Give the cook a trophy. For being consistent with the cooking. The breakfast looks like something out of a magazine or an ihop commercial.

But each time we've been here, we've always been very satisfied with the food and beverages. The staff is really great too. I'm so happy that Berwyn has some newer elevated spots that combine affordable prices with a very nice experience and ambience.

It was around 11am on a random Sunday and about half full, which made for a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Right away, the service stood out. Our waitress was super attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. For drinks, I ordered a regular coffee and my significant other got the "Vitamin C" smoothie. The coffee comes in a surprisingly large mug and is refillable, which is a nice bonus. Because of that, I skipped the café de olla, but honestly I'd recommend trying it if you're not planning on refills. The smoothie was great--smooth, refreshing, and only mildly sweet. For food, we ordered the green chilaquiles, chicken enchiladas with red sauce, and the churro pancakes. The food did take about 30-45 minutes to come out, but everything arrived fresh. The chilaquiles were served with black beans, cilantro lime rice, and two eggs, topped with onions, sour cream, and cheese. The beans had a slight grilled flavor but were a bit mild overall. The rice, on the other hand, was light, fluffy, and perfectly seasoned with cilantro--definitely a highlight. The chilaquiles themselves were flavorful with just a slight kick from the salsa; I just wish they had a bit more onion for extra texture. The chicken enchiladas were excellent. Honestly the standout savory dish. Everything about them was well-balanced and cooked perfectly. Now the real star, the churro pancakes. These were amazing. You get a stack of four pancakes topped with a pecan sauce and served with two churros on the side. The pancakes are definitely on the sweeter side, but in the best way possible. The churros themselves were fantastic, honestly better than Xurro Factory in my opinion. Overall, this place really impressed me. The vibe is immaculate, blending Hispanic culture with a modern twist, and the food and service back it up. Definitely a spot I'd come back to and would be a great spot to take family, friends, and even a date.

My nephew recommended we come to Tony's, and I could not thank him enough as we sat there eating great food served by such a friendly staff. Every person we spoke to was Chicago friendly, which is perfect in my books. Orders came to the table quickly, correct, piping hot and delicious! My niece got the Mickey Mouse pancakes and sausage, a family classic, which were fluffy and delicious. HUGE pancakes and crispy sausage links! My sister got the breaded pork tenderloin and loved every bit! The broccoli soup was plain and needed a little excitement, but the pork itself was crispy and well cooked! HUGE portion! WOW! My nephew for the lumberjack platter which was a TON of food. A TON. WILD. Just HUGE serving! The French toast was special; it almost tastes like a cinnamon roll cake. Nice and crispy rounds and soft in the middle. A nice ham steak, bacon, sausage, eggs, and joy. He didn't finish the entire plate but enjoyed every single bite! I got the vegetarian skillet with bacon - I know, I know. It was a long night before this meal, and I needed salt and bacon but wanted all the veggies. What a TREAT! The hash browns were crispy and delicious, not greasy at all which I loved and appreciated, and TONS of veggies. I couldn't finish the entire skillet, but also I happily finished it about 2H later. I just love how I didn't feel heavy after the meal - too full or bogged down by grease. Every single bite was delicious, and I legit cannot wait to go back. The restaurant was busy but had plenty of seating. There were some ants under the table, but they quickly took care of them, and TBH, if I was an ant I'd be in that restaurant too finding food joy. No judgement. Restaurant was clean and service was great! I will happily come back any time, any day, to Tony's. Great people, great food, huge portions, and a great experience. Stop on by!

I added a touch of salt. A nice thin sliced and tomato was on the side with pickles and lettuce. What a power packed lunch , and I only could finish half, so that's really a lunch for 2 $15! At a sit down restaurant, that's in a clean environment, in a great neighborhood. What value. Reminds me of the Pittsfield Cafe located in the lobby of the Pittsfield Building on Washington & Wabash Avenue downtown Chicago. Such a bustling a wonderful place at its peak time. Located across from MacNeal Hospital, Loyola Medical Cancer Center. Serving a great value to many visitors. Doing a great job here. Across from the Burlington Line, Metra Station. Easy stop. Oak Park Avenue , Berwyn. Many hair salons, nice bar next door: a small antiques shop west of here. Fantastic grocery store up the block just South of tracks. Nice YMCA facility just North with several Baptist Churches I noticed. Many beautiful parks, north and south down oak park avenue, just West
