I bought a car from the crappy dealership oct 28. since that day it's been nothing but BS and problems with car. Would leave a 0 star if I could. A week after I bohhh the car, they overfilled the oil and have a light come on. Roger and his team fixed that. I also have a button missing from the windshield washer handle that Jarek told me he would take care of it. That was at least 5 weeks ago. It's been almost 2 months and I still haven't received yet to receive my new plates. And now the service engine light is on. Stay far away from this deal ship. Quite the story, in 2020 i purchased 2 Alfa's, from the Alfa side, went back a couple of years later to upgrade to the Alfa SUV. They made us crazy offers so we walked out. Decided to go back and trade in my wifes camary to see what kind of SUV we could find. We ended up finding a 202 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe with 7500 miles. The sales guy was completely unknowledgeable in pretty much anything car related. After some back and forth we believe we got a good and fair deal. We drove the car home after 3 hrs, the next day my wife called me on the way to work that the check engine light was one, so she came home and i brought it back to the dealer. that was 9 hrs after purchase. We found out 3 days later after absolutely 0 communication that the motor needed to be replaced, fast foward 2 months later, after that broke and this broke, the hybrid isnt working so sill in the shop. At that point i decided to get out of that deal. We called up and they told us to come it, we were expecting a make it right meeting, nope they dropped a paper in front of us 6000 down, 899 a month. We walked out. Julian the sales manager called us and told us to come back, he made us a very reasonable deal on a brand new 2025 Cherokee V6 an offer we excepted. I decided to trade in my mustang and worked with Marquel Wright, he was knowledgable, social and helpful. I decided to buy it, there were some deep scratches on the fender, they said to bring it back and they will fix it, and to their word its perfect. I would purchased from the Jeep side again, not so much the Alfa side. Do not go to Stateline to lease a Jeep. They are completely unorganized. I spent a week trying to negotiate with them and without ever having a salesperson assigned to me. Instead, I had to communicate through their internet rep, front desk rep and 2 different finance managers who consistently failed to call me back. Then, when we thought we were close to a deal, we drive in and see that the finance manager added in a $500 dealer pack. I had already told him 3 times that I didn't want it and hw kept it in. When I asked him to remove it hw gave me some bs line that legally they're not allowed because it would be considered discrimination if he remove mine and not other clients. Totally untrue. So, tge arrogance of the Finance Manager got in the way of this deal. Instead of removing the $500 ,on a $55k car, he said he can't sell me the car so we walked out. We then went to a competitor that same day, git tge same exact truck at a lower price and they met our request on everything. Stateline should take a close look at their Finance Manager and really understand why he turned a sale away over $500. took my car in for some work to be done on it, a couple of days later the service advisor and told me once the warranty pays out I'd only be looking to pay$350. I give him the go ahead and a few days after that he calls me and tells me my car is ready but this time he tells me it's going to be $850. of course we go back and forth over the agreed upon price and I hang up and dead over there and speak to a manager. The manager tries to give me the run around saying " well your deductible is 2-something on it's on why would your overall price be 350?(this was my exact thought when the service advisor told me the price but it's not my job to correct him. once he said $350 the first time I asked him 3 different time in 3 different ways if my overall total would be $350 and every-time he said yes). I then ask the service manager if I can hear the recording and he says "well not all calls are recorded, so since we have no proof of him not telling you $350 we're going to let you pay that and you can get your car back.( what dealership doesn't record calls that contain approval agreements? which is why I think that is a lie and they had the recording the whole time and listened to him say $350 numerous times but were still going to get me to pay the $850. Please be careful when dealing with them and record the phone calls!!! read more

