    raspberry chicken crepe
    Kendoll C.

While driving through the area, I was hunting for gluten-free spots to stop.. most menus I found were either super expensive or totally plain. Discovering Starry Night was a fantastic surprise. Their menu was flavorful, creative, and incredibly easy to adjust for gluten-free needs. I ordered the gluten-free chicken raspberry crepe. In addition to easy GF adjustment, they were so kind about putting the sauces on the side for me as well. It was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. The kids had ham and cheese, my husband got the Western, and every crepe was generously filled and bursting with bold, savory goodness. We sat outside and really enjoyed the relaxed vibe and the local artwork surrounding the area. Such a great stop. Would highly reccommend.

Good coffee and crepes. Friendly staff. Room to sit inside and out. Strawberry crepe sweet but not overly so. Would visit again!

Parking was easy and everyone that worked there was SUPER nice! They had a lot of great options for breakfast and we decided in the strawberry and Nutella crepes and coffees! Played Guess Who! Outside while eating the crepes.

My friend needed to find a place that had gluten-free options. This was a wonderful find.

Starry Night Coffee and Crepes was really good! I had the Sugar + Lemon and a cup of coffee. The ambience and decor was lovely. Service was fast and pleasant. I only wish that for an eat in cafe, they could have used themed ceramic cups and plates as well instead of paper. I think that is a missed opportunity.

decent spot! didn't love my stuffed french toast but i think it would have been better if the cream cheese was whipped not just put in there. my coffee was great tho!

Cheerful and friendly staff, excellent selection, and great food quickly! What's not to love?

This was a great Cary find! The Western + Strawberry crepes we ordered were made fresh and tasty. The only drawback was that the seasoning on the Western was lacking, and the brown sugar that I requested on the Strawberry was lacking also. Were they good? Yes. Could they have been great? Heck yes. The potential is noted and I'd absolutely try it again, asking more specifically for seasoning and extra brown sugar. The affogato and the mocha latte were made to perfection. Definitely worth a try! Cheers!

So not a bad place, had takeout. Found the staff friendly 8 out of 10, food quality textures 9 out of 10, quantities 5 out of 10. Would had liked a little bit more of the Raspberry preserves. Also the bacon was described as 6 pc. That is what I received 6 pc of bacon that equals 3 slices of bacon. Better description is need. The crepe 9 out of 10. See photos attached.

Cinnamon bun crepe, eggs Benedict crepe, bananas foster crepe
    Joshua S.

The crepes here are amazing! We always split 3 between the two of us, the eggs Benedict, the cinnamon bun, and the bananas foster. Food is delicious and comes out fast, and staff is always very nice and friendly. The only potential shortcoming is that the portions are a little bit smaller than what would be ideal, but we always lick our plates clean every time we come here. Great casual breakfast spot, we've been here 3 times already and probably many more in the future.

The reviews were glowing, and repeatedly warned about the wait, that my expectations were probably set too high going in. I got the steak and eggs crepe and added avocado, extra steak, and kale. The eggs sit on top, and mine came closer to over-hard than the over-medium I asked for -possibly from sitting in the to-go box for 15 minutes, so I'll give some benefit of the doubt there. The crepe itself was tasty, and honestly I'd come back to try something off the sweets menu. But the fillings didn't land. The steak was a little chewy, and the mushrooms were cut too thick for a crepe -- they made it hard to cut cleanly and felt out of place. The add-ons I'll leave alone since those were my call. Overall the dish felt fairly run-of-the-mill against the hype. One note: this might be a dish better served by not allowing customizations, to keep it consistent to its intent. What threw me is that "steak and eggs" is the menu item, yet they also offer a carne asada crepe with no eggs ...so the only real difference is eggs placed on top, which doesn't change the crepe itself. Felt clear as mud after unboxing my meal. The latte I got was standard. Nothing wrong with it, nothing memorable. TL:DR this read as a solid fallback breakfast more than the must-try the reviews promised. The dogs I saw at the outside tables kept this closer to a 3.5 than falling on the other side of 3.

The casual but polished ambiance fits perfectly into the charming, throwback small-town feel of downtown Graham.. which feels like something out of an earlier era with its historic courthouse, independent movie theater, and locally-owned boutiques and casual restaurants. The menu offers a wide variety of made-to-order savory and sweet crepes, as well as several toasts and waffle dishes. On my last visit to PRESS, I had the seasonal Blue Ridge crepe ($16.50), which was excellent -- a savory, blue-tinged shell filled with a great combination of sweet maple syrup-glazed ham and tangy granny smith apples and topped by a scrambled "hurricane-style" egg and a spicy maple mustard drizzle. YUM! The beverage menu at PRESS is equally impressive, featuring everything from made-to-order hot and cold coffees and tea-based beverages to a carefully curated cocktail list. I really enjoyed the soy maple pecan latte.

I wanted to be seated so that I could order before she arrived so we could eat promptly after she arrived. We were only a party of two! There were plenty of open tables and booths at the time. It is very obvious that management doesn't trust and hasn't trained their staff to make good, sound decisions that are beneficial to the both the business and the customers. After 30 min a different employee came out of nowhere and offered to seat me. I expressed to her that I was told they were allowed to seat me yet, and it was clear that she had the authority to overrule that "policy". Kudos to her for doing the right thing. "Mediocre quality with even worse service."…read more I come here quite a bit - although, I'm really not sure why. Let me start with the good news: the coffee is not terrible. It's not good, either, but it's exceedingly average. In terms of the definitive ranking of coffee on the plaza, Joe Van Gogh is a clear first, followed by here, and then a close third is ABP. Unfortunately, the service here is perhaps the worst on campus. Now I don't like to be rude - although I might have a penchant for the dramatic - but it's truly unbearable. They have two registers, so it's a guessing game as to which will serve you first. Then, you have to wait to be served. I have waited at the register for over 2-3 minutes, repeatedly trying to make eye contact with anyone who is working there, only to continue to be ignored, with not even a slight recognition that, in fact, they did see me and are going to serve me when they are ready. I have been asked to go to the other register, only to have the person directly behind me be served immediately, and I have had to actually leave the Café because it had been so long without service. Honestly, if you can, go to Joe Van Gogh, and if it's closed, save yourself the headache and go to ABP - the quality might be a little worse, but at least you'll be served. FOOD/COFFEE QUALITY (1.5/5) * I can only really speak to the coffee, but it's mediocre. * Other friends have said that the crepes are mediocre. SERVICE (0.5/5) * I've said everything I need to say above. * In a word, ugh. AMBIANCE (2/5) * This is probably its strong point. Located in West Union, the ambiance and feel is great. FOOD/COFFEE SELECTION (4/5) * Rather wide - crepes, sandwiches, and a full coffee bar. Rounds down to 1/5 stars.
