express, don't expect a written estimate, Jose to honor his word, or replies to your text messages. read more

This small company did a great job. We had a large oak tree with some damaged and broken limbs, others that were hitting a structure in a neighbor's yard, and others that were hitting against the shingles at the edge of our roof. They arrived on time and gave us a quick and reasonable estimate, four times less than another company. They communicated well throughout the job to make sure they trimmed off exactly what needed trimming. They had the right equipment to do the job and took necessary safety precautions including wearing masks. We highly recommend them. read more
