Initially the process was ok but I've never had an order take less than a week. Then I was told that insurance companies were "squeezing" them on pricing so I had to pay the difference between what insurance would pay and the profit they wanted. Finally they added a $30 "surcharge" to every visit. I finally had it after I picked up 2 prescriptions and the total was over $100! They also have inexperienced counter help who were unable to answer any questions and simply handed me a piece of paper that said the insurance companies were to blame. I had to take my business elsewhere, these people are taking out their anger at insurance companies on customers.

They also offer free gift wrapping with nice paper, ribbon, and a gold foil Rexall sticker on the package. My main hesitation for that fifth star is the unrelenting onslaught of "can I help you"s, where it almost feels like you're being monitored while you browse. Of course it's always great to have help when you need it, but I find this level of engagement disconcerting and it makes me want to hurry up and get out of there. The prices on most items are higher than my budget allows, but they seem to be making the model work. I bought a pair of earrings here for $40 last week. It was too close to closing to have it gift wrapped but the cashier asked if I'd like a box for them. When I got home I realized she'd bent the cardboard card the earrings were mounted on to fit it into the box. Not a big deal but this did not make for a great presentation of them as a gift. This has not been my experience usually, as they almost always do a very nice job with the (free!) gift wrapping. They are closed on Sundays.

This location is big and the price is very competitive with other places. In general, the products sold are cheaper than other retailers. However, it is not always the best price. So you have to do some research to get the best valued deals. For your information, nowadays many places do not allow taking pictures or videos inside their store unless you have permission to do so. I was taking a picture while shopping but a young staff member stopped me. She questioned me and asked if I had permission to do so. After I explained that I did not, she told me to apply for it through the company.

My Dr noted on the script not to fill with 2 very specific brands of Generics which actually make my situation worse. Well they filled it with the worst of these two. I talked to the pharmacist and he basically told me he has to except what comes from the warehouse and there was nothing he could do Which I find difficult to believe. He then told me I was going have to find a new pharmacy. I was not rude in anyway but really not happy. Now I need to jump though hoops to find a new pharmacy and have my Dr send the script there. This is a medication I require daily but can not pick until 30 days have past. So hopefully I will not be hospitalized or worse before I can make it happen.