Beware, David is a scammer! My sister who is a college student was planning to purchase a Kia she saw online and has visited the dealership. Due to the holiday, she was told to wait on a phone call from David to say she was approved for the car. He also said he would bring the car from the dealership it was at to this location. She receives a call from him telling her she was approved. Upon arrival to the dealership the next day (after quite a long drive mind you) there is no Kia and he wanted to put my sister in a Charger that was obviously out of her budget. 12/30/24... 9AM I'm here at Stateline (right now 1:01pm) as I'm typing this review. This is the last straw with this company. I will never bring my vehicle here to be serviced again. I've been bringing my Fiat to this service center since 2019. In the past 2 years the service has been absolutely horrible. I arrived at 9am for a scheduled diagnostic which I was told was going to be $195. I didn't even exit my car good before the price magically changed to $230. When asked, why? I was told by Adam (completely rude) that they have to pay to process paperwork and throw some of the tools used to do the diagnostic in the trash. I said, are you telling me that I'm being charged an extra $35 for paperwork and for things that will be thrown away? He said, yes! He said, think of it as paying taxes at a restaurant. I said, a restaurant isn't going tack on an extra $30/$40 to the bill to scrape food in the trash and wash dishes. Then, they tell me that I was scheduled for a service with a rental car...so I have to leave my vehicle (which was only supposed to receive a diagnostic) overnight. I said, I didn't want to leave my vehicle. I only want a diagnostic; tell me what the problem is, I decide whether to allow you all to fix it and if so, it should be fixed today, since I've been here since 9am. Adam tells me, and I quote. "It seems you don't know what you want." You were scheduled for a rental." I reiterated to him that I asked for a diagnostic and repairs if possible (based on their charge of course). The woman I spoke with on the phone said, even after the diagnostic, they will likely need to keep my car for a day or two for repairs. How she was able to predict that is beyond me - unless it's just what they do here... keep your car so you have to pay extra money to get a rental. I actually thought I was getting a loaner car, something I'd gotten on another occasion when they kept my car overnight which turned into a weekend stay. Nonetheless, as I was trying to pull up my insurance information to get the rental, the guy who came to assist with that process walked away from me saying that he'd be right back. That's when Adam's (rude behind) came to ask me had the rental guy stopped by. I told him, he did, but I was having trouble logging into Progressive to get my insurance information they require for the rental. Adam said okay and walked off. Meanwhile, I attained my insurance information and was reluctantly ready to be forced into taking a rental. So, I went looking for Adam to get the rental---get this--- just to be told the guy that does the rentals went to lunch and won't be back for at least 30 minutes. He (the rental guy) now came back (45 minutes later) from lunch (it's 1:19pm) asking me about getting the rental. I'm livid right now!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also in the meantime, another gentleman that works here heard me talking to a friend about this situation on the phone and said he would try to get my diagnostic so I can hopefully get my car repaired and drive away from this place for good. So far I've told my sister (who said she isn't buying her Jeep from here), my friend (who believes as I do, that all of this extra fees and rental car business is a racket) and now everyone reading this review. No matter what outcome happens today... do yourself a favor...I urge you all NOT to come to Stateline Jeep (Fort Mill) for anything, if you value honesty, customer service and your time.... because they certainly DON'T AND WON'T. And the ladies restroom is a nasty mess...took pics. Guess I have to hold my myself until I finally get home I'm still here (review written in real time) ...arrived at 9AM...it's right now 1:50PM... to be continued.... Just received update from Adam, that they are indeed going to move forward with the repairs on my car. Guess I won't be forced into a rental after all. Now let's see what happens next. 1:50PM to be continued... Around 3:00 Adam finally come to tell me the results from the diagnostic I brought my car in for at 9AM. He said, it'll now be another hour on the repairs and will offer some sort of discount since I've been waiting all day. You THINK!!! I've been here literally all day. I've made no money because, of course, I missed work. I'm a starving diabetic (but they have all eaten) and have to go to the restroom really bad. It's currently 4:17PM real time... I have been to this Jeep dealership twice and the staff in the service department are very nice and professional. However, I went under my vehicle after my last oil change and noticed that all the screws holding the cover plate were either missing or loose. This is absolutely unacceptable. I have a brand new Jeep that costs a lot of money and went to a dealership because they are supposed to have better mechanics and take pride in what they do. Not the case at all! Something so simple and