My wife found a car she wanted at 77 and we went to get it. Our salesman was very professional. We decided to buy the car and he went to manager to work the deal. While he was gone another salesperson came over and lied to us, saying we were in luck because if we had not decided to get the car that day it would not be on the lot the next, because it was sold. When he walked away my wife said he was lying. Why would they show us a car that was already sold? Our original salesperson came back and we started talking numbers. They were adding a lot of fees and taxes to the price of the car. I started questioning the additions and the other guy came back. He started talking to us like we were stupid and was very rude. It got to the point I had to leave before I lost my temper. I have never been straight out lied to and treated so badly in any dealership in my life. Well, everything was completed(including free car wash) in under 2 hours despite all the customers. Also, the car wash technician was a perfectionist! ******STAY AWAY FROM 77 AUTO IN ROCK HILL****** Horrible experience. Bought a '17 jeep on December 31 of '24. Loan ended up being about 43k or 44k. Between the service manager (rear differential they paid for more on this later), service plan i *THANKFULLY* paid for (water pump and thermostat), and my own out of pocket (oil pump and oil filter housing) ive put almost 8-10k into this thing. When i went for the rear diff to begin with... i was treated as if i didnt know what i was talking about because "they couldnt replicate the noise". Which i know is false because at 35 mph i heard the noise. So after i was talked down to i said "take it on the highway". Both service people dropped their heads. They did. Came back and said rear differential. "Gonna be expensive but not for you". Better NOT be for me. This happened 2 weeks after i bought it. But i love 2.5 hours away so getting up there on a one day off a week work schedule was NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE. I had to pull teeth to get a loaner car for a week while they fixed it. I found a shop out by my work (2 driveways away) and forgot about service plan. When i called 77 and asked about advice on overheating issue... i was told "well let me pull your sale jacket tomorrow and see if you bought a plan". Why was this not thought of before? Neither here nor there. Saved me a bunch of money out of pocket. When Jeep started running warm continuously after thermostat and water pump replacement, I brought back to shop near me. Couldn't figure it out. So I called 77 and asked about options. Because I can't afford this constant repair hassle (plan or not). Was told "well it's not a lemon because it's a used vehicle". Okay I get that. I also get jeeps are somewhat of a money pit. But for LESS than 65k miles and I have THIS many issues? YALL SOLD ME A LEMON. So I went up today because I couldn't get clear answer on what my options for trading in were. Kept getting told "I'll run numbers and call you back". I must've called..... 15 or 20 times before I decided "screw it. Next day off I'm going up." I got recommended this shop by a guy I work with. I'll leave the $400 for 15 miles back and forth to Charlotte out of it. They had my car for a week. Day 1 we talked, I think bad fuel pump this was a Monday. The first call after the cars arrival was about what codes did I see it throwing and what I thought. Not sure why it wasn't immediately put on a diagnostic to see what the issues were? I let that slide just like the next 4 days. I didn't call, I let the do their thing. On Friday that week I call at 12:30 and left a message, they never called me back and are now closed all weekend. Monday morning around 10 I call, lady said oh yeah there's be service campaigns on your car, im going to take parts into garage I'll talk to mechanic and call you right back. I immediately went to audiusa.com and searched my VIN, no recalls, no service campaigns...nothing. I waited all day because she said, I'll call ya right back. On Tuesday morning I swallowed my anger and called informing them they'd had my car for a week and hadn't even produced a diagnostic code and I wanted to go another way. She was so happy happy to give me a price for nothing they did at $400 and I had no choice, my car was hostage by law. Luckily she "gave" me a discount to $200 i payed and had the tow truck already arranged. All I can say is just dont take your vehicle there. They asked me, the customer what codes it was throwing...WTF do you not have a simple OBD-2?? telling me there are service campaigns?, not returning phone calls multiple times? Absolutely horrible experience. Took the day off work to purchase a car from them. I had an appointment set, documents sent, my trade in vehicle was meticulously cleaned, and we brought plenty of capital for a down payment. The Ford Escape they advertised was exactly the vehicle and package that I had spent hours researching. I called before I left Fountain Inn to verify my appointment and wanted to see if it was OK if I showed up a bit early, which I was assured would be fine. After a two plus hour drive up I was informed that the vehicle WAS NOT THERE!!!! After almost two hours sitting at this "dealership" I was then given the salesman upsell of a more expensive vehicle that I was offered at an insultingly high price. No