    BBQ Burnt Ends Banh Mi

State Street Pub is such a fun spot right in the heart of Media! The location is perfect--especially during Dining Under the Stars when the outdoor bar is open and there's live music. The whole place has great energy and it's always hoppin'. We stopped by and tried the wings and the Banh Mi Pork Belly sandwich--both were fire. Packed with flavor and cooked just right. The wings had a nice crisp and the sandwich was full of bold, tasty goodness. Despite being super busy, the service was quick and friendly, which we really appreciated. They also do trivia nights, which we're excited to check out next time. Definitely a go-to for good food, good vibes, and a great time in Media!

This is actually funny because we wernt even suppose to be at this place but I'm glad we stopped in . We had a 20 min wait across the street so we came here for a quick drink and I say I was impressed. Tons of cool lighting with sports on the tvs and the bartenders were so friendly and helpful. We did get to try any food so I can't speak on that but for the most part. I think I'd definitely come back and give this place another whirl for the full experience.

Super friendly staff with quick attentive service It's very very loud but cool bar/ pub vibe. Shuffle board set up in the back. Cool septa train set up and Philly decor theme. Nice unique beer choices. Good options for food that are a step up from average bar food. Smoked old fashioned- Cool serving it with the cover so the smoke comes out at the table. It's good and strong. Smoke is mild and not overwhelming so it tastes smoky but you can still taste the bourbon. The GOAT- Very good, classic Brussels sprouts. Goat cheese is good the creamy cheese pairs well with the earthiness of Brussels. The walnuts get lost too. The One and Only- pork is juicy with flavor. Overall ok. Garlic bread is good but soggy fast. Too much cheese, overpowers the flavor of anything else. A lot of bread.

Solid spot for an affordable drinks and good bar food! I came here a few times over the past months. The service could definitely be improved, especially in the late night hours. There were times it was great, and other times where we waited a LONG time to get our orders taken. They did a Christmas overlay which was fun! They had tons of decorations and different wall paper all over the walls! They also had three holiday cocktails. I had the Ho Ho Ho, which was sweet but really good! The presentation was definitely full of holiday cheer. The food was just ok. My favorite thing was probably the buffalo cauliflower! There are definitely better eats on State Street in Media, but their kitchen is open later than most places, which is a plus!

Different cheesesteak #1103 in the last five years. Special Wednesday addition of drinks and cheesesteaks with Amigo Dan. They have a Filet Cheesesteak. I appreciate them trying something new/different but this was a miss. The meat was cubed and had a decent flavor. It comes with provolone cheese. Provolone isn't a melting cheese and I think this cheesesteak needs a cheese that will melt over the cubed meat. The provolone was mostly on the bottom. The roll was standard. I think filet deserves a premium roll.

I was very disappointed. I came here with some friends very hungry. After looking at the menu I just wasn't hungry anymore. It's limited and pricey. I almost just ordered a salad to call it a day but it would have been $16 dollars just to have a chicken ceasar salad. I can make a couple of them at home for that price. So, I decided if I was going to go broke I should do it with some actual filling food. So I ordered the bbq pulled pork sandwich. It sounded good. I got fries with it and water. I didnt finish it. It was tasteful, but I expect it to be easy to eat but the pork at times was hard to chew. The fries were the best part. When the entertainment came they were nice and cool, but it was so loud I could barely hear my friends. So that just wasn't for me personally. My friends got a cocktail, very pricey as well, and it was small but strong. I'll give them that I guess And the service? Our waitress was no where to be found for 90% of the time. I won't be coming back.

Went in here the other day for lunch, got this sandwich it was pretty good. The service was great as well. It's like bar food and bar vibe in here, not a bad spot.

We've been coming to Quotations for almost two years now, the food never disappoints and the service is great, make you feel at home. Great atmosphere for a drink or grab a bite to eat.

