We had a water leak using as much as 1500 gallons a day! After failing to find the problem ourselves and having to turn off the main water valve we went to Thumbtack for referrals. We selected Chris for his great reviews, and they were right - he was great! He responded immediately from our inquiry on Thumbtack, came over first thing the next morning. He immediately identified our problem - the toilets were running water like crazy. We were just glad it wasn't a leaking pipe under our foundation. Chris gave us a reasonable quote and replaced the innards of all 3 toilets in the house, turned on the water and verified that the problem was solved. Called Chris and he switched out my kitchen faucet for me with a nicer one for a great price. He was quick, did good work, and was kind to my dog who at first was a bit hesitant to say hello. I would recommend him and his company and would use his services again. I should add this is the second time I have used Chris. He switched out a garbage disposal at a rental property quickly for me. I called him on a Thursday night when I received word from my tenant that the disposal was having issues and he had it replaced by Saturday and coordinated directly with my tenant to make sure the timing worked for their schedule. I needed my front loader washer and dryer installed in my new place (units had been in storage for over a year, needed new water supply line and some other misc components). Chris came very well prepared; however, he realized shortly into install that he needed to extend the dryer duct (dryer vent was in the wrong corner of the closet for the orientation of door swing on the units to work). He didn't have the required materials with him but he set me up temporarily so I could get laundry going, then came back the next day to complete the installation. We had a rather urgent plumbing problem come up on a Sunday (of course) and I was worried about finding a service that could help us quickly. Chris got back to me same day, and when he came out to inspect, was thorough and got the problem solved. I'll add that he could have proposed more expensive procedures to investigate the problem and talked me off the ledge as I was worried about tree root damage to the pipes under the house. We first had Chris out for a couple small plumbing areas that needed work. Chris mentioned about doing a Tankless Waterheater and since as was getting old, we discussed it and decided now was the time to do it. Chris did the installation on Thursday and will come back to install a new softwater unit to work in conjunction with the tankless unit. Chris was responsive, professional and very helpful. Our tankless water heater started some horrid metallic screaming when a valve went out. Chris replaced the valve and still had to do some investigating and problem-solving to figure out that we had a significant pressure problem from the main line and replaced the PRV. He even responded after hours to help me turn off the unit (and silence the ungodly SCREAMING) while we waited for the part to arrive. Chris is amazing. My water heater was leaking on the Saturday before New Years and I called my home warranty and they were going to send someone out New Year's Eve. New Year's Eve that plumber canceled and said he couldn't come out for another week. The warranty said we could deal with our own plumber and I contacted Chris.
