I have been receiving vaccines from this location for about a year. The app is super easy to use. The pharmacy here is super dialed in. I have had NO issues. They are quick, organized, and friendly. In and Out quicker than any other location. This is a great place to get your shots. read more

This is the worst CVS I've been in. I gave them grace during covid, hoping things would improve, but they haven't. I only go when I have to pick up medicine for my parents/elderly relatives. What I have observed is a very messy store, empty/disorganized shelves, stacks of boxes in the aisles for days at a time, the CVS pharmacy never picks up the phone (I have been in the line at the pharmacy and could hear their phone system telling them they had calls & the staff completely ignored it). The kicker was when I was able to switch my aunt's prescriptions to another pharmacy, CVS refused to forward the prescriptions, even after a call from the pharmacist at the new pharmacy. read more

This CVS is really dodgy I am sorry to report. The store is missing inventory left and right. Apparently there is an exceptionally high rate of theft here which doesn't make me feel all warm and fuzzy. The clerks blame everyone else, but I didn't see anyone trying. Open during indicated operating times. Had everything I needed. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Check Check. Check. Boom. A couple of sketchy characters hanging out in the dark by the Glacier water machine. I would have given a ZERO star, but you have to give at least one, unfortunately. This CVS @1830 N. Broadway, Santa Maria CA has some of the rudest associates working here . . naming **Christian Cortés** and he is extremely difficult, hangs up on you, has poor phone etiquette, is dishonest, does not give you your money/credit back if the pharmacy over charges you, argues with you, and claims to be the manager of the pharmacy, but does not act professional at all. The other employees when you walk in at the pharmacy & up front of the store are not very cheerful, they don't smile, they don't say hello or good morning, they don't thank you or say have a nice day when they give you your receipt, they don't know how to count your change back. read more

I don't know what was up at this store today. The pharmacy closed I don't know why, People were standing at the register and no one was there, one guy in armed vest was down the isle talking to another girl, I guess she was a employee, but no one in a hurry, then, they finally came to the front, and asked to customers to use the kiosk! Crazy, then that guy disappeared. It was like they were all going to a party and wanted to get out of there asap. My kiosk said I needed help. Management really needs to step it up and manage this store because it seems like they have no pride or care for their job which reflects back on appearance & customer service. This is the worst run pharmacy I have ever dealt with! They have the discount card that I always use, but they only give you the discount if you check the prices at the counter. My husband went to pick up two prescriptions for me this evening and the discount was not used. This is ludicrous. It's not supposed to be a fast food drive-through where you have to check that the order is correct before leaving....oops, yes it is :( Time for a new pharmacy! read more

Right when we walked in the girl on the first counter greeted us (I don't think that's ever happened before at any drug store!). Purchased Starbucks gift card for $50 and when loaded, it was only $15. Paid cash for it went back to CVS and they told me, "For all we know you could've already spent the money." Are you kidding me?! Easy way to come up on cash I suppose since I paid cash and was giving the card as a gift so I would not find out right away I got ripped off. Never going back. That scronny boy you have as a cashier has to go. I shop at the CVS at North Broadway in Santa Maria, Ca.all the time. Twice last week the same teller made me ask for my change. It was very intentional. So I reported her to another manager, but I think that nothing will come of it. I asked if they would look at their video cameras to see what happened. It makes me NOT want to enter that store again. I came in today and used the coin machine, when I went to the cashier, he made a big deal how I was going to take all his fives first thing in the morning when it was 24.22 , so, why couldn't he give me a 20.00? I highly recommend coming to this particular CVS in Santa Maria every time I come in I'm always greeted at the door with a smile..I came in today looking for powder foundation.. I was looking around one of the employees asked me if they can help me .. I said I'm just looking for mineral powder foundation thank u ! She went out of her way to look for mineral powder foundation's to show me which I thought was really nice.. I've been to other CVS in Santa Maria they don't even greet you at the door and when you get to the register they look like they don't even want to be there so I'm glad to say that by the time I got to the register there was a younger girl she had the biggest smile on her face and was extremely nice I felt welcome and she wished me a great day as I walked out it doesn't get better than that ...little things like that can make someone's day...Great job CVS!!