They also had a game viewing area in the back. But though out the place there were several TVs that had the game on. The menu had plenty of popular American style dishes. I got to try the chicken wings and mussels for appetizers. Both were excellent. My friends loved their sandwiches and salmon dishes as well. All the dishes were served within a short wait time. That changed the other night. Ambiance: Nice old school/ new school steakhouse vibe - just a bit brighter. Service: Excellent. Waitress and waitstaff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. They all seemed to work very well together and it made for a great experience. Items came out hot, promptly removed when we finished, and we had everything we wanted when we needed it. A+ Food: Baked clams were hot and fresh, but they fell flat. Even after adding salt, they just didn't hit the mark. A good baked clam highlights the clam, but surrounds it with simple flavor. Not bad by any means, but I get BCs a lot, and these didn't really rank. Ahi Tuna App: OK. Cold, but was more pink than red. Seaweed salad was lacking. Lacked overall flavor all around, just ok. C+ Seafood Fra Diavolo: Excellent! Fresh clams, mussels, shrimp, crab, and a flavor-packed sauce that was well-seasoned, bright, and had the perfect amount of kick - well, we added a bit more. The pasta was delicious and everything came out piping hot and had a nice brothy sauce with a nice amount if tomato texture. Well done - not everyone gets this right, but it's great when a steakhouse delivers a quality pasta dish. Spice Crusted NY Strip: Highly recommended by our waitress and she was right. This was a higj-quality cut, seasoned and spiced well, cooked a perfect medium-rare, and the shallot butter was amazing. This is what you want in a NY strip. Green beans were great, and mashed were ok. Yo - a delicious steak! Bananas Foster: who can't love a tableside dessert like this. Great entertainment value and despite being pretty full, we finished every last bite. Minor complaint - special was $14, we were charged regular price at $16. State Street Smoked Old Fashioned: I'm an Old Fashioned connoisseur, and this unfortunately missed the mark. Every steakhouse needs to have a kick-ass OF, this was not. It was bright red like HiC and as the institution's first cocktail listed, they should consider revamping this recipe - my $.02. It lacks the key characteristics of this classic cocktail. It did not get drank. I didn't say anything and I'm sure they would have made something else, that's just not me. We ended the night in the bar area listening to a cool band to a packed and lively bar. Overall, a really great experience and we'll be back.

We got seated right behind the live music and I'm so glad we asked to move since we got the cozy fireplace table and there's no way we could have heard eachother otherwise. The chairs were weirdly uncomfortable and seemed a mix of styles. When everything else called to be cozy that was an odd misstep in a cold winter night. They were out of a handful of things but they did have a super extra special menu to try. We had to sample the mashed potato balls but honestly they were dense and dry without a lot of flavor. If you mixed with the sauce they were ok but don't really recommend. The stews were amazing, and the shepherds pie will absolutely take you back to the island, and huge portions. After checking with the hostess, we were whisked away to a cozier table by the room's fireplace. Given the cold weather, it was quite nice. That table also had some more comfortable seats, so I'm glad they could accommodate the switch. Our server was quite personable, and took good care of us as we ordered drinks and waited for the rest of our group. She did need to check on some menu items and they had some sold our dishes, but there were plenty of options still. When the food came, one of our entrees had a small mix up, but it was resolved before the rest of our food made it out. My shepherd's pie filling was deliciously rich. The mashed potatoes on top were broiled to crispy perfection. I didn't love the bread on the side, but I had more than enough pie to fill me up. Overall, I'd love to go back and try some other menu options.

For the tiny location that is tucked away off of Old State in Media, there is so much more space in here than one would expect when looking from the outside. We were actually seated at first, but already had dinner plans for a bit later in the evening so moved to the bar area, which we had a little bit of trouble finding at first, but was OBVIOUS once we realized where it was located within the building. Everyone was wonderful and the place was pretty busy for as early in the evening that we arrived, and each person we encountered was great, including Ryan behind the bar where we eventually settled. He was quick with our beer order; me settling with an Oktoberfest, another of us with a nitro porter, and yet another with an Orange crush, as well as a nice heaping plate of sweet potato fries that were perfectly crisp, salted impeccably, and served piping hot...possibly some of the best I've had in the area The beer was outstanding, with the nitro porter easily being the star of the drink order. However, neither of the others were any slouch, and everything came quickly, with the staff very keen on our requests due to our reservations elsewhere later on. Having been in the area for several years now and frequenting Media, I likely should have come here far earlier and many more times by now, although it simply hadn't happened yet. This will definitely be a place that I will be returning to for a full meal, a few flights and some other drinks so that I can fully experience their offerings beyond what I can find in stores close to me.
