These guys knocked it out the park for me. I wanted to just do a spark plugs change, coolant and brake fluid flush when I came in and they required their own check up. Come to find out my water pump and break pads where bad as well, and took videos/photos to me. At first I thought this was going to be another shop trying to scam more money out of me, but I had one of my friends exam the photos and video, to tell me I did really need it done and the prices they're giving is an honest deal. In hind sight my coolant did look like it was shrinking and I hadn't changed my breaks in 80k miles....Long story short these guys saved me a lot of money for the work they did and grief that I was going to have down the road. Wow!!! After calling 4 repair shops and visiting 3 local Rock Hill mechanics, I came across Car Guyz. I had an opportunity to meet Mike, the owner and I immediately knew 50s guy was going to help me. My 2006 Jaguar had a major suspension issue and I couldn't go more than 5 miles an hour, and had a gas leak and it seems like it was a rolling time bomb. Mike's tenacity to help solve my problem was absolutely fantastic. Within minutes he had his diagnostic tool out checking for leaks and vacuum problems and within 15 minutes diagnosed the issue and I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by his professionalism and expertise!! Mike and his crew check all my boxes. They are prompt, always! Thorough, to a fault. Mike will recommend care I didn't know I needed, but he is proven to be right. Mike prices his services very fairly, too. Recently he was tracking down a stubborn stalling problem on my 21 year old pickup. He fixed it, but the problem returned . Each time, he replaced the parts used previously. Sometimes he got reimbursed by parts manufacturer, but sometimes he paid out of his pocket. Said simply "it wasn't right" so I'll eat the cost. Honest, pleasant to deal with. Above all, you can trust these guys. They tell the truth. They work hard. I 100% disagree with the first post. I took my truck to get the steering box repaired because It sprung a leak. They did a horrible job. They made me late for a meeting which they said I would have the truck back in time for. The worst part of all though is, when they put the truck back together they left the steering wheel out a quarter turn. Then told me that the front end alignment will fix the steering wheel being out a quarter turn. This is the worst stuff I've ever heard in my life. These guys are lazy. I didn't even take the truck back for them to fix it, because if you're that lazy I don't need you touching my transportation. They're service is disrespectful it's so bad. This is a fair warning for anybody wanting to take their transportation to this place. read more
