This is a review for customer service not for any roofing work. I recently discovered I needed to have my walkable patio re-sealed as it was beginning to show age and wear. After looking around at roofing companies I noticed a neighbor of mine had used State48 for their new roof so I decided to reach out via Yelp to schedule an estimate. After getting things scheduled Tanner came out a few days later and walked my patio/decking and gave me a run down of what he thought was needed, what could wait, and items that might change the cost depending on what's discovered during some tear ups that might be needed (fixing a badly done patch before). Though I have chosen another company to do the work (roofers who had done previous work for me in the past) I wanted to make sure to give credit to State48 for being super kind and professional from scheduling to Tanner himself. Again Tanner was kind enough to answer all my questions in person with out any pressure or feeling like I was wasting his time. UPDATE: I was contacted by the owner of State 48 Roofing after leaving my previous review. He was very professional and personally came out to make sure my roof was repaired properly. He also assured me that the lack of communication was not the standard that he expected from employees and that he would address this. He also, personally, made sure the property was free of all debris from the repair. Roof looks great. I would definitely call them again after speaking with Jason. Before deciding to leave a bad review, I looked to see what others had to say. I was surprised that I couldn't find another unhappy review. Did he fix the roof? I don't know. He never communicated with me. State 48 was hired by the property management company I rent from. I was told they would contact me to schedule a time to come out. Never heard from them until I was awakened (working nights recently) by the sound of someone walking on my roof. I went outside to find a strange man on my roof. He said he thought the property was unoccupied. Not a safe assumption to make. So I let him continue to work. I expected that he would let me know what was done before leaving. Nope. read more

We highly endorse State 48 Roofing for anyone with any roof issue. We discovered several leaks in our roof at the same time we were trying to sell the home. We were "scammed" by a roofer who led us to believe we needed to new roof. The price he quoted was twice as much as a new roof should have cost. I called State 48 and explained the situation. Even though they were extremely busy because of all the storms we were having, they had someone come out the next morning! Guess what... we didn't need a whole new roof! State 48 gave us 3 different options for the work needed. Not once did they try to upswell! The workers were spectacular! They explained everything to us every step of the way. Jason and State 48 Roofing did an excellent job! I highly recommend them. It was a pleasure dealing with such a professional and competent organization. The work crew was a model of efficiency! They arrived on time, worked quickly and well together did a great job and carefully cleaned up all debris as I was concerned with clean up as I was not in town and concerned with the home association. One thing they did, that no other company did was they send me a copies of pictures before, during and after so I followed the process. In working with Jason, the owner, he was very very helpful; always responding to my many questions no matter what time of day I was sending them. The communication was better than expected of a roofing company and just made things a lot easier on me. I really appreciated that. After the September 12 windstorm removed many shingles from our roof, we were fortunate to be referred to TJ Fox of State 48 Roofing. TJ was a dream to work with. Not only did he take the time to examine the roof immediately, but also made sure he was present when the adjustor from our insurance company made his inspection. TJ worked with our insurance company and spent all the time necessary to make sure we understood all the processes. The roof was completed in exceptional time and looks beautiful. State 48 did an outstanding job in re-roofing our house. They were recommended to us by a friend, and we could not have been happier. We were given a great quote by Tanner. Even after the scope of the work turned out to be more extensive (crane and harnesses needed), State 48 honored their original quote. The work was overseen by Joe and Diego. Both were professional, courteous, friendly, accommodating, and very easy to work with. All the workers did an excellent, thorough job. They cleaned up every night before leaving the job site, in addition to being very neat while working. After the job was completely done, they did a thorough cleanup of the entire property, making sure there were no stray nails or debris anywhere. A couple weeks ago we noticed a leak into our garage during an overnight storm, we reached out to state 48 and Jason Payne the owner personally came out the next morning first thing, and made quick work of the inspection identifying several active leaks. Very quickly after having a 2nd opinion, the decision was made to go with State 48 for a new roof. Jason, Diego and their team did a fantastic job replacing the roof on my old house. It was in bad shape and needed a complete overhaul. State 48 got the job done and the end result is a gorgeous roof that I am confident will last for many years to come. Diego responded quickly to all messages, including on weekends and in the evenings. Complications arose along the way, including an unusual rain-storm in Phoenix (go figure) that resulted in a need to coordinate all resources to complete the job. Found a leak in the roof a while back. it began to multiply to 5 total. The hassle I went through to get it repaired was phenomenal. I was given State48 Roofing by the insurance agent. Very happy to report that my new roof is on my house and the install by State 48 Roofing could not have gone more smoothly. Jason gave me pricing/warranty options after walking my roof and assessing it's condition. I made my choice and we scheduled a date to begin the process. The install crew arrived on schedule and the work began....albeit, in 110 degree temperatures. After each day of work, the crews walked my property picking up trash and any stray nails. The job was finished on time and on budget. Jason was the last State 48 employee off my property, after he came by to assess the work and also searching for any other stray nails.
