Perhaps the sales manager was intimidated by our "educated" demeanor or the fact that our credit scores were higher than the staff's collective IQ. Watching the salespeople huddle near the entrance like a pack of confused wolves only to have the first person we encountered confirm they knew exactly which car we were talking about was a nice touch of unintentional transparency. Deciding to give them a lesson in basic ethics, I called from a different number using an alias. In a stunning turn of events, the car was resurrected! It was suddenly available for the "new" caller, right up until the point where Moses realized he had been caught in a blatant, bold-faced lie. At that moment, the vehicle entered a quantum state of being both sold and unsold simultaneously. Moses, who apparently moonlights as a fiction writer when he isn't botching sales, pivoted to a story about "lucky buyers" who just hadn't picked it up yet. It's impressive to watch a man double down on a falsehood while standing in a room full of people who already know he's full of it. I suppose I should have expected this level of "integrity" from an establishment that seemingly lives by the motto, "Why tell the truth when a lie will do?" It's a bold business strategy to profile customers and assume that intelligence is a liability, but I guess Moses and his team aren't used to dealing with people who can see right through their low-budget theatrics. I purchased a new 2026 Ford Escape in early March. It was used as a loaner before the purchase. A day after the purchase I noticed a small crack in the left brake light cover. I gently touched it and it was actually a large crack with a hole. I took it to the dealer and they looked at it. They told me that the warranty may not cover the repair expense. They said that they would call me. Crickets. I have to keep driving there to check and they keep saying that they're expecting to hear back from Ford. The part arrived weeks ago. Yesterday, the service advisor, Valerie, told me that the part had just arrived. The other service advisors had told me that the part has been there so long that it was going to be returned! So I was told a falsehood. I asked if future service to my vehicle would be like this and I received no answer; just a shrug. read more

On July 9, I experienced appalling treatment at Rock Hill Ford that I feel compelled to share. After paying nearly $3K for a flywheel/flex plate repair on July 3, my vehicle's underpan dropped while driving on the interstate just 5 days later. I returned to the dealership expecting a simple fix, but what followed was the most humiliating experience I've had at a dealership. Asst Service & Parts Director, Darrell Manigault aggressively insisted my axle was leaking -- $700 issue that he claimed had been ongoing. This made no sense given the timing of my previous repair which involved the removal of the axles. I tried to explain logical possibilities, but instead of listening, he escalated the situation in front of staff and customers, dismissed my concerns and belittled me for having an older vehicle. When I asked to speak with someone higher up, no one was available -- or so I was told. I was denied a loaner car and ignored by nearly everyone in the department. I had to call Ford Corporate just to be heard. After corporate's multiple failed attempts to reach service staff, Mr. Manigault finally agreed to repair the axle free of charge. This level of customer service is unacceptable - especially from someone in leadership. I left disrespected, unheard, belittled and publicly humiliated. I want Ford to make this right. read more

F150 started making a horrible grinding sound halfway through a road trip from FL to WV, formally we were 3 miles from RHF at the time. Limped to the service center with no advance notice and they were able to immediately diagnose the issue and had us on the road again in a couple hours! Mind you my truck brake system was working fine and had my brakes inspected months earlier by someone else.I was in Rock Hill Ford, 12/11/25. I wanted a 130,000 mile service done. They recommended a brake flush. Now here I am today 1/28/26 at the same place. Because I noticed excessive brake dust on my front right. Now they expect me to believe that they had nothing to do with the problem I'm having now. Now I need new rotors and brakes shoes for the front. Trust me when I say this PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SHIT THEY TELL YOU NEED. IS ABSOLUTE BS. THEY ARE LIARS AND RIPPING PEOPLE OFF. I WILL BE FILING WITH THE BBB. Rock hill ford service department does even deserve one star !!! We had our truck towed there, they were going to charge us $1600 just for an estimate . We told them NOT to touch it, we sent a tow truck to get it . They held our truck hostage until we paid them a diagnosis fee , $250 !!! These people are basically thieves. Max is in charge of the service department, and he is the worst . Don't make the mistake of buying a Ford to start with, we have a new F250 with the new 10 speed transmission. after purchasing my 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 from carlos and teddy on 2/16/26 l drive it for 6 days well as of 2/22/26 the vehicle quit shifting, went to the dealership 2/23 when they opened and the salesman said well it's and older vehicle with higher mileage things happen, they towed it in I sat in the dealership until 1:28pm with no being told anything they decided to put me in a temp vehicle well as of 10:52 am on 2/24 l still haven't received an update other than the salesman calling saying that they still didn't get my deal passed through and don't know any updates on the truck or if they will be able to get me into it or another one, or may just reverse the deal and refund me my deposit, the dealership them self's haven't reached out to me at all , the salesman reached out asking me to fix the review that it affects him read more