easy, and they can't even get it, right. If I wouldn't have looked and re-screwed everything, the entire bottom plate would've ripped off. EDIT. Amanda just called and asked why I posted this review after they were going to give me a refund for the first diagnostic fee of $175. She is now not going to refund me after I have it in writing that she would. This has nothing to do with money, rather the fact that they have lied and returned my vehicle to me damaged with no willingness to correct said damage. The ratings make sense now. Seems that they are trying to buy the reviews. Disgusting business practice. Not sure how this dealership has such a good rating. I have had nothing but bad experiences here. I was given the run around on a problem that is known be an issue. So much so that Chrysler has extended the warranty on the part for 10 years. No recall though because "it does not cause a safety issue." tldr: sketchy service manager doesn't believe customer and refuses to do anything about damaged property and service advisor is rude after the first visit. Adam Putnam, the service advisor I had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with, was great at the beginning. He agreed with me as to what the problem was and told me the issue was covered under the extended warranty. I get a call from him after his service tech "diagnosed" the real issue as something else. A $175 charge... I fix the issue based on what I was told. What do you know the problem isn't fixed. I call him and tell him that his tech was wrong about the fix and after 10 minutes of arguing he agreed that he would diagnose the issue again free of charge this time. Get another call from him and now his tech agrees with me on what the problem is and they will fix it under warranty. I go pick my car up. Once in my car I notice a lot of my personal belongings were tampered with, mainly the dashcam has been unplugged and there is new damage to the steering wheel. I call the service manager, Amanda Lee, another lovely person to deal with. Email her pictures of the damage and tell her that the tech messed with my dashcam. Foreman says he unplugged the dashcam because it was making a noise the entire time he was working. To do the repair the battery should be disconnected. If it was the camera can't make a noise, and I have video proof that it was unplugged while they were driving on the lot. They also do not believe me when I tell them that the service is the one who damaged my steering wheel. Amanda says that it is normal wear and refuses to help in this situation. The only thing they do to correct the issue is give me money back on the first diagnostic fee. Nothing for damages to vehicle. I don't expect anything to be done about the dashcam situation but rather I bring this up because it is sketchy to lie about. What else are they lying about? read more

Save yourself the headache! Service department is horrible! Bad communication and customer service! This company has shown to have a culture of rude employees that give inaccurate information. After driving my vehicle to this dealership I was told I needed a throttle body. Jerome explained I was going to have to pay out of pocket seeing as I had no warranty. Jerome explained he understood it was a $1100 coming out of pocket so he would give me a call in a week or so to make some decisions. He would call back to speak about next moves. Next communication I received from Jerome was notice "We need to make a decision on your vehicle otherwise it will be considered abandoned and towed along with applicable storage fees." After being pressured I responded to go ahead and do the work. I was told I should have my vehicle back within about a month Early December I requested an update and Jerome explained he will call back with an update. For over 2 weeks that did not happen. When it did happen I was told January 5 2023 Upon receiving my vehicle Friday 1/6/23 I noticed my time said 2:40 this was suspicious to me because I got off the phone with Jerome about 3 hours prior and he said he was going to move my car to the sales side since I wouldn't be able to retrieve my car until the service department was closed. This indicated to me that my vehicle was charged before moving it to the sales side of the lot. Monday 1/9/23 I called and spoke to Amanda explaining I didn't get my engine cover back and I was still having the same issue. My vehicle was also returned with a bad battery. I further explained they could have at least informed me I'm going to need a battery. Amanda explained my vehicle was connected to a charger but never died. Amanda apologized they didn't inform me of that, assured me they were more than confident in the repair they performed. Amanda explained for any further assistance I was responsible for getting the vehicle back to the dealership and scheduling a diagnostic. I explained I'm not positive my vehicle will make it to the dealership and asked what assistance they could offer if I didn't make it to the dealership. Amanda