Our new office phones have great features, but the best is the mobile app, we are able to go on exchange by changing a setting in app from our cell phones (no more worrying about forgetting to put phones on exchange, or thinking "did I put us on exchange?!"). Through the app we are able to call patients from our mobile phones without showing our phone number, the number that shows on caller ID is our business name and phone. We came in to upgrade our ancient IPhones and initially, we thought he would be like the usual reps who get you the phone you want and then send you out the door a like you're just a number. But as we engaged him in conversation about our phone preferences, we found him to be very knowledgeable, helpful, funny, and transparent. Because of this, we decided that only three of us will stick with the IPhone and one gladly went back to an Android (Google Pixel 10). He answered our questions, laughed with us, and went the extra step to get us the phones right there and then rather than having us wait to get them shipped. It is best to make an appointment just in case, but the wait here is less than ten minutes. We were here to get a new cable box since ours was over six years old and had stopped receiving service. Our service person, Olivia, was also able to reduce our overall service bill by a third of what we were paying. This was accomplished by adding a secondary e-sim to my phone, which added a second separate telephone number and line. I will read the fine print for this deal as it may be more costly. The second phone number is free for a year, but I will be charged $30 per month should I decide to keep the new phone line and number after the initial year. The new box worked great once we got home.

I decided to go all in and check out the iPhone 13 with loads more memory than I was working with before. One question was what kind of deal could they cut me and which branch should I go to. I had switched my service from AT&T (they are the devil!) to T-Mobile at the Harbor Gateway and they had treated me well but I saw the Gardena location by Vons had a high Yelp rating too and was closer. I figured it was worth a try. I could always go back to the other location if I didn't like their service. My wife and I were cheerfully greeted by Brenda Hernandez who was soooo helpful. I knew this was the right place. I was able to save a decent amount of money (not a huge amount since my phone was an oldie but a moldy) which would be paid monthly along with our bill. I actually wanted to pay the total all at once but I guess that's how they do things. Brenda assisted me in some of the basic operational differences between the 6 and the 13 and patiently went through the process of data and app transfer and deleting the contents of my old phone. We ran into a glitch but she figured out it was due to the VPN on the 6 so we were able continue without any further hiccups. This is a very convenient location to get to because it's at the end of the shopping center near Rocket Cleaners so you don't have to deal with the Vons traffic and limited parking. I would enter from the West side on Normandie past 155th going northbound if you want to avoid most of the shopping center traffic and the rather large number of stupid drivers and pedestrians glued to their cellphones oblivious to those stupid drivers who would subject them to a hit and run without batting an eye. Park out by the Rocket building or the California Bank and Trust for the quickest entry and exit unless you just HAVE to hit the Starbucks for that pumpkin spice latte. Don't forget. Shannon told me that I had to wait my turn. I told her I was number one in line and just waited 2 hours. She then started arguing with me and gave me a dirty look. I had to make it clear that I wasn't arguing because she was very hostile to me. There were also a few other employees who had just opened up, one staring down at paperwork not helping. There was no sense of urgency even though there was upwards of 20 people waiting.
