STAT lives up to its name! On Wednesday, I closed escrow on a house. I was aware that the heater didn't work and had to be repaired or replaced. The same day, I heard that a freeze was coming up on Saturday night/Sunday morning. On Thursday, I Googled what to do; I learned that, because I couldn't heat the house, it wasn't enough just to drip the faucets; I needed to shut off all the water, drain all the pipes, and drain the water heater. I'm an old lady and not handy AT ALL. I could manage to shut off the water and drain the pipes, but draining the water heater (which was in the attic) was beyond me. I did have a handyman, and I did ask him to do it, but he said HE didn't know how, and I'd need to find a professional plumber. At 8:00 a.m., I started calling plumbers. I had left messages with three, including STAT, and was about to call a fourth when Chris from STAT returned my call. He said he could probably come between 2:00 and 4:00, but even if he got delayed, he would still come that same day. I was ecstatic, but of course, there was still the tiny worry that this guy I'd never spoke to before might cancel or fail to show up. Not Chris! At 1:10, he called and said he was on his way; he arrived before 2:00. He took care of everything and answered all my questions. I hadn't even asked him what he was going to charge me, but the price turned out to be EXTREMELY reasonable for emergency plumbing services. I will always be grateful to Chris, and I whole-heartedly recommend STAT. read more

I called STAT for an emergency leak issue in a business suite and he was able to make it out very quickly. It turned out his services weren't needed as it was an A/C matter but he was prompt, professional and happy to help troubleshoot the solution. Chris responded to my request for help with a new water heater that didn't heat the water. He was here the next morning and replaced my heating elements very quickly and professionally. Thank you so much for doing a great job and especially for being so responsive....I highly recommend him and his company!!!!! read more

Chris and his team at STAT were awesome! Responsive. Work completed quickly. Quality work. Fair price. Highly recommended!

**HIGHLY RECOMMEND** Wish I had found these guys at onset of my search. They will now be my go to. Long of short: copper pipe sprung a leak between bedroom wall and bathroom shower a day ago. Had to shut main off to prevent more internal water damage. One agency initially committed, then went sideways. Was left at square one, searching for a plumber again. STAT answered their phone, finished their current job, and came straight over. Chris and his partner, fixed the problem, cleaned up, and did an excellent job. The price was very reasonable and the work was on point. I've said it before, but customer service is a dying thing. Chris and his company STAT still have it. Much appreciated. read more

Love this guy. On time, professional, and knows his stuff. Put in a tankless water heater and he explained the difference of the many brands which is a big difference in quality and put in a whole house filtration in other words a soft water system. Best thing ever. What a difference. Competitive pricing. I do not like any kind of a contractor because they lie, cheat and you can never count on them to show up. A completely DIFFERENT and PLEASURABLE experience. Can't say it enough. Having him back now to do more plumbing work. Trust me, I am hard to please. read more

Chris was a blessing! He was very professional, was able to quote and fix our water heater issues very quickly, and even checked another issue with our dishwasher. So thankful that we found a great plumber. I highly recommend this company. read more

Chris is now my go-to plumber moving forward. I contacted multiple plumbers on Yelp, and Chris was by far the most responsive and reliable. He came out as quick as he could, and not only did he fix the problem but he also referred me to another company for some non-plumbing related work that have also been really good to work with. I've worked with many different plumbers and tradesman over the years, and haven't written a single Yelp review about any of them but felt compelled to write one for Chris considering how good of a job he did, how fast he was, how well he communicated throughout the entire process, and how fair he was with his fees. Thank you again Chris! read more

I had an urgent plumbing situation and contacted Chris to see if he could help resolve it. He came out as soon as possible, and was able to diagnose and clear up the issue in one visit. Very professional and a nice guy. Will be my go-to plumbing needs guy going forward! read more

Thank you Chris for helping me out with my rental property in Aliso viejo. Chris did a fantastic job replacing an old blown out water heater. Chris is a very professional hard working guy and most importantly extremely nice and educated in plumbing and as I found out many other things. Great guy. Great work. Highly recommend. BTW Chris is owner and operator, which is a far better choice than the large plumbing company's sending out employees who really don't care as much as Chris did. Thanks bud read more

Chris was prompt in replacing my shower head and also took the time to look at a few other plumbing issues while he was here. Great communicator and clearly explains options. Will definitely use him again! read more

It was time to replace an old hot water tank with a tankless system. The process could not have been easier from start to finish. The installer Chris came on time and had everything he need for the job and then some. Three hours later I had a new Tankless system in the house. Because of the current social distancing recommendations Chris was very cautious and maintained a contactless distance throughout. I could not be happier with the results. read more