explained none seeing as I didn't have a warranty. After talking for a few more minutes Amanda provided the number to what she called Chrysler Customer Care. 1/10/23 I got confirmation my battery was bad and purchased new battery from advanced auto parts. And continued to have issues with vehicle not changing gears or accelerating properly! I called Chrysler Customer Care 8009921997 for months starting 1/9/23 and did not not receive a call back as promised. I took it upon myself to have a tow to pick up my vehicle from my home to have it diagnosed at another dealership. Hendrick Chrysler, Jeep Dodge, RAM of Concord. Where they explained they have no idea why Stateline changed the throttle body, I needed a new transmission. While dealing with Hendrick of Concord and continuously calling Chrysler Customer Care, I learned I had a vehicle protection plan sold to me with my vehicle. I also learned I should have never had to pay for the throttle body and I should have been able to get a rental. Through the warranty Stateline neglected to search for. This was only the beginning of my issues with Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. More issues occurred with the Chrysler Customer Care, and Hendrick of Concord due to the brand failing to communicate internally and externally as promised. read more

Great morning I just wanted to send this email to compliment one of your employees. I purchased a new from an auto dealer in Rock Hill Sc. I purchased it and brought it to Stateline for an oil change drove it for about a month then began to have issues. Took it back to Stateline and this is where I met Jerome. He became my advisor and made me aware after doing research the vehicle I bought had the same previous issues .... I was so frustrated and overwhelmed. While dealing with the Jeep situation I was also dealing with replacing my entire roof from a hail storm and all my vehicle claims to my other 3 cars which all required deductibles along with the deductible for the roof. I was so mentally and emotionally drained...To make a long story short my jeep stayed at Stateline for two month because it took that long for the warranty company to find an engine to replace. I also had to wait till it could be put in. Jerome had to constantly call the warranty people and stay on top of it. I checked in at the office one day and really got to see in person how long he had to be on hold and transferred..... Durning this entire ordeal he was kind took his time. He kept he calm and and assured me that he would get the job done .... I was so upset because when I went to the dealership to see why they didn't tell me about the known issue the guy said he didn't have to tell me because he fixed the issue... but I clearly asked when purchasing had anything been done to the jeep before buying it . I was lied regarding the condition of the car...clearly they knew because a warranty was not offered..The finance person Donavan is the definition of a slick used car sales person..he even lied about when I would receive my plate and tags for auto....In hindsight the condition of the car was known because no warranty was offered. How this dealership can stay in business with their lack of honesty, transparency, and utter disregard to fix their mistakes is beyond me. Lying about the condition of the vehicle to make a sale is not only fraudulent, but dangerous! We are now spending thousands of dollars to remediate the situation we were left with. The dealership pretended they were working on a resolution, only to string us along, then act like we have no reason or business to get upset! After posting to social media without listing the dealerships name, I received multiple private messages asking if it was Stateline Dealership as they either had the same experience, similar experience, or their close friend or family member did. One person mentioned that they were still fighting with the dealership six months after purchase with no resolution in sight. This now means that we severely overpaid for the vehicle and are out thousands. Not only that, but they horribly misrepresented our trades in vehicle just HOURS after we traded it! It makes me sick to think that an unsuspecting person or family will go there to buy it and be in the same situation we are in. Ultimately, it is upon us as the consumers to know what we are signing and I am paying a hefty price for trusting what this dealership was telling me. The words they are telling you and what is on the contract can be contradictory. Read everything carefully and make sure you fully understand what you are being sold by the finance office. I was happy with the communication when I made my initial communication regarding an oil change. They said come in whenever you want basically. I showed up at 0730 and saw an express line for oil changes. I figured I'm gonna be in and out. The line was kinda long but moved quickly. My info was taken and I took my place in the waiting room. My sales rep came in a few minutes later and