I do, this is my store, and I love the crew, they are very skilled in the barista position. I go every day so I pretty much know the crew by name as they do, mine The food is always perfectly prepared and fresh, and like I said, the crew is AMAZING at Preparing my morning joe The store, is always inviting, nice ambience & even when it's very crowded, the crew knows how to move everyone around and get everyone their drinks without a bunch of people touching them first and in a timely manner. I have seen many times where someone is there calling names making sure the coffee is facing the right way etc.. Very rarely, do I have to wait long, if at all, as I mobile order. I think in 20 years of going to Starbucks almost daily, one time my drink was the wrong size and it was actually bigger so no problem there. *As much as I don't want to be negative, there is ONE thing, and it's pretty important; if you're looking for a certain flavor, this one, runs out the quickest, and they do not re-order I can get it right down the street at any other Starbucks, for months after this one is saying "it's out of season", other than that, great store. Came here on Thanksgiving and just got a baguette and grilled cheese. When ordering I asked for the grilled cheese to be extra toasted. I got it and it wasn't so I asked kindly if they can toast it some more. The worker told her manager. Mind you I have been to other Starbucks and they never have a problem doing extra toasted. Heard the manager (short hair, white lady) yelling at her employees when I walked in too in front of the customers which is embarrassing for them. I am a very busy Mom with kids at Buena and FHHS. I frequent this Starbucks over many other nearby stores for one reason: excellent customer service. I like to buy drinks for my special needs teachers and para educators. Elyce sets the Gold Standard for Baristas. I come in flustered trying to figure out orders for everyone. Elyce is so calming and kind. She seems to read my mind when I'm thinking " what Chai thing can I get for Para Ryan?" While Elyse is creating perfection she finds the time to ask how I am. Horrible customer service I received from staff. If you want to go sit down and drink your coffee be prepared to get scolded or ignored for no reason. I went with my daughter to sit down and have a coffee and apparently she was "too loud" when kids are kids. She wasn't even running around or anything, simply being a toddler, but I politely got up and left. Simply, I know to never come to this location ever again. I find it comical that most Starbucks have 2 and 3 star ratings. One barista screwed up one order and it's "this place is the worst ever". Well here is the opposite... Drivu g through Ventura on the way home and stopped off for some coffee. Ordered a Grande cold brew, and had my wallet in my hand when I realized I had enough points to get a free one. I told the guy I would scan to use my points and he stated pouring my coffee. I then realized I should have for the venti since it's any size you want when you use your points. I mentioned it to the barista and he said "Sure man I'll change it to the venti, no problem." I wish I had got his name now so I could give him a shout out, but thanks to you, I'm an extra happy customer now :) So to all those Starbucks haters... how about calling out your Starbucks batistas when they go the extra mile too. read more

I had the worse experience at this location!! Took my family in for the reusable cups this morning. The cashier told me it was one cup per transaction, while the second cashier place orders with multiple cups in one transaction. I had to make 4 different transactions for my family while other patrons received multiple cups in one transaction. Then the barista told me I was unable to make changes to my drinks, while the second cashier allowed customers to make changes to their drinks. I'm all for rules, if they are being enforced equally to all customers. Although the location is convenient, I will not visit this location again! Horrible customer service! read more

Not sure if it was an off day or not, or if the recipe card to the "iced coffee procedure" has changed, but I was under the impression that it shouldn't be two-toned in color (milk on top and coffee on the bottom) and that it should be mixed so that all of the syrups/coffee/milk, etc. should be mixed together, and not sitting under a layer. read more

