Jeremy was excellent; no issues with the service and would recommend them for their professionalism and a job well done. However, beware of the cc fee. It doesn't make sense that this type of business charges a % for credit cards. read more

Quality service at a reasonable price. Good communications. Keeps or beautiful ash tree in good health.

Chris did a great job of treating my blue spruce. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Welcome on my property anytime for tree service. read more

Last week, Preservation Tree came to my four properties to fertilize my trees. Christopher, Shawn, Jeremy and Austin knew the assignment and went straight to work. All of them took safety very seriously. Very efficient, careful not to damage anything and were especially kind to my dogs. They also did extra things, like removing old guy wires from trees I had planted years ago. I would have them back every time. read more

Finn is just one of many amazing people that we have had the pleasure of working with for years. He is very thoughtful and thorough with his job. He spots things that sometimes we might not see and he follows through with a solution. So glad we have been able to build a relationship with him. read more

Great service as usual! Jeremy is professional and efficient. We always receive excellent service and advice concerning our trees, from Preservation Tree Care. read more

Charlie and Kylie removed two trees for us. They were prompt and finished quickly. They left the site clean. We are very satisfied with their work. read more

Overcharged and underdelivered. I paid for tree trimming for three trees, got two trees trimmed and was not told the proposal was for two trees. I paid for three months of essential watering in 2025, got one month in December, then the two months I paid for vanished from their books. And I was sent a proposal for three more months of essential watering in 2026. The price went up. Don't expect them to answer your phone calls. read more

These folks were absolutely the best! The crew of Charlie, Erik, Jose and Doug were excellent. They went over what they were going to do and after the job they showed me their work. Cleanup was great! No need to use anyone else in the industry. Preservation Tree Care was well worth using. I highly recommend! read more

Shawn was amazing- great service & went beyond to set up a plan to treat our beloved Aspen tree. Highly recommend!!

Preservation has been my tree care service for the past 10 years or so. They always give great service. Austin did the fall fertilization for the trees that I requested in my area. And then he went above and beyond and fertilized a few more. Really appreciate all the good service I've had throughout the years. And my trees have never looked better. read more

Every arborist and service technician displays a love of trees to match mine own. We have used PTC for a couple years with a year-round schedule of tree care. Austin did the fall fertilization for us recently and we were impressed by his kindness, knowledge, and efficiency. Kudos to Austin and all the good folks at PTC. read more

Bad, bad experience. Delay in responding to questions and retaliation for raising concerns about these delays and also giving part of the scope to another company due to the delays. Be careful with this company. I have always thought they were great to work with and have actually worked with them in the past so I was trying my best to keep them as my professional tree company, but sadly it was not to be. I had 2 scopes, Tree Removal of a huge Spruce that I need a tree artist carver to start work carving whatever is left of the tree after initial cut and Tree Pruning was the second scope. I am trying to get all this done before snow starts so you can imagine me trying to get answers and the frustration at the delays. I eventually ended up giving one scope away as the delays in responses from them were a little frustrating, but I opted that I wanted to keep pruning with them but needed them to correct their quote as it seemed to only quote 2 trees and not all trees on property. I was later called by the assigned arborist who then told me that they will not be doing the pruning. This is someone I had been following up with for days and eventually reached out to the office today who even apologized and promised to track him down, so here I was thinking all was settled, only to be called after wasting days of my time to be told that, they will not be doing the pruning. I can only assume this to be retaliation by the assigned arborist either because I escalated my outreach by calling the office to find out why the delays and possibly also because I opted to take one scope and give it to a different company, yet I needed to move and have been trying to get answers for days now with no response, thereby delaying work all around. Be careful about investing too much of your time chasing down answers. It is extremely frustrating to a customer to spend so much time, but get continued delays and when you raise concern, the company arborist retaliates by canceling the attempts at getting work done, after wasting so much of your time. You can do better Preservation Tree Care. Please do not let a few arborists on your team, ruin your company's reputation. Today was a fail and a complete waste of my time. read more

