Double sheephead or skrewball neat at prestigious places like Departures, Off the Rails, Stephens in Media PA.

Hey state street pub - this is a REAL double pour of sheep head- which is not what I PAY $14 at your place. Bye bye!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]State Street Pub is such a fun spot right in the heart of Media![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is perfect--especially during Dining Under the Stars when the outdoor bar is open and there's live music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The whole place has great energy and it's always hoppin'.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We stopped by and tried the wings and the Banh Mi Pork Belly sandwich--both were fire. Packed with flavor and cooked just right. The wings had a nice crisp and the sandwich was full of bold, tasty goodness. Despite being super busy, the service was quick and friendly, which we really appreciated. They also do trivia nights, which we're excited to check out next time. Definitely a go-to for good food, good vibes, and a great time in Media!

This is actually funny because we wernt even suppose to be at this place but I'm glad we stopped in . We had a 20 min wait across the street so we came here for a quick drink and I say I was impressed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tons of cool lighting with sports on the tvs and the bartenders were so friendly and helpful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We did get to try any food so I can't speak on that but for the most part. I think I'd definitely come back and give this place another whirl for the full experience.

Super friendly staff with quick attentive service It's very very loud but cool bar/ pub vibe. Shuffle board set up in the back. Cool septa train set up and Philly decor theme. Nice unique beer choices. Good options for food that are a step up from average bar food. Smoked old fashioned- Cool serving it with the cover so the smoke comes out at the table. It's good and strong. Smoke is mild and not overwhelming so it tastes smoky but you can still taste the bourbon. The GOAT- Very good, classic Brussels sprouts. Goat cheese is good the creamy cheese pairs well with the earthiness of Brussels. The walnuts get lost too. The One and Only- pork is juicy with flavor. Overall ok. Garlic bread is good but soggy fast. Too much cheese, overpowers the flavor of anything else. A lot of bread.

Solid spot for an affordable drinks and good bar food! I came here a few times over the past months. The service could definitely be improved, especially in the late night hours. There were times it was great, and other times where we waited a LONG time to get our orders taken. They did a Christmas overlay which was fun! They had tons of decorations and different wall paper all over the walls! They also had three holiday cocktails. I had the Ho Ho Ho, which was sweet but really good! The presentation was definitely full of holiday cheer. The food was just ok. My favorite thing was probably the buffalo cauliflower! There are definitely better eats on State Street in Media, but their kitchen is open later than most places, which is a plus!

Different cheesesteak #1103 in the last five years. Special Wednesday addition of drinks and cheesesteaks with Amigo Dan. They have a Filet Cheesesteak. I appreciate them trying something new/different but this was a miss. The meat was cubed and had a decent flavor. It comes with provolone cheese. Provolone isn't a melting cheese and I think this cheesesteak needs a cheese that will melt over the cubed meat. The provolone was mostly on the bottom. The roll was standard. I think filet deserves a premium roll.

I was very disappointed. I came here with some friends very hungry. After looking at the menu I just wasn't hungry anymore. It's limited and pricey. I almost just ordered a salad to call it a day but it would have been $16 dollars just to have a chicken ceasar salad. I can make a couple of them at home for that price. So, I decided if I was going to go broke I should do it with some actual filling food. So I ordered the bbq pulled pork sandwich. It sounded good. I got fries with it and water. I didnt finish it. It was tasteful, but I expect it to be easy to eat but the pork at times was hard to chew. The fries were the best part. When the entertainment came they were nice and cool, but it was so loud I could barely hear my friends. So that just wasn't for me personally. My friends got a cocktail, very pricey as well, and it was small but strong. I'll give them that I guess And the service? Our waitress was no where to be found for 90% of the time. I won't be coming back.

Went in here the other day for lunch, got this sandwich it was pretty good. The service was great as well. It's like bar food and bar vibe in here, not a bad spot.

We've been coming to Quotations for almost two years now, the food never disappoints and the service is great, make you feel at home. Great atmosphere for a drink or grab a bite to eat.

