So I had to take my kids here to check it out! I think my hubs said ice cream cones used to be 10 cents back in the day. I know its not 10 cents anymore but it will still be cheaper than normal and I was right! $2.49 for a single scoop. Not bad, considering we had ice cream last night for $5! The sweet elderly lady working was a gem. Loved her. You can pick up the iconic scoop here too for $29.99. My daughter got a strawberry cone, my son got a mint chocolate chip, and I got a malted chocolate crunch. Omg it was crazy delicious! I've never had anything like it I want more!!! Do try it if you get an opportunity! So nostalgic! Wish there were more around!

They have filled the wrong meds or overcharged me multiple times and they can't fix it or "take returns" even though I never left the store. I just turned around after checking out and it was right there. We are moving pharmacies after this. Wasted way too much money on wrong meds

What I have observed is a very messy store, empty/disorganized shelves, stacks of boxes in the aisles for days at a time, the CVS pharmacy never picks up the phone (I have been in the line at the pharmacy and could hear their phone system telling them they had calls & the staff completely ignored it). The kicker was when I was able to switch my aunt's prescriptions to another pharmacy, CVS refused to forward the prescriptions, even after a call from the pharmacist at the new pharmacy.

They also don't deserve to be written up for not ringing people up in a timely manner when they are only one person.

Initially the process was ok but I've never had an order take less than a week. Then I was told that insurance companies were "squeezing" them on pricing so I had to pay the difference between what insurance would pay and the profit they wanted. Finally they added a $30 "surcharge" to every visit. I finally had it after I picked up 2 prescriptions and the total was over $100! They also have inexperienced counter help who were unable to answer any questions and simply handed me a piece of paper that said the insurance companies were to blame. Last time I forgot it while out of town, I was able to buy one at CVS. So naturally, I went to CVS in Solvang but to my surprise they did not have any form of a wrist brace. So my only option now was Rite Aide. I was crossing my fingers they had one. It was about 8:00pm on a Saturday and when I walked in the store was empty and a clerk was stocking merchandise. She greeted me immediately and asked if she could help me find anything. I told her what I was looking for and she confirmed they did carry the item and she led me to the shelf. She even looked over the options to find the one most like the one I described. I was so excited they had it! It was a bit pricier than I paid on my last purchase for it but I was just happy they had it in stock. It was such a huge relief to know I could sleep that night.
