The service is poor, I took my 4Runner in because it had a low tire pressure and I found a small nail in it (it was a very slow leak) took over a week to get a low PSI, they aired it up for me and told me they couldn't patch it. I go home and wake up next morning and 2 tires are completely flat. It was in better shape before I took it in then after I left. To top it off they told me only way to replace is buy 2 new tires. The sales service is just as poor, They say they participate In the Costco auto sales program but most dealerships give you quotes and spec sheets to look at and compare vehicles. I spent a few days trying to buy or lease a vehicle and all they did was throw numbers at me and tell me how heavily discounted it was even though the payments were 200$ more a month then other dealerships for similar vehicles and packages. Once I told them I had to go else where the salesmen gave me attitude. North Charlotte Toyota, Concord Toyota and Gastonia Toyota are much better customer service all the way around. Toyota products sell themselves and in a lifelong toyota guy, I will just avoid this dealership.

He walked to 77 Auto where they helped him confirm it was a dead battery and after buying a new one, a service technician drove to McDonald's to jump start our vehicle so we could get it to a service bay, where he quickly installed it for us for free. Our only regret is that we did not get the kind gentleman's name to add to this review. Excellent and very quick service. Very helpful. I wanted to get my money back but the General Sales Manager Mike Kitchens will not let me, he stated that there is $3900 in damages to the car. 3 head gaskets needed replacing, a timing belt, work done on the radiator and the water pump needed replaced. Please beware if you go to this dealership ask for all necessary documents and get an independent mechanic to look over the car before purchasing. I would not want this to happen to anyone else.

We had tried a few other car dealerships and were told "due to your short length of time on the…read morejob, you're going to get a NO where every you go" I work contract, make well above average income, at Crown, they looked at me as a person, the fact that I've been doing the same job for 22 years (on contract) not the amount of time I was at this particular company on contract. Before we even set foot on the car lot, I had sent in all my documentation (Drivers Licence, Proof of income, residence etc.), Brian and John (I think that's the right name) checked my information, interviewed me for the loan and had an approval amount before even getting there. Although we chose a car we absolutely loved from the internet pictures, it happened to be about $4,000.00 more than our approval, but they worked with us, our down was only $500.00 more than for something in our approval amount, we received a much lower interest rate than expected. They deal with people from all walks of life, from those making minimum wage to those making over $150k a year...no matter what your situation, you're not brought in with a false sense of what you're approved for then sent to what I call the "Dog Pound" of ratty cars, you know up front before even going what you're approved for and are given a choice of late model, quality vehicles (in our case we were determined to get the one we fell for). Brian had the car we were interested in waiting for us when we showed up, handed us the keys for a test drive and when we returned, it was a matter of getting the car on our insurance, signing the paperwork, paying the downpayment and we were on our way!!! You will be treated with the respect and integrity you deserve, nothing hidden like 99% of the car dealers out there. Everybody was friendly, they make you feel like family, they're professional and don't pull anything over your eyes... If you're looking for a car, bottom of the barrel horrible credit or top of the chart excellant credit, you're going to get awesome treatment... I recommend this dealer (with multiple lots to pull from) 150%... If I could give them 10 Stars instead of 5... I would...

My father took his car in after the a/c stopped working in June on his way down from New York…read more He asked Dustin if it was under warranty and was assured it wasn't. (I think you know that since I'm mentioning it, it actually was) Didn't know how long the repair would take so I met him at the service shop and heard the conversation when Dustin came out to tell my father the issue. (A missing nut or bolt he said was the cause, probably caused by whoever did service on it last since it can only be removed with a special tool) My dad was thrilled it was an easy repair and he paid around 300$ (don't remember the exact price) and then left, pretty happy despite having to pay so much out of pocket when he thought it was under warranty. Since he was visiting, he parked his car and rode with me for the six days he was here. When he left for New York, he was less than an hour away from Rock Hill when the air conditioning stopped working again. When he got back to New York, he had his Chevy dealer look at it and actually fix the problem (under warranty) When he called Burns, Dustin had said that he told him he couldn't guarantee that what he fixed was the problem which was never said. He also said he told my father that he would need the car for about 100 miles and that my dad said he didn't want to wait. That never happened. It would have been no big deal for them to keep the car since he wasn't going to be driving anyway, but the fact is, that was just never mentioned. None of it. My dad called Burns again, wanting to speak with a manager and was told there wasn't one. My dad doesn't live here, obviously, but i do and will tell anyone who listens to stay away from Burns.

He had to have the car towed back to the dealer. The auto dealer had a mechanic look at it - charged my son 20$ to do so - said they couldn't find anything wrong. They refused to take the car back. He took the car home. The engine is full of sludge and is completely shot. He needs to put a new engine in this vehicle. He tried to get Family Auto to do the right thing, and take the car back and give him back my money, but they refuse. They sold him a car with a bad engine, and even though they sold the car "as is", I feel it is very bad business to sell a vehicle like this and refuse to refund the money when the car breaks down the SAME DAY he purchased it. He did not even make it home! My son would like his money back for this car. He is a young man, soon to be a new father, and he cannot afford to be ripped off like this. He purchased this car on April 19, 2011. He dealt with a man named David Atkins. The car is a 1998 Nissan 200 SX SER. He paid $2190 cash for this vehicle. I have filed complaints with both the Better Business Bureau and the S.C. Attorney General/Consumer Protection agency. Watch out for this company. They are BAD, BAD NEWS!