I called Chris at 8pm on a Saturday night on Easter weekend when my kitchen sink completely stopped draining. He responded quickly and gave me some thoughts on what he anticipated the problem to be and came out the next morning and fixed the problem quickly. His quote stayed the same and no up charges for weekend or holiday. He wore a mask and was very professional. Highly recommend. read more

Had a kitchen drain clog - you know how that goes, it's pretty much something that needs fixed right away, and everything in the house grinds to a halt until it works again. I contacted Chris via yelp based on all the great reviews. This was on a Saturday night, when other places were closed or unavailable here in Portola Hills. Chris was on the job Sunday morning, brought the right tools, got it done quickly and correctly, and even recommended some ways of keeping the drain free and clear in the future. He showed up when he said he would, did what he said he would, and charged what he said he would. The guy was professional and workmanlike, with a great attitude to boot - answered all our questions right away. Highly recommended. read more

We had a leak in my daughter's bedroom and called a couple of plumbers. One plumber told us we had a slab leak and quoted us $18,500 for a whole house re-piping. Chris from Stat Plumbing came to give us a quote and found out our AC was leaking. We are so thankful for his honesty and diligence. This saved us a lot of money.. We decided to use Stat Plumbing to fix a leaky bathtub and rebuild our main waterline with a pressure regulator. His quote was hundreds less than other quotes we received. The job was completed in a couple hours and they are very knowledgeable, answering my questions and explaining things. Would highly recommend as Stat Plumbing is honest and won't try and rip you off. read more

15 year old water heater finally died and decided to say goodbye by flooding our garage on Thursday at almost midnight. Spoke to Chris by 7:30am Friday from my Yelp inquiry at midnight and sent him pictures of my issues. By 1:30pm Tiffany was at our home to do a quick look-see and quote. We decided on tankless water heater with circulator pump. Saturday 10am Marty came to start the job and by end of Saturday, we have a beautiful tankless water heater, almost instant hot water running whenever we use the faucets/shower. Everyone we encountered throughout this process were pleasant to talk to, straightforward, competitive pricing and just great customer service overall. Will recommend again and again! read more

Chris with STAT plumbing arrived five minutes earlier than scheduled. The on-time first meet coupled with his pleasant personality delivered a solid first impression. The drainage problem was diagnosed and confirmed via camera view to be what I already suspected (root infested sewer pipes). Chris rolled out the heavy artillery and drill shredded the invasive root clusters to pieces. Problem solved within two hours. Wife happy! Will work with Chris sometime soon to swap the 18th century water heater technology with a TANKLESS WATER HEATING SYSTEM....blah blah, blah. Do I recommend him and his work. ABSOLUTELY YES read more

Couldn't have been happier with Chris' generosity (he spent a ton of time texting with me as I troubleshot issues with my tankless water heater before he even got the job), punctuality, transparency and workmanship. He proved to be reliable, intelligent and flexible. Chris ran a dedicated 1" gas line to my water heater and offered to look into any other issues I might be having as well. I HIGHLY recommend Chris. I wish all contractors and subcontractors were of his caliber. I would definitely hire him again. read more

Chris responded immediately to my call on a Sunday and was over at our house in a few hours. EXCELLENT, HONEST, REASONABLE & RELIABLE. I am always skeptical when using a new plumber or electrician, but I was pleasantly surprised by Chris at STAT Plumbing. We are so relieved to find someone we can trust, who is reasonable and calls you back. Chris was busy, but made contact with me for two days until he could get to us. When he arrived, he had his mask on and did a thorough job at finding the root of our leak problem. He ran his cameras through the pipes to make sure there was not another issue and to our surprise, there was not as much damage as another contractor previous told us. Thank you Chris, you are now our go to plumber. We are so happy our neighbors recommended you. read more

10/10 Would recommend every time! Our water heater started leaking and we needed someone fast, but didn't want to be ripped off on price and/or have someone do a half ass job. He walked us through everything he was doing and was very efficient. I won't trust anyone but him to work on my plumbing needs again! Thanks Chris! read more

Hands down the best plumber I've ever hired and will ever hire for that matter. There is no plumbing issue that is too big or too small for Chris Kuskie, the owner, and I know this because we have had 4 issues in the last year: a leaky toilet removal and new install, a hot water tank replacement and tankless water heater install, a broken shower cartridge (no hot water) and lastly a broken hot water pipe. In all these instances, Chris was fast to respond (within a few hours same day). He has a network of other highly qualified professionals that he can reach out to for emergency and crisis moments and like him these professionals are fast to respond--this we discovered when a broken water pipe flooded our downstairs. Upon assessment he has always given us honest advice and resources to do our own homework. In all instances he offered the best solution at an affordable cost. A highly skilled plumber and just a nice and decent person, he clearly is interested and motivated in helping people and has his customers best interest at heart. Responsive, reliable, honest, and hardworking, STAT Emergency Plumbing Services is a sure go to for our (your) plumbing needs! read more