Good Morning Ventura. I just love starting my morning out visiting my neighborhood Starbucks. When I walk in they know what I want before I order it. We always joke around when ordering and say we should change my drink name to my name. This Starbucks feels like walking into a family home. Everyone is so very nice and pleasant and inviting. I've been coming to this Starbucks for years.. I don't know what has changed but the customer service is horrible!! Looking at the reviews in the past couple months bad customer service is the trend! Considering Vons has a Starbucks in the same shopping center you would think they would step it up. God forbid they mess up your drink, you will for sure get an attitude about it. Also how do you not have a strawberry refresher for two weeks now! That's insane! And then try to push the hibiscus drink because your out... sounds like your just trying to get rid of inventory. this is an update 10/10/16 9:14 am Only 4 customers ahead of me, it did not worry me because the line always moves fast. However, the girl ringing me was not welcoming and did not look like she was in a happy mood. Took my order and just asked if I wanted my receipt. My venti caramel macchiato took over 10 mins to be served. 2 people that order after me got their drinks before me. The guy in front of me asked if his drink was coming ( nicely asked too) and was told " it's on the way". I waited patiently only to be called to receive my drink without a smile, apology or without being looked at. Same cold demeanor the other customer prior to me received. Unacceptable. I should have gone to a different location. I love my coffee and I love my caramel. Caramel macchiato was a gift send down to me from the coffee Angels. I can't never go wrong with this drink. Hot or cold. Yummm. If I needed another excuse to drink coffee, now we are on pumpkin everything season, PSL time baby!!! This location has always gotten my drink just perfect. The baristas are all super nice and speedy taking orders. They only have on large table for people to study (sbx was my mothership while on school) but several little ones that can serve the same purpose. They all have outlets nearby to conveniently charge your computer while studying or your phone while yelling haha The plaza where this Starbucks is located it makes it easy for me to stop by while I wait for my son to finish his Taekwondo lessons, or a quick stop before/ after groceries shopping. It always has been clean, however I can't comment on their bathroom since I have not use them. * read more

Great Starbucks location. The only problem is, it seems like the local homeless population has decided the outdoor seating area is their new hangout. Let's just say that, after seeing a homeless guy "cleaning himself" while sitting on the bench outside, I would NEVER even touch their outdoor furniture. I was their the other day, and a guy was sitting on one of their chairs, talking to his friend about how he just got out of prison on parole and doesn't know where he can find a job. Like I said, this Starbucks is great. The people and the interior are wonderful, they just need to clean up the "patrons" outside. read more

This is my favorite Starbucks to come to in Ventura, and I live in Oxnard. Why you may wonder? Because this one just has that friendly-neighborhood vibe. You feel at home when you walk through the door and it's non-pretentious, the staff is super friendly, and know you as a regular, drinks are perfection here, I don't know if you can tell, but I'm a starbucks fiend and I can tell when my skinny vanilla latte is made right on my palate. Long waits...bummer. Over by the high school so all the kids pack the place out in the mornings and afternoon. I ordered an Ice Tea there one morning, black ice tea should not take 10 minutes put together. Besides water, it's the simplest of drinks to make on their menu. When the 10 min. Mark passed and I was watching people who were way behind me in line leave before me....I asked what was taking so long. The barista said I ordered it with Splenda and they had no packets of Splenda in the back because they ran out. She said she couldn't come out from behind the counter yet until her line eased up ( good luck with that, with the whole high school there ). I quickly went over and got 2 packets of Splenda and handed them to her. She put them in my drink and handed it to me. Really???? Did this just happen? Hand palm to face. Take some communication classes and a free drink pass on my next visit would of been a nice gesture. read more

The place is kept pretty clean and the employees are really nice which keeps me coming back to study here. The only thing that keeps me from rating this place 5 stars is the amount of homeless that come in to use the bathrooms as places to bath as well as hanging out at the tables inside. I feel for them, but this is a place of business. The current gentleman sitting next me seems to be quite sick and is coughing all over and picking his nose wiping it on his pants. Well I usually have a good experience coming to this particular location, but I have to say today's visit was less than stellar. I just wanted a cup of regular coffee and was told I would have to wait. "Great," I said, rejoicing in my head that I would be getting a fresh cup. When I got my coffee from the cashier, who didn't look up the entire time I was there, the coffee was burnt (and by 'burnt', I mean more than the standard way in which Sbux roasts their beans). I didn't have a lot of faith that asking my unhelpful barista/cashier would improve any subsequent orders I could have placed, so I left. It was not until I got home that I discovered my lid did not fit and there was a split in the rim of the cup, thereby dripping coffee all over the place. The people that work at this Starbucks are incredibly rude especially Janet. I don't know if they are use to serving high school kids so they think they can get away with talking to people the way they do. I've never felt bad for placing an order before and asking for extra ice. I avoid this Starbucks when I'm on this side of town, they make you uncomfortable and it's not how I'd like to start my day. If you aren't a morning person don't work at a coffee shop simple as that. read more