apologies or no concessions for their ENORMOUS BLUNDER!! So........back in my original vehicle we go, sat in traffic for an hour and a half, and then the lovely two hour drive back to Fountain Inn..........WITHOUT THE NEW CAR!! This debacle cost me a days work, gas, unnecessary miles on my trade in vehicle, and an enormous amount of wasted time. To say I was furious would be a serious understatement! To add insult to injury, my credit was pulled FOUR TIMES TODAY!! WITHOUT THE VEHICLE BEING THERE!!!! When I inquired about the hard pull(s) on my credit, I was simply told to dispute it!! Very next level sleazy business here sells men sold me a car that ended up having multiple issues. At first I was insured there mechanics would be able to fix said issues just to receive a call telling me it "wasn't under warranty" when it definitely was I hadn't even driven the car off the lot before problems started happening. After arguing back-and-forth with a manager for almost an hour it was agreed the problems were under warranty and they would fix it on there time. After having my car held hostage for 3 months they were not able to fix the issues going on with the car and had to send it to a dodge dealership 1 week later I got my back. There just is something missing with this "dealership." Went in as a pre-approved and qualified buyer, placed a 500 deposit to hold the car until I could come after work to complete the purchase. arrived after work to finalize everything, test drive the car, indicated we were happy with it and ready to complete the purchase as intended. once in Dave's office he provided me with VIN information asking that we go ahead and start the process of adding to our insurance while the sales manager was working with multiple lenders to get the best rate. I had a nearly perfect credit score pulled and they assured me there were multiple banks and they were doing their best work to get us the best rate. we were then given the final bank who the loan would go through and just waiting for our turn to enter the finance office. we went into finance office once it was out turn, he indicated it was his first day and he was fumbling through a few things but he's been doing this for years and assured us he would get us in and out as quickly as possibl. as we started to sign paperwork I noticed the bank they were using the paperwork did not match what was provided to me by the salesman. I spoke u, he indicated to me no the salesman got it wrong this was the correct lender who approved the loan terms and we proceeded with the paperwork. I asked why the tag title dealer fees tax were not listed on the contract instead it was a lump sum and no breakdown, he said "we don't do that" then he showed me the warranty paperwork indicated "I had to select the extended warrant, no option" I indicated I didn't want the gap coverage as I would by paying the car off in a short period of time. Ok so he adjusts the contract removing the gap but keeping the warrant even though I said I really didn't want it, he said you're buying a jeep you have to have it. Drive home paperwork done. Check engine light turns on.text salesman he indicates he hopes I bought the warranty because otherwise they'd not have to fix the issue. I did I said because I was told I had to but the car sale was less than 12 hours ago I expected they'd do the right thing and correct the issue. I dropped off the next day for repair work. A day goes by I hear nothing. The next morning I hear from service they are fixing the issue will have to me by end of day. Finally get a text 6 pm I can come get it service is closed just pick up from salesman. Get there in asked to step inside they missed a signature on one page. ok I step into finance office where I'm given a complete new contract to sign, why am I resigning all of the paperwork, I asked. He indicated he had messed the initial paperwork up and used the wrong bank lending information and I said well which bank should it be the original one like I told you the salesman gave me, no it's an entirely different bank. I asked why the bank change, he said because there were too many calls that day and the wrong bank was selected, but it's ok nothing changed. I asked to see the original paperwork that I signed so I could verify that nothing else had change, he proceeded to tell me he would find it. 15 minutes of him fumbling and pushing paperwork around he says I can't find it, I threw it away. I asked how I was to verify the paperwork was the same if he didn't have the original, he said well because the only thing that ch aged was the bank, and I asked but I don't know that without comparing, he said but where is your paperwork, I indicated I don't drive around with my financing paperwork in my car. He said well I promise it's just a change in bank. I indicated I was uncomfortable with signing a new contract without verifying the old. I asked if because the original loan paperwork was never funded did that mean that sale was void he said yes. I said so I can just give you the keys back and this is void and I will keep searching for a car for my son. He at no point attempted to make it right or even advise dealership manager that perhaps he had made an error and it was causing an issue with the sale of the car. I gave him the key and expressed I was very uncomfortable with how this was playing out and