And, the plates remained once we hurriedly ate the food the "airline" pushed in front of us. The soups were delicious with the French Dip layered with thinly sliced beef (It was called a French Dip after all.) soaking in a rich onion influced broth accompanied by a soaked brioche crouton covered in melty provolone. The Butternut Squash Bisque flavored with asiago was definitely a winner too but before our soup course was 1/2 finished and with our Mediterranean Platter's tabouleh still showing its colors and enough hummus to later lead our waitress to ask if we wanted more pita ... the first entree was added to our crowded table. Not sure where the blame lies for the hurried appearance of plates but we were looking forward to a special evening out ... a birthday dinner choice ... a restaurant specializing in small plate dining should be well accustomed to serving diners in a relaxed manner. Upon their arrival I looked at the Schnitzel Medallions but wanted to enjoy the French Dip soup ... I knew the temperature of the food would be decreasing but the soup was so good. Why in the world would the first plate be served while we were enjoying our soup literally with soup spoons in or hands ... no, I did not hear that our flight was boarding ... we were in no rush but we were being rushed. So, now on the small table were our two soup bowls that we were finishing ... the plate still holding quite a bit of our Mediterranean Platter (We did expect to have some small talk after all it was a birthday celebration so we had leisurely started eating this appetizer.), we had the plates that we were expected to eat off of (Mine still had hummus and tabouleh on it.) and this brand new plate with pork tenderloin and asparagus. Maneuvering food became a needed skill. My dining partner put some schnitzel onto her "eating" plate letting soup cool ... I decided hot soup was more important than hot or even warmish pork so I continued to eat my soup but rushing soup made it less enjoyable. So, I finished my soup squeezing the empty bowl into a limited space on the table ... my "eating plate" was crowded still having hummus on it because I rushed my soup .. my dining partner said "yum the Schnitzel is good" while her soup chilled. I took the serving plate with the remaining Schnitzel and asparagus eating off it since it was the only plate with room. Before I took a bite the sliders arrived further crowding the table. Quickly the Butternut Squash Bisque was finished so that she could eat a hot well maybe warm Crispy Fish Slider ... I was still working on the Schnitzel knowing I was going to eat cold fish. And, as we both kept putting food in our mouths foregoing any conversation the Chicken Primavera arrived and looked picture perfect amidst the crowded table but finally the soup bowls were removed ... there's still hummus and tabloeh from that Mediterranean Platter that we didn't have time to finish and the waitress asks if we would like more pita ... sure ... I had just finished the cold slider and was about to try the chicken primavera. She also then noticed my water glass was almost empty and asked if I wanted a refill ...I did but had been so busy shoving food down my mouth that I just barely noticed I needed water (I actually knew I did but no one ever stopped by to ask.). And, just in case you're wondering... our flight still was not close to taking off from the terminal in this lovely lounge (It really is an attractive restaurant to dine in.) that reminded us of a classic airport lounge but it felt like a hallway fast food eatery. We had come to enjoy a leisurely small plate dinner with good conversation...celebrating a birthday before heading off to the theatre. You might be wondering why there are three stars rather than one. Well, the food was all really tasty. I would say it was delicious even though due to the rush the only food I ate that was hot was my soup. We finally did get back to that Mediterranean Platter and yes, we were given more pita and I wasn't rushed eating it because there was nothing left to be served. Oh, it looks like they have some nice outside seating for warmer days. We skipped the mixed drinks ... they looked really good and other folks seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Let them know I'm right down the street and just need a 5 minute notice and they would call back when it wasn't busy - they called me back in less than 30 minutes and said ready in 10 minutes. I love the fact that if they are too busy and can't accommodate at that time they're honest. It's a small family business the Mom is the host and probably one of my favorites she is like old school south Philly meets Mother Theresa! The chef is a perfectionist and I always try at least one special and have never regretted it. I am utterly amazed each time at the dishes he comes up with. Overall price wise they cannot be beat, huge portions and every bite was heavenly. Where can you get this much fresh, delicious food for under $100 no where except New American Bistro. It's also extremely rare to get take out and it be as good as served in the restaurant. The beet with pistachio encrusted goat cheese salad with raspberry dressing. This salad had it all! Everything was so fresh and crisp. There were so many bursts of flavor. This was a special hopefully it will be added to the menu. Rating: 5/5 Spicy crab chowder - we always order. It's my husband's favorite soup. Rating: 5/5 Blackened Scallops with Raviolis and Lobster Sauce - we always order. Appetizer size comes with 4 blackened scallops and a couple ravioli. Rating: 5/5 Maryland crab cake with Ravioli and pesto sauce. This was my first time trying and typically does not get pesto dishes. This had so much flavor and was refreshing if that makes any sense. Appetizer size comes with a very large crab cake and a couple ravioli. Rating: 5/5 Gnocchi's with Jumbo Lump Crabmeat and Gorgonzola Sauce- this is my absolute favorite dish. The Gorgonzola sauce you could drink. I dip the homemade bread in the sauce after. It's my favorite. I'm a huge Gorgonzola fan I put it on everything. The Gorgonzola sauce on this particular dish I find to be mild and perfection. I just woke up thinking of this dish it is so unbelievably good. Rating: 5/5