We had trees removed by Preservation tree care, about 20 years ago, in Westgate, Lakewood, Colorado. Very good, quality service. So after moving back to Lakewood, this time near the Bear Creek K-8 school, it turned out we had a 30 year old dying, Cottonwood tree. So called up preservation tree one more time. Very prompt, quality service, again. My husband and I would highly recommend preservation tree company for any of your tree needs. They have arborous that will try to save your tree or give you good advice. read more

All three men were very courteous respectful to us and our property and did a great job

We were very pleased with the services that Preservation provided. We reached out to them for quotes to prune multiple ash trees. One of the trees has not been looking very well lately and we also wanted professional guidance on what to do with it. They were reasonably quick with their responses and very knowledgeable about tree care. Their original proposal was pricey, but they were so helpful in helping us narrow down the top priorities for the trees. They helped us identify what we should focus on right now and other things we can maybe wait until next year to address for long term care of our trees. The actual day of them pruning our massive ash tree went very well and we were happy with the job done and the clean up they provided. read more

Nick and the whole team at Preservation Tree Care were incredible! We'll be doing all of our future tree care with them.

Preservation Tree Care has been trimming and fertilizing our trees for the past 3 years. Their staff is extremely knowledgable, prompt, and courteous. Our trees are thriving and it's all thanks to Preservation Tree Care. Highly recommended. read more

I lost a large Blue Spruce during wind storm. Preservation Tree Care scheduled me in a timely and accommodating manner that worked with my schedule. The crew came out and were very methodical and safe with their removal process as the tree was resting against my neighbors house. Other tree companies wanted to use a crane to remove tree and in the process take out large sections of my mature maple tree to gain access. Preservation Tree Cares crew carefully removed tree section by section and did not take any limbs off my other tree to my delight! Additionally, the crew reattached the fencing that was damaged from the tree. The crew of Nick, John-Michael, and Alex were awesome and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend Preservation Tree Care! read more

Poor experience with this company. They were hired to remove a large spruce tree and left half of the tree in a neighbor's yard. This is exactly how it was left.....the crew never cleaned it up. Lazy and disrespectful. read more

Wow are these guys good! They removed a 20 inch diameter, 30 foot high Ash from the closed-in patio of my townhome. The only way to get at the tree was to extend a bucket lift over my two car garage and dismantle the tree one piece at a time and lower each piece on a rope into the patio since letting it fall would have damaged my garage or fencing. They had to carry each piece by hand out through the garage. When they finished there wasn't a scratch on anything. Perfect and amazing. I might add their pricing was very reasonable. read more

Last summer 2023, I was laying down in my my condo and heard a huge thump. I thought it was on my roof,, but looking out the window I could see that the large pine outside my my patio had fallen on my neighbor's roof. You could see that it had rotted from the. Inside down by the base. The heavy winds left it tottering on the neighbors roof top. The HOA hired. Preservation Tree Company. A crane was brought in to lift it off , The wood was chipped and hauled away, and the remaining trunk leveled.. The crew was amazing with the care they took each step of the way. Several of us took pictures that may be on the web sit. Many Thanks to Preservation Tree Company. Miki Mickail Farrin read more

Called and emailed me confirming a specific date. No one showed up on that date. After calling and pointing this out they came the next day. I was told on the phone that I had the date wrong. Forwarded the original confirmation email to them and never received a reply. Solid work, but caused me to miss an extra day of work and blamed me incorrectly without apologizing. Also, prices were middle of the road. Not cheapest and not most expensive. We went with them because the person who came out to give us the estimate seemed kind and knowledgeable. Will have to find a different company because I can't afford to miss multiple days of work unnecessarily every time we need tree trimming. read more

What a great experience! These people were so kind and did such a great job. I had them remove a tree on my property and trim trees at another property. The wood chips they left were perfect and the trees that were trimmed looked great. They also educated me on what to plant next which was super helpful! read more