WORST EXCRESCENCE EVER!!!!!! My wife and i bought a Ford truck at Rock Hill Ford on 01/29/2025, the finance guy said we should have the tag in 2 or 3 weeks. after 3 weeks with no tag i called the dealership see if they could tell me if the paperwork was sent to the DMV. i was told the person you need to speak to is not in,she will call you back, no one ever called me back. i call ed again a day or 2 later, same thing some one will call you back, well i have called them 8 times in the last few weeks and not one time did any one call me back. our paper tag expired om March 16th, so we can not drive the truck, i called the DMV on March 24 and they told me the tag was being processed it may be 2 more weeks before we get it, she said the dealership could give us another paper tag so we can drive the truck. i called again to the dealership to see if they would give us a paper tag. and again i got the person that Handel's that will have to call you, never got a call back. so we have a new truck in our driveway we can not drive. so today is March 27th 2025 that about 2 Months and no tag. worst customer service i have ever seen. read more

Mill Ford), gave me an appointment the very next day, upfront cost estimate was accurate (again unlike FT Mill Ford). Even though I live in Fort Mill I will always go to Rock Hill Ford for ALL my Ford needs. Beware "Stay away from Fort Mill Ford" You have been warned. On Wednesday 11/6 I received a phone call asking how my quick lane experience was. I said my quick lane experience was fine. Thx. Then I was asked if there was anything else Rock Hill Ford can do? I said yes. I have a few issues with my Bronco that need attention but I absolutely need a loaner and the loaner situation at RHF is not very accommodating. We discussed me bringing my Bronco in on Thursday 11/14. This person said she was going to talk to Tina and call me back the next day. Now Saturday 11/9 and haven't heard from anyone. read more

My experience with this dealers was not stellar. Service advisor Max lied from the very beginning. I purchased a car as is and I truly understand the concept. However I was informed that certain things were taken care of prior to purchase and that was not the case. The car had to be taken back twice within a 90 day period one a week and a half after purchasing. The repairs were simple and could have very well been rectified before purchasing. It is my belief that the very least was done to this vehicle to gain the most financially. Max was not a good advisor or person to deal with. His deception has left a dark cloud over the dealership. read more

Drove 2 1/2 hours to the dealer for an internet price that was not honored in the final contract (3K over) what was advertised. The vehicle had 2k miles over the advertised mileage as well. The dealer never mentioned any of this and also knew that we had a commute for the vehicle. Wouldn't recommend unless you like false advertisement. read more

I hate to leave bad reviews, but my experience here was so incredibly terrible and has continued to be a nightmare. I purchased a car (~$60k) from them from across the country and was very happy with my vehicle, however, it took them over a month to ship it and they had elected to use a shipping company that had terrible reviews and spoke zero english so they were unable to provide updates. They had even "lost my car" at one point. After finally getting my car and driving it for a few months I had yet to receive any registration paperwork or plates. They had told me a long story of their title application and registration getting denied in my state and having to submit multiple times. Here I am 6 months later, ready to trade this car in for my new cybertruck, and the car is still not titled or registered properly and they are ignoring my calls and emails... I really do not know what to do other than leave this review and contact legal guidance. They continue to dodge my calls and ensure someone will give me a call back and it never happens. Lack of good communication in house for starters. Car was allegedly sold on 07 September 2024 and on Monday 09 September 2024, the sales person was still trying to get me there for a test drive, 3 hours away. There was no car. Then Xavier, a very poor sales representative, called me Monday and started yelling at me on the phone, then hung up when I tried to refute "his version, story". What a hot mess. I made them a cash offer on Friday, 06 September, which no one acknowledged. 8 contacts-calls and emails from them and no acceptance or counter on my offer. Monday they said the car was sold. Wouldn't buy popcorn from these guys. Sloppy, inept, unprofessional and unprepared for customers. read more