said you don't need an oil change. I convinced her I did. So an hour later I'm still waiting. Not very expressy if I say so myself. Last Sunday I stopped in to look at a used truck, to my dismay the truck was unavailable due to a recall despite being available on the website. Nevertheless, I test drove a different vehicle as I was just starting my search. Fast forward to today (6 days) later, I confirmed with my Sales Rep the day before (yesterday) that the brand new 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 Turbo Diesel truck I wanted to purchase and test drive would be available. I showed up to the dealership, my sales rep was apparently sick - not a big deal. I worked with one of his associates, who went to find the truck. After waiting for 35mins, I was unable to view the vehicle apparently because it's been "cold" there was an issue with the truck where they couldn't get it started. Keep in mind this is Charlotte and we haven't had a day or night much below 35-40. This now made 2 vehicles that this dealership had failed to show me. In a last-ditch effort to save the day, I agreed to viewing a similar vehicle just not the color I originally intended. Another 35 mins into the wait of the second vehicle, the sales manager Phillip came up to me and said they had to move several vehicles out of the way to get the truck I wanted to view out. Come to find out after waiting for 45mins, the battery was dead in what was now the third truck I wanted to see. I spent a combined 2 days and 3 hours at this dealership and did not view 1 vehicle I intended to, nor in either visit did they manage to appraise my vehicle for trade-in. I will never go back to this location, I can't trust them and quite frankly can't understand how some of the most reliable trucks in the industry were having such issues simply starting. Perhaps because I'm under 30 years old they didn't want to do business with me, or maybe thought I couldn't afford it - well they're wrong and I'll gladly enjoy taking my business elsewhere. Took my Ford Explorer in for a rear bumper repair after being rear ended. Given estimate, and later scheduled repair. 1 day later, told car was done ready to be picked up. When arriving home, the rear bumper still appeared damaged. Repaired bumper valance, but bumper cover was still damaged. We were charged for BOTH repairs. Then later found out our park assist was disconnected and not re-connected on the initial fix. Took back to shop to have the park assist repaired, and asked for refund on the repair they didn't perform. Be careful please. Check your repair and ensure all work documented was done up to your standards before leaving. read more

This is one of the worst auto Dealerships I have ever experienced. Bought a new jeep here. The buying process was full of misleading promises. Jeep came with 4 free oil changes. After I use these I will never return. Also have a used dodge Once I scheduled the dodge in for service. I was quoted 1800 for a repair which I had serviced at Meineke for 1/3 the cost. Parts department is full of unhappy people who would prefer you not ask for anything. The service Team is also clearly either mistreated or poorly managed. I was interested in a Ram pickup truck . The salesman was mouthy and confrontational and just not very nice. I'm here to buy a $40,000 vehicle and you're going to be pushy with the New York attitude? I test drove the vehicle and took it to my house about 8 mi away and thought about it showed it to my wife and thought better of the deal. I returned it the next morning. The sales manager said 'thanks for putting miles on my vehicle' . And I said you're welcome --it already had 629 mi on it. I just don't need the attitude. Drove over an hour to get there. Did the test drive. The next day I ask for an OTD price and when I got it, it was $1000 more than what it was advertised for. when I complained they did drop the price down $1000. Then I look at the bill of sale and they had over $1000 dealer add-ons. $499 fee for spraying the interior/exterior (whatever that is). This place is absolute garbage with the worst and most rude management you can imagine. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. We traded in our car that had around $3,000 left on our loan, they told us they would send the check to pay it off within 20 days. Month later we start getting collection calls from our loan place and we call this dealership over and over and over again only to find out weeks later they sent the payment to the wrong place affecting our credit and the only reason it was corrected was due to our insane amount of calls. Then 2 months after purchasing the car our AC goes out, we bought the extended BUMPER TO BUMPER warranty only to find out that SURPRISE it's not covered and they want $180 just to look at it. After the terrible experience we had you'd think they would try and be accommodating but absolutely not. Management is disgusting and needs to replaced. They are snake oil salesmen that sell garbage.