didn't want to proceed with the purchase of the car. They indicated that I was under contract and I had a 500 deposit. I said the contract is void you changed the terms even if it's the bank that changed you changed the contract after I signed it and you don't even have a copy of the contract that put me under contract on this car! I want my 500 deposit back and the sale is void. This place is shady I'd the are not doing something shifty in the books and attempting to move a sale through fast then they're just inadequate incompetent dealershi that's people are not equipped to handle a car transactio. I would be careful it is possible they could have puffed that new contract with anything they wanted and I wouldn't have known. They could have truly just made a mistake but at no point did a manager step in to try and help talk through it read more

I was sent a promotion for purchasing tires. BUY2GET2 I contacted the dealership and gave my info. I was told to call the Service Dept Several attempts failed so I recontacted the original associate. I was told they were very busy and someone would get back to me. I contacted them again the next day only to be told that they couldnt help me as they dont carry the size tire Im looking for. I was told in the beginning that they carried 12 major brands of tires. You would think among those 12 major brands that would include say Goodyear or Bridgestone or Cooper or Michelin among others.. I am seeking a common size tire and found many different options for the size Im looking for in almost every brand name possible. My opinion but I believe they dont really want to honor their promotion or deal with anyone unless you are in the dealership... Drove 1 hour there just for them to BS me and offer $16k. They never even looked at the car. I took my keys and drove another hour back home. I'll do this in Spanish and English. Long story short ... I live in Georgia and saw this Nissan leaf SL Plus advertised on the 77auto website. I called and arranged an appointment to go on Tuesday, November 23rd. traveled 3.5 hours to view and buy the car. The staff were very friendly but when I arrived I found that the car had not been fully charged and with dirt stains on the interior roof panel of the car. The black trims of the doors on the outside were dirty and the seats with dog hair. They told me they were going to charge the car and clean it well while they did my paperwork. I was cool with that and started the process. Two hours later they told me that they had taken the car to be charged and they had not realized that it had not been charging and they had not cleaned the car. It was already 1:40 pm and it was too late to re-charge it, so I asked the manager to send the car to my house fully charged and cleaned by Friday the 26th. I went home 3.5 hours back without any car, sadly, and with the promise to receive the car on Friday. Today is Friday the 26th. I just called the dealer to confirm the shipment of the car and they put me on hold (10min), probably squaring the delivery of the car at that time. The manager told me that the vehicle is going to be DRIVEN from SC to my house, they are going to charge it near my house and they are going to deliver it to me. He told me they don't have staff to clean the car at that level. I asked him if they don't have a tow truck or a delivery service to other nearby states and if that's their style of delivering cars. The manager said that because it is the day after Thanksgiving they have no staff. Was I the one who promised delivery that day? I have no problem driving my car down to my home on the day I went to the dealer (Tuesday) and putting those miles driving myself, but does someone else driving it? No way! They sold me a 2018 Nissan rouge and it didn't come with the plastic to cover the spare tire in the back, they didn't believe me when I said my breaks were screeching or when my blowing motor wasn't working and they had proof that they didn't work because I showed them. They brushed me off and had an attitude the first two times I went and the person who test drove my car left his bottle of liquor in MY car. They tried to cover it up by saying someone that works there sells it but I own a restaurant and have a liquor license it was literally in a paper bag. I said I would need a rental car to get around (for work and such) which is free when you read the fine print but they didn't want to give it to me at first even though the person I talked to said they would leave a form at the service desk to give it to me. read more

I would not recommend anyone buying from 77 Auto in Rock Hill. I purchase a 2019 Dodge Van and and I had to purchase a new battery for it two weeks after I got it. Which I know that could happen at anytime. This week Monday I was on my way home from work and my A/C quit blowing any cool air. So I called 77 Auto service department and left a message no call back called again on Tuesday left a another message finally someone called me back. I asked if it was covered under warranty she said she had no idea she wasn't in the sales or service department. Said the sales manager would call me today no call back. So I took it some where else and had it check. It was 1.50 low on Freon wants me to bring it in a week so they can recheck and see if the compressor going out if it is said it may last till next spring.