Was referred by a friend and they come out right away and walked the property with me at my new home, taught me about my trees, explained the current situation with each tree, made recommendations, and gave me a quote for a quote a bit of work by the next day. When I suggested that we split the work up over time, they scheduled it out with me over the year so the payments wouldn't hit me at one time too hard, but all the necessary items would get done. Not only do they come around every few months for "essential watering" and scheduled jobs without me having to remind them, the tree trimming they've done has made my property look great! They've also helped some trees that were dying come back to life. Each crew that has come out to work have been kind, personable, and professional. The prices are fair and the work is top notch. Can you find the work for cheaper? Probably. But if you want quality and professionals, Preservation Tree Care is who you call. Highly recommend!! read more

We first worked with Preservation Tree Care when we bought our house 5 years ago. Matt Mayo came out and walked our property, educating us on each tree we owned. He recommended how to care for them & identified which ones needed pruning or extra care. His passion & knowledge for trees is unmatched. We noticed that his crew used all the safety equipment necessary when removing branches/trees & were very professional to work with. Our next plan with Preservation Tree Care is to have them plant a few more trees for us. Matt is excellent at helping us find the best trees for the space & for taking care of, keeping in mind water use & longevity. We recommend PTC to all of our friends & neighbors. read more

As President of my HOA...and no I'm not the leader of one of those neo-nazi, you better not look at us cross-eyed, lest you be fined HOAs, I take part in dealing with several types of contractors. Our neighborhood is what I will call established, being built in 1974 with several mature trees that had been neglected in regard to regular pruning, etc for several years. About 5 years ago we solicited Preservation Tree Care to tackle our ongoing tree maintenance. We knew we had a big job to cover with several mature trees needing lots of attention and a limited HOA budget. Matt with Preservation has worked with us every year, dedicating time each year to walk with the board members, providing information and suggestions, keeping costs low, and assisting us in prioritizing our maintenance. After several years of working with Preservation the overall health and beauty of our neighborhood trees is noticeably improved. We will continue working with Matt and Preservation to ensure this will not change. read more

This is a company I will use for life. The knowledge, care and genuine love of trees and plants truly shows. They share their knowledge and let you know how you can take care of many things yourself which I appreciate. They literally brought a 150 year old tree of mine back from the brink 10 years ago and it has being doing amazing ever since. 100% positive recommendation! Thank you! read more

Jon C and his team are amazing. I was very worried about my trees at my new home and had noticed that several of the neighbors trees had died in since I moved in. Jon came out and immediately knew we were in trouble and needed help before we started to lose our trees. We had Wooly Aphids and Fire Blight. Preservation treated that day and we were able to save all but one crabapple tree. I honestly would have probably waited until next year to even have them out but their knowledge of the Denver market was spot on. I credit them for saving me thousands of dollars and more importantly saving my trees! Thank you Jon and thank you Preservation Tree Care! read more

Tree was hanging over the fence from neighbor's yard. The owner himself came with one of his top guys and explained to me the Colorado state law that it was actually on the neighbor and not my responsibility so he turned down the job. I moved to Littleton in December 2017 and bought a house where the yard needed some serious love. It had been barely maintained for many years and, as a result, all of the trees and shrubs (probably 10 or so of each) needed to be removed so I could start with a clean slate. Enter Matt and Jon from Preservation Tree Care. Matt came out and gave his recommendations and a quote and Jon worked with me throughout the job. Both were incredibly professional and very easy to work with. Jon's communication is great and he made the whole process so much easier. The team that came out to cut down and remove the trees were pretty amazing too. Extremely skilled (you should have seen them take down the 60' Cottonwood in my front yard...wow!), friendly, and thorough. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. If you need someone to help them with your yard, call them! read more

Jon and his team are so easy to work with, patient and really do care about their craft. We hired them to do a small removal project and recurring tree spraying, and we'll be utilizing them when it's time to take out some pretty big trees and the reason is, I trust these guys to do the work right at a fair price. they showed up when they said they would and did all of the work at the prices quoted. After spending 10 minutes on the phone with Preservation Tree Care, I knew I was making the right decision on who to hire to maintain my trees. These guys are self acclaimed "tree geeks", not just guys with saws. They care about the long term health of you trees and look to do what is best long term. They might be slightly more expensive than some of the others out there, but what you get is worth the price. Give them a try! read more